Berg’s 18th Law is still well in effect, and will be for another day or two.
But while no details have been released yet about the killer of Minneapolis officer Jamal Mitchell, I’ll wager a shiny new quarter that he/she:
- has a long rap sheet
- has multiple unprosecuted arrests in Hennepin County.
- Will have been prohibited from possessing firearms.
- when the above is made public, this case will disappear from the media.
- BLM will be utterly silent on the murder of a black cop.
Any action on that bet?
PS: It’s days like this I miss the “Reverend” Nancy Nord Bence. By this time, she’d have already posted some bit of hilariously inappropriate and unjustifiable social media bilge that (further) humiliated her and her organization.
I miss the comic relief.

A touch of irony: Officer Mitchell was a 2022 police hire. So MPD hires a black man after demonizing the cops who arrested George Floyd and two years later he gets shot by an armed perp. How’s that DEI supposed to work?

^ it’s way worse than merely ironic. Mitchell was (apparently) actually a good hire. From AlphaNews:
The fallen officer has been identified as Jamal Mitchell, who had only been with the department for about a year-and-a-half. Mitchell made headlines in February of last year after he and another officer rescued an elderly couple from their burning residence on his third day on the job.

Alpha News is reporting that the killer is black and Muslim. Huh. Imagine that.

Supposedly, someone ran into the perp with his car and knocked him down. When Officer Mitchell arrived on the scene, supposedly several bystanders tried to warm him by shouting to him that the downed person was the bad guy and that he had a gun. Either Mitchell didn’t hear them or maybe couldn’t understand all of them screaming at the same time. I’m waiting for all of civilian videos to be released.
