As we careen toward a special election in a likely-illegal-but-what-are-ya-gonna-do-about-it-huh two weeks in Senate District 60, it’s worth taking a moment to remember this bit of actual reporting from almost exactly a year ago:
And to ask yet again – if the DFL runs roughshod over due electoral process in their own party, why do we believe they do any better in the city they proudly say they own?

The FBI? What do they care about multiple allegations of cheating and chicanery that plagued the Minneapolis DFL party? And furthermore, what are they gonna do about it? A couple arrests of low-level flunkies, prosecution makes a deal, no jail time – hey waittaminute, maybe one or more of the arrested are Somalis, then literally nothing will happen and this will all quietly disappear.
Sorry, but the linked tweet had it exactly backwards, it should read:

Glad we got that fixed.
Too bad Minnesota has an incompetent GOP which can’t/won’t launch lawsuits against these illegal maneuvers.
