Addiction?
By Mitch Berg
Governor Klink apparently came to love the way he got to govern while he had “emergency powers” [1]:
Of course, none of it is “done”.
It’s mandated. It’s on paper.
Businesses have scarcely started paying for “Paid Leave”, or absorbing the impact of the unfunded mandate.
“Affordable Housing” is exquisitely unaffordable.
Public transportation? They’re throwing around plans for trains. That’s about it.
It’s the sort of performative posturing that we’d call “virtue signaling” if it were talking about social hot buttons.
Since it’s about spending and building, we’ll need a new term.
Bureauvirtue signalling?
[1] Or at least the twerp who handles his social media.

Ha! The residents of Hennepin county that voted for these economically illiterate and vapid morons, must be real happy that there is a 6.5% property tax increase coming. When will those sheep learn that all of the feel good, yet damaging laws they are passing, have to be paid for ?
And, speaking of trains, another pedestrian got mowed down by one on Wednesday. Choo! Choo!

On the other hand, boss, the people who are “workers” and interested in Wally’s goodies list, probably don’t have property. In HennCo or anywhere else… hmm, maybe fucking everything up economically to make everyone a worker is intentional? Cloward–Piven strategy anyone?

… sorry for blathering on, but I find this whole thing interesting in what it says without saying it.
boss mentioned Schwab’s WEF. They used to have a marketing slogan that “you will own nothing and be happy” – something I found kind of insulting and thus pointless. But what if it was intended to, shades of Pavlov’s dog, train as many as possible to be happy servicing the so-called elites as (more or less unskilled) urban labor. Baristas, clerks, dog-walkers, whatever the elites need.
Wouldn’t Wally’s checklist of “accomplishments” be exactly what a happy urban service laborer would want?
…oh, yeah, waittaminute, don’t forget legalizing pot too. Way back in the day, 50 years ago, pot was always known for reducing or even removing self-initiative. All you need when you’re high is a few munchies and something to entertain you and you can spend hours doing nothing. And nowadays pot is much stronger than it used to be, so those effects are amplified. In the end, you are unable to do anything other than be an urban service laborer.
And then, when you’re 40 or 50 or so, see where your life is, you realize whatta chump you’ve been and there’s nothing you can do about it, they also have assisted suicide.

Minnesota is a leading destination for workers? Are we having an influx of workers rushing to the goldfields of Minnesota to take advantage of these new programs?
I thought we are losing residents what’s going on? Why aren’t these new programs working?
