I give Pierre Poilievre – conservative candidate running against Justin “No Way He’s Castro’s Son” Trudeau” about a thousand style points for this response:
Initially I thought Poilievre was being a little brusque in dealing with a potential voter.
I was informed the person “asking” the “questions” is, however, a journalist – someone who’s supposed to explain things clearly to people, who can’t ask a clear question.
Choose wisely, Canada. It’s never too late.

The “journalist” was a clichĂŠ: My favorite moment was when he used the lazy “people say”, and Poilievre challenged him to cite the data that drove his question. Did the “journalist” take an informal poll of the newsroom? Talk to his barber?
But the question appears not to have been driven by data.

Re that hospital, information from a website (grain of salt):
“Al Ahli Arab Hospital is one of the oldest in Gaza, operating since the early 1880s. Initially it was a Christian medical mission and is known by many locals as the Baptist Hospital. It had been functioning as a free community clinic run by the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem of the Middle-Eastern branch of the Anglican Church.”

Congratulations to Poles celebrating a victory for pluralism over populism.
In a fraught world where populism, polarization and post truth politics appear on the ascendant and the PiS were a prime example, it’s reassuring to know that the majority of Polish people want parties respectful of the rule of law, an independent judiciary, minorities and support for Ukraine.
Poland is fundamentally a very pro-EU and freedom-seeking country. The Russianâinspired, authoritarian PiS government was an aberration, just like Trump, Le Pen, Orban, Brexit and others. Despite every dirty trick in the autocratic rule-book, itâs gone. Going forward, EU can expect a democratic, responsible, progressive Polish government led by the former EU President, Donald Tusk.

This is truly a black day for “journalism.”
Regardless of where the rocket came from and who launched, major news outlets like the NY Times, BBC, and the WSJ simply printed the claims of a Palestinian spokesman that the Israelis had bombed a hospital and killed 500 people.
We’ll see more of this as the ranks of mainstream journalists is filled with 20-something wokesters. They literally don’t care about the truth.
Here’s what a possible correction might look like:
“This news organization reported that the Israelis bombed a hospital in Gaza and killed 500 people.
It now appears that the explosion was the result of rocket fired by Hamas. Hamas has fired over 7,000 rockets into Israel from Gaza in the hopes that they would hit an Israeli hospital, not a Palestinian hospital. Sorry we didn’t mention that, or the fact that a third of the rockets launched by Hamas towards Israel fall short and land in Gaza. Sorry we hadn’t mentioned that either. Also, the explosion appeared to have been in the parking lot outside the hospital, and killed a lot fewer than 500 people.”

You were concerned that anyone who asks such lamely worded “questions” – that is, purely rhetorical editorials with a question mark at the end – someone who deserves to be treated brusquely – might’ve been a potential voter for Poilievre? Really?
All that doorknob was trying to do was antagonize, if not embarrass, Poilievre. Who would have none of it. I was very impressed. Canadians are fortunate to have a politician like him available.

No one knows anything for sure, and every participant in the Palestinian shit show are proven liars, have their own motivations to do so now, and all have a history of butchery…including the US government.
Here’s what we know for sure:
1. Although I’ve read that Hezbollah has handed over a few more powerful, sophisticated rockets to Hamas, 99% of the rockets they shoot at Israel have nowhere near the power it takes to level a building the size of that hospital.
2. When you are dropping bombs from the air on the most heavily populated strip of land on the planet, hitting civilians is absolutely part of the deal.
3. Israel has bombed hospitals, schools and refugee camps several times before.
A deliberate act of retribution, or accident, until I see unequivocal evidence to the contrary, Occam’s razor points the finger at the Israelis.

You will notice that the media is willing to accept the idea that the hospital parking lot was inadvertently struck by a hamas missile that fell short, but no one seems willing to accept if the explosion was indeed the result of a strike by an Israeli bomb or rocket, that this was anything less than the intentional murder of civilian non-combatants.
Sometimes it is tough being the smartest guy in the room, but I’ll take the job.

Seeing lots of pics online of fiery explosions, cursing the Jews for blowing up a hospital, none actually claiming to be pictures of the ruins of the hospital supposedly leveled by the nefarious Jews.
It is a hoax.
