The only real question: what ethical and moral gymnastics will Mary Moriarty go through to make sure none of them serves a moment in prison?

No mention of a reward for information that might lead to an arrest and immediate freedom without bail or charges.

Okay, that’s maybe not the best way to cut the crime rate.

How about a bounty? We still pay them for gophers, coyotes, and other wild animals that cause damage and destruction, right?

I have not witnessed this ethical and moral side of Mary Let’emGo.

All over the city. There’s no perceived barrier like 8 mile in Detroit anymore. And the carry permit holders are in the suburbs and outstate, natch. But since some of the robberies are occurring in the wealthier areas, apparently, that might mean that Moriarty might actually have to do something.

Well, if she can after driving out all the good officers….

I do find it strange that crime is on the rise in Minneapolis.

We are endlessly lectured that crime is caused by poverty, systemic racism and of course, Trump. But the Biden economy is booming, Democrats have run Minneapolis for decades, and Trump hasn’t set for in the city for ages, maybe never.

    How can this be happening?

^ I doubt crime is on the rise in Mpls and it’s racist to think it is.

    It’s down,.

    From last year.

    that’s what we’re told.

They’re completely quiet about 2015/2016, for some reason.

Let’s flip that on its head, to what extent is poverty caused by crime?

To ensure that nobody goes to prison, all you need to do is fail to investigate crimes adequately (that’s 80% of sexual assaults according to a Star-Tribune investigation in 2017), and then the prosecutor can simply use “discretion” to decide that since the crime was not investigated, you can’t prosecute.

(scariest thing about the Star-Tribune investigation was that only 20% of assault allegations got a good basic investigation, but 26% were referred to the prosecutor for prosecution. “The process is the punishment”, as they say.)

And with all those serious crimes not getting investigated, of course you can still find Officer Friendly out there on traffic patrol. Priorities, I guess.

I seem to recall a study from like 2015 or 2016 that highlighted the number of unprosecuted sexual assault cases in blue run cities vs red run. If I recall, the results were pretty damning for DemoCommie fiefdoms. Trying to find it.
