Best Of Hands

By Mitch Berg

This is National Education Association primo Becky Pringle, speaking to the Red Guards in Shanghai in 1961.

Just kidding. She’s speaking – er, “Speaking” – to a teachers convention.

She walked on her applause for a solid minute. That’s just bizarre.

OK – so it’s poll time. Who does Pringle most resemble:

A: The austere Italian political wonk:

B: Dwight Schrute

C: Noted animal rights activist and social benefits champion:

Votes in the commlents.

There had to be at least 2 people in that room that felt the same way. Had I been there, I couldn’t have resisted the urge to stand board straight, extending my right arm straight out and shouting “sieg heil” at least five times.

    One can understand her passion:

    Think about it.

    Average salary (Metro area) $80K.
    Full medical benefits.
    Full dental benefits.
    13+ weeks vacation.
Life-time employment (guaranteed despite abysmal performance)
    Generous pension w/early retirement.

You should thank God that you are not so similarly oppressed.

The healthiest thing this country could do would be to disband the NEA. and return all power to local school boards.
It would be worth the try, just to expose what the government/NEA believes the purpose of public education is: produce workers whose primary loyalty is to the state.

    Buggy whips. Stonemasonry. Thatched roofs.

Unions – another idea whose time has past.

She’s using an oratory technique that has been used by despots and (black poverty pimps) throughout history. Blacks are especially skilled in using it, having been weaned on it in black Baptist churches.

Hitler and Mussolini’s fervor came from from deep conviction and not a small amount of megalomania. They believed what they were saying…blacks don’t believe any of it, but they know it works.

As an aside, both Hitler and Mussolini saw their goal as the restoration of the Roman empire at it’s peak and their oratory mimicked that of the Caesars. Both National Socialism and Fascism relied heavily on Roman icons and imagery.

If you ever get a chance, look at the architectural plans Albert Speer made for Berlin. It’s straight up 20th century Rome.

It strikes me that the NEA speaker blathered on quite a while without actually saying anything. We might joke that those who can listen to that without crying “nonsense” (or a bit more country vulgar) probably ought not vote.

And Mussolini reminds me of a Shriner at parades with that hat, or possibly the Grand Poo Bah of the Water Buffalo Lodge.

    re: Mr Bubble’s observation

“Negroes have very meagre conception of the import of words, and are influenced more by sound than sense in their use. With him [or her ~ED] it is a vocal sound, and not a significant symbol representing actual, visible, living qualities. The negro idea of conversation is a fluent use of words, uttered without any regard to truth or facts.

“He will spend hours in talking about the most trivial things concerning himself and others. This disposition to chatter consumes an amount of time of the value of which he has not the slightest idea.”

    ~ WILLIAM HANNIBAL THOMAS

Former slave; lawyer and South Carolina state Senator

  12. Blade Nzimande Says:

If you’ve ever listened to blacks in prison orate, especially regarding the injustice of their incarceration, you’ll understand what Thomas was talking about.

Incarcerated blacks accumulate a voluminous thesaurus of words, and can make them spill from his lips like a waterfall, and say absolutely nuffins.

Black politicians and poverty pimps are just as adept with the meaningless oration.
