World War 3 Is Starting

The deficit bomb is ticking away.

Illegal immigration is crushing working-class incomes.

But we get the representation we deserve, apparently:

It took me a couple of beats to realize it wasn’t the “Congress” scene from “Idiocracy”.

Have to wonder what the suffragettes would think.

On the other hand, the more time Congress spends cat-fighting about fake eyelashes, the less time they spend enacting stupid legislation, so silver lining?

these are the fruits of the 19th amendment, for 104 years, ever since the enactment, peace and reason has reigned supreme in the land.

or maybe we could do for the 19th what we did for the 18th and correct our error before it destroys the republic.

Wait a minute guys, you haven’t heard from Reps. Lauren Boebert, Ilham Omar, Sheila Jackson Lee and Maxine Waters.

Surely, they are the voice of reason.

And oh yeah, who is on duty today to remind the dumber than a rock Rep. Betty McCollum to breathe at least 12 times a minute?

I won’t deny that I have found the 19th Amendment to be problematic, but in retrospect I find this notion to be simple, appealing and wrong.

I am reminded that it as well as the Prohibition amendment were voted in by men. Men also managed to get us into a Civil War and elect the first “worst president of all time”, Wilson. Oh, yeah, the Revenue Act of 1913 re-established a federal income tax occurred under the men-only suffrage. And let’s not forget the caning of Senator Charles Sumner on the floor of Congress by another man both of whom were elected by men.

I am absolutely positive that not once during the these events did the terms “baby girl” or eyelashes come up. Nor why the use of these terms makes the discussion above idiotic (“Idiocracy” was a simplistic, elitist crap) when compared to even a brief look at previous Congress incarnations.

You should see all of the blank stares I get from lefty women when I point out that it was a Republican from CA that put forth the 19th Amendment, but the DemoCommies blocked it for 40 years, due to a trifecta of Dems running the legislature. Wilson was so unpopular with the suffragette crowd that they nicknamed him “Kaiser Wilson”, which was pretty damning at the time. On a side note, there was a significant number of Democrat women that opposed it, using the reasoning that most women would vote for whoever their husbands told them to.

Best reply on that Tweet: “The Ghettosberg Address live from the Waffle House of Representatives”.

What the mic didn’t pick up were the giggles of male congress critters whispering among each other… “cat fight, cat fight”.
