Turning Of The Tide

Reporter from the Star-Tribune questions Minneapolis Police Department assistant chief Katie Blackwell about the dozens of MPD cops who swore out affadavits that she perjured herself about Maximum Restraint Technique (MRT) during the Chauvin trial:

Just kidding.  It was Liz Collin, from Alpha.   A conservative news organization, which does most of the actual “journalism” in this town.

The list of stories the MSM won’t touch until shamed into it by local conservative media, or naitonal/international media, or both, just keeps getting longer.

In fact, it deserves a list of its own.

Stay tuned.

  1. Stay tuned for what? I am not a fan of Chauvin, but he was not put on trial by law, but a trial by monkeys with a pre-determined outcome. The entire kangaroo court was full of perjury and misrepresentation of evidence not just by Blackwell, but medical experts as well. Everybody involved in the prosecution, including the judge, should be in jail for persecutorial misconduct. Justice will never be served in MN where rule of law is a figment of imagination.

  2. If indeed there was, per JPA’s comment, a great deal of perjury, that would explain why Chauvin and his colleagues kept the knee on Floyd’s neck five minutes after he lost consciousness and two minutes after they lost his pulse.

Yes, police officers ought to be reminded of the Nuremberg reality–“I was just following orders” should not get you off–but at the same time, it strikes me that a lot of other people need to join them in jail.

  3. Chauvin may get justice years after the fact but the real criminals will get away with it.
