The Georgia Attorney General is bringing RICO charges against 60+ “Anti”-Fa droogs:
“We contend the 61 defendants together have conspired against the construction of the Atlanta public safety training center by conducting, coordinating, and organizing acts of violence, intimidation, and property destruction,” said AG Carr, in a press conference on Tuesday.
As alleged in the indictment, the defendants are members of Defend the Atlanta Forest, which Carr described Tuesday afternoon as an anarchist, anti-police, and anti-business extremist organization.
Time to remind your “progressive” friends that “Anti”-Fa is the lineal descendant of the German Communist Party’s version of the Brownshirts – and unlike the Brownshirts, they still exist.
Watch for Democrats to claim RICO is an affront to democracy later today.
Lets not pussyfoot around this;
Anti-Fa is the direct lineal descendant of the Democrat Party’s previous militant arm, the Ku Klux Klan.
Pig;
Let’s not forget their goon squad that handles their wet work-MS13.
Antifa is literally descended from Stalinism.
Antifa members move from state to state to engage in explicitly political criminal activity. Why no fed RICO charges?
We know why.
See? We are too, fair. We charged Liberals with RICO for acts of violence, intimidation and destruction. Therefore, it’s okay that we charged Trump with threatening violence, intimidating public officials who weren’t doing their jobs, and destroying Our Precious Democracy.
And all the RINOs nod their heads and bleat in unision.
Antifa members move from state to state to engage in explicitly political criminal activity
Hmm, interesting coincidence… weren’t two, maybe three of those antifa militants who were shot by Rittenhouse also known pedophiles? So, would it be acceptable to conclude that they don’t just move around to engage in “explicitly political criminal activity”, but also disgusting explicit pedophilic criminal activity? Just curious.
JDM:
Grosskreutz (survived) was committing crimes that night (carrying a pistol with an expired permit, also acting as an EMT with an expired EMT license), had been convicted of previous misdemeanor crimes, and was a suspect in a felony burglary case but charges were dropped.
Huber (deceased) had two domestic abuse convictions, and had been previously sent back to prison after violating terms of probation.
Rosenbaum (deceased) has a long and troubled past with a felony conviction for sexually abusing minors. After spending the better part of 14 years in prison and registering as a sex offender, he fathered a child with a woman he met after he was discharged.
One day, she confronted Rosenbaum about pornography she found on his phone, prompting him to body-slam her and he (sic) was sent to jail.
Rosenbaum (deceased) *had
Regarding using RICO, what I’ve seen is that you’ve got to create a foundation of convictions that are related first…..and then you work from that pattern of convictions (and people who would like to get out of jail earlier) to go after the ringleaders. So in a manner of speaking, give it time.
In another manner of speaking, though, once the college activists and such learn the hard way that getting a criminal conviction is a life-limiting event, Antifa and the like will slow down a lot. The trick is persuading big city prosecutors that these things need to be prosecuted.
I wouldn’t be so certain of that, BB. A felony conviction will really impact you, a misdemeanor not so much. In Dem-frindly places like DC and NY, prosecutors and judges will do a plea bargain to misdemeanor when a felony charge is more appropriate.
I am curious about what Hunter Biden will plead to. If it’s a felony, he can’t practice law or be a corporate officer where he has to handle money, not even at a non-profit.
They need to expand the RICO case to go after the Antifa Enablers – the ones that put up the bail money to get the goons out on bond.
That would get the proper attention.
UMMP, no doubt that a start must be had in a place where the “loony left” does not rule the roost–you need at least an “honest Democrat” (is there such a thing these days) or a Republican, and yes, for obvious reasons, Antifa seems to operate mostly where the loony left runs things.
One possibility might be what Indiana did with Gary about 20 years back; send in the State Police to do the arrests the city police could not do due to being understaffed. More or less, state legislatures need to make the argument “it is important for the rest of the state to go into certain areas run by the loony left, and because of this, we are truncating the right of self-rule in some of these areas.”
jdm,
In addition to pedophiles, AntiFa is also saturated with men claiming to be women trans activists. I know. What’s the difference?
