While I don’t endorse Bono’s threat to “drive a car off a cliff” after a Trump election, nor Rob Reiner’s to “set himself on fire” (and doubt Cher get a bullet into her head with all her various, uh, augmentation), I do believe that if Trump plans to be a “dictator”, one useful act would be to make sure the celebs who promised to “move to Canada” and/or “leave the US” if Donald Trump were elected to actually deliver on it.

I don’t think that Diddy will be going anywhere soon. Many of the rest of them were on either Epstein’s flight log or Diddy’s party attendees, so I’m sure they want to get away as fast as possible!

Canada may not be such an attractive option. Trudeau’s grift seems to be ending and his possible electoral opponent on the right, Pierre Poilievre, is pretty Trump-like (OK, OK, this is Canada, maybe Reagan-like is a better metaphor – don’t want to be too extreme).

Travis Kelce is leaving the U.S., but not Taylor Swift? Disagree with the politics of those who would endorse Harris as I do, I’ve been holding out hope that Kelce could “ruin” Taylor’s career–or at least change it hugely–by giving her a relationship that works.

This is the perennial example of “Liberals don’t believe their own rhetoric.”
Whenever a political conversation turned towards “Trump is a Nazi,” “Trump’s a danger to America,” “SCOTUS said that Trump can do anything and be immune,” I’d usually collect the rest of the assertions together. It would usually go something like this;
“Okay, so for the sake of argument, if Trump is a Fascist/Nazi/Dictator and a threat to Democracy,…”
“He is.”
“and SCOTUS has declared that the President can send Seal Team 6 to assassinate his political opponents,…”
“They definitely have said that.”
“then I just have 1 question. Why hasn’t Biden sent Seal Team 6, or even the CIA, to assassinate Trump before he can destroy Democracy.”
At that point, people either walk away in disgust or say something like, “that would be illegal/wrong.” They almost never reconsider their own assertions that created that scenario.
And that’s why I have my own FB post today about Liberals and Conservatives inhabiting different Realities.

I’ve noticed if they mention a country they’re leaving to that it’s not a minority country.
Also, Roseanne has volunteered to be Trump’s Press Secretary. I think that could be fun.
