She Must Be A Riot At Parties

Lieutenant Governor Flanagan has a unique (?) approach to sports gambling:
I might just have to take enough interest in college hoops to keep track of how her bracket does.

Yea, she’s definitely one of those “preachy women” that James Carville identified.

By this measurement, it’s only fair that Minnesota didn’t make the tournament because they’d have been a favorite for the title.
It’s protected by the state constitution AND legislation was passed last session to protect abortion up to the moment of birth (and after for botched abortions). What more does she want? What else is there? The only other things I can think of are 1) post-birth abortions, and 2) China-style limits of successful births so additional pregnancies receive mandatory abortions.

I wonder where she stands on going topless?

Of course, “women” in this context is not likely to include slender, blonde, 20-year-old cis-women college coeds and much more likely to include 40-year-old trans guys with five o’clock shadow and implants, but still, I would expect a courageous leader like her to join the march for bosom freedom.
That ought to help her ratings outstate.

Flanagan reminds me a lot of Barack Obama in that she also has a ne’er-do-well father who walked out on her mother, but yet she identifies as the race/ethnicity of her father, not her mother. And in that light, I can understand why she’s so emphatic on abortion; it is too often the “easy way out” for women who are victimized by predatory men.
But that said, it would be refreshing if those whose mothers were victimized by predatory men were a little less accomodating to the cultures that birthed them.
Regarding the lady who just lost the toplessness case, she is a walking crime wave. I did a search on her name and found about nine mug shots; she doesn’t need permission to go topless in public, but rather an intervention from people who love her enough to say “stop”.

But I’ve been reliably informed that abortion access is under threat in Minnesota!?!? Didn’t Matt Birk being a LG candidate on the November ballot in 2022 automatically stop all abortions after 8 weeks?
It’s starting to sound like the DFL’s rhetoric has been hysterical and untruthful.

I note that while she may be dimly aware of geography, I don’t imagine that St. Mary’s and Gonzaga are likely to be pro-choice stalwarts.

There is a saying, “Go woke, go broke”.
“Okay,” I say, “but what exactly is the mechanism?”
Peggy Flanagan illustrates the process.
Now, I understand.
