I’m guessing there will be zero visible consequences to her daughter getting suspended from Columbia, just like there were zero consequences to VP candidate Tim Kaine’s son for his rioting.
Now think about what your parents would have done if you got suspended from college.

There will be zero legal consequences because members of the House of Lords are not subject to the same rules of conduct as scruffy mortals. But will being suspended will harm their futures, or enhance them? A Muslim woman woman suspended for protesting Jews – can that hurt her marriage prospects among Somalis? Her employment prospects among Democrats? To those people, it’s more like earning a merit badge than a black mark. All the other girls will be green with envy while she preens at the next dinner party.
Just last week I saw some random DFL keyboard warrior take a MN GOP Legislator to task on Facebook for referring to Anti-Fa as Fascists. They literally pulled the “Nah, Ah, it says Anti right in their name so they can’t be fascist.”
I thought of responding with, “If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then obviously it’s an Anti-Duck because that’s what it calls itself.” But I’ve been sick all weekend and I don’t need my Facebook notifications to blow up for a mere 5 seconds of dopamine.

I was really glad to hear that Robert Kraft, Columbia alum and owner of the New England Patriots, has pulled his financial support from the school. To get the attention of woke institutions, cut off their money.
Regarding this case, the staffing at the NYPD is about twice the level of other departments on a per capita basis. It is not the ability to shut this down that is lacking, shall we say.
And kudos to Kraft, and I dare say that alumni need to say “if you’re going to pull stunts like this, I want my money back.”
