Shot in the Dark

The DFL Is Minnesota’s Gaslighting Abusive Spouse

In the immediate aftermath of declaring that realizing the non-charges against Trooper Londregan were “anti-queer” (???), Henco Attorney Mary Moriarty tells us that all that talk about crime in her jurisdiction is fearmongery:

During a May 28 event, Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty explained she believes there’s an effort to cause the public to fear crime.

“Moderate Democrats have done a lot of work in making people afraid of downtown Minneapolis,” she said. “There is a concerted effort to make people afraid of crime.”

The conversation took place between Moriarty and Dr. T. Anansi Wilson, a Mitchell Hamline School of Law professor. The discussion centered around being “good trouble” and activism.

Quick – which “protected class” suffers least from society”s alleged intesectionalities – a lesbian county attorney or a black tenured law professor?

“Crime is down”

VIolent crime? In Minneapolis? Not as of yesterday, it isn’t:

This is the sort of thing they talk about inside the echo chamber:

She also discussed her advice for current law students, which was to ask more questions. “You talk about the rule of law, it’s like, what is that? I mean, I kind of wonder how anybody talks about the rule of law now. Wasn’t Roe v. Wade rule of law? I mean, what happened to that?” Moriarty said.

To the modern ultra left,

  • “innocent until proven guilty” is “anti-queer”
  • “democracy” is “getting what we want”
  • “rule of law” is “making sure we get what we want”.

The only upside? If today’s generation of Henco voters actually do replace Moriarty, it’ll be with someone worse.

“Crime is down”. Whatta bullshit claim.

Geez, I just realized. Arguing about the movement of crime statistics by fractions of a percentage point when, 60 some years ago, in my lifetime, Minneapolis used to be practically crime free (interesting research project, crime rates in Mpls in the 50s and early 60s).

Was Roe v Wade rule of law? No. What an amazingly stupid thing for a lawyer to say.

“Rule of law” means “nobody is above the law.” It is expressly what Mary Moriarity opposes when she decides certain classes of people should be able to commit crimes with impunity. It is expressly what the American system of government was intended to prevent.

In the olden days, the privileged people would have been the aristocracy. In her world, it is descendants of slaves. It was wrong then and it’s wrong now

Are we certain she’s actually a lawyer? Has anyone checked her credentials?

Her motto is not Rule of Law. Her motto is quod licit Jovi, non licit bovi, which is the exact opposite.

LOL! She said the quiet part out loud about J6 by asking; “I mean like how many of the people there were in law enforcement?”

This factor was known before the kangaroo court was assembled. It was very convenient that Michael Stenger, the scapegoat senate sergeant at arms during the left wing false flag, who was on an initial zoom briefing stating that the troublemakers were paid actors, dies the day before he was supposed to testify in person.

By the way, I’m not aware of too many people that aren’t afraid of crime, especially if they’ve been a victim at one time. Of course, Soros funded DAs and Attorneys General release so many criminals that they want their low information voters to cheer and accept it.

I love the way she blames moderate Democrats for spreading the fear because of course she can’t blame Republicans.

Why report a crime when the police tell you they aren’t going to respond to certain types of crime. Seems to me your crime stats will decline.

Same thing happened when I was a teacher. Our principal got called on the carpet because suspensions were too high. So guess what the craven guy did? Yup he stopped suspending students and voila! his suspensions declined and he was out of hot water although the teachers had to deal with oppositional violent students.
