   I’ve been banging this drum in this forum for years. Ethnic nationalism is deadly, especially in a multi-ethnic country like the US. Leftists academics and activists use the same term to refer to white Americans — “settlers” — that the Arabs use to refer to the Jews.
   And the Arabs believe that the Jews have no right to exist, their very presence is an abomination.

    The article did not identify any haters group, other than elderly Jewish men. I think that the cultural purpose of the article was to tag American Palestinians as an approved victim group whose special status must be recognized.

    So, now I have more information that I deem reliable.

    The bomb actually fell in the parking lot, not on the hospital. That’s important, because it further solidifies my suspicion it was an Israeli bomb, not a muzzy rocket.

    That’s because of the amount of damage incurred to the building from an explosion outside it was unlikely to be caused by one of the Wylie Coyote ACME rockets the Hamas nitwits are lobbing.

    It also means it was not deliberately dropped to destroy a hospital. It was just the kind of nasty crap that happens when you drop bombs in a densely populated city.

    I think that you need to re-examine the evidence, Blade. The Israelies cannot hide a bomb dropped from an airplane, their will be evidence of an overflight.
    And Hamas in Gaza has a lot of crazy hardware, some medium range missiles from Syria and Iran that they modify without proper development programs. It’s like the Fallout video game in Gaza.
    I look at the metadata. Who can supply on the ground photographs of the strike site? Hamas. Who is not releasing on the ground photographs of the strike site? Hamas.

    I am really interested in the rockets Hamas is using in Gaza. From the times article, it seems that the explosion in the hospital parking lot was a fireball caused by the exploding fuel of a Hamas rocket that fell short. But I always think of these little guerrilla rockets as having solid fuel propellant for obvious (I hope} reasons. But you can power a rocket with gasoline (IIRC, Godard’s first rocket was fueled with gasoline). Why don’t we know more? If the explosion came from an Israeli bomb dropped from an airplane, or an Israeli rocket, why isn’t Hamas showing us the bomb or rocket fragments? Why is no one reporting on the number of casualties anymore?
