Republicans need better advertising to win this Fall. They need a cartoonist.
Panel one: Biden saying “We must make gas more expensive so people use less, to save the planet for our children.”
Panel two: farmer telling trucker: “The price of fuel went up. I can’t afford to eat the cost, I’m passing it along to you.”
Panel three: trucker telling grocer: “His cost went up and so did mine. I can’t afford to eat the costs, I’m passing them along to you.”
Panel four: grocer telling Black woman carrying baby: “Their costs went up. I can’t afford to eat the costs, I’m passing them along to you.”
Panel five: Black woman holding baby, both looking out of the panel at reader: “We can’t afford to eat.”

Conservative cartoonists have a half-life of about one year.
But hope springs eternal.

I don’t think that cartoon will have the hoped-for effects.
The concept of cause-and-effect as seen in the brutal logic of consequences is ignored by DemoCommie voters and denied (as white-centric) by DemoCommie leaders. For them, the fifth panel stands alone as proof of why the task of fundamentally transforming the United States of America is still incomplete.
The first four panels are irrelevant. If they are even contemplated, they provide an indictment of capitalism’s evils.
PS, I hope the fifth panel shows the black woman decorated with those ridiculously long nails, hair extensions, and lots of make-up.

What’s worth noting is that prior to his campaign for President, Ronald Reagan did exactly what we’re talking about here. Now granted, not everybody listens to the radio like they used to, so finding the right format will take some doing–I don’t know that comics are it, either–but it’s worth noting that the nation’s move to the right had a lot to do with this move by Reagan. Reagan also did the same in his speeches as President, and while running for President.
