Off Script

SCENE: One morning at MNDFL Headquarters. An array of progressive Minnesota luminaries are gathered around a table. At the head sits Lieutenant Governor Peggy FLANAGAN. To her right, Ken MARTIN, chair of the DFL. The other seats are occupied by Javier MORILLO of the SEIU, Denise SPECHT of Education MInnesota, Alida MESSINGER of Alliance for a Better MInnesota, and the senior staff of Minnesotans United for All Progressive Causes, the non-profit/money-laundering operation that works with the party.

FLANAGAN: Murphy!

(Esme MURPHY enters the room): Yes, Maam?

FLANAGAN: Gimme a g*****mn Manhattan.

MURPHY: Yes, ma’am. (Murphy exits.)

FLANAGAN: OK, Ken, where’s the governor?

MARTIN (Yelling): Governor Walz?

WALZ (Enters from a closet next to the exit door). Hraaaa hraaa hraaaas hreaa One Minnesota hraaaaa hra hra hraaaaaa Best State (holds out an iPhone, takes a selfie) hraaaa hraaaa hra hra donut hraaaaaa hraaaaa…

FLANAGAN: Got it! Enough! (WALZ goes back into the closet).

FLANAGAN: We need an example of a place in the real world that is dominated by Democrats and exemplifies love and equity.

Inge “Lucky” CARROLL, a former guidance counselor at a school for monomaniacs, Inge is Head Meme-Buffer at “Minnesotans United for All Liberal Causes, raises her hand.

FLANAGAN: What?

CARROLL: Let’s have them look at Hamtramck, Michigan. It’s solid Democrat country – their Democrat congresswoman won by a sixty point margin. And the city is majority Muslim and is run by an elected Muslim city council, and they just voted…

(CARROLL squints at a site on her phone) uhhhhhhh

On Tuesday, Hamtramck, Michigan’s city council, unanimously voted to banPride flags from being displayed on public property. Located just outside Detroit, Hamtramck is the only Muslim-majority town in the United States.

The ruling was celebrated with cheers and applause inside City Hall, where dozens of concerned residents, Muslim and Christian, had shown up to express their thoughts on the matter.

According to the Detroit Free Press, the resolution was introduced by Councilman and Mayor Pro Tem Mohammed Hassan, and applies not only to Pride flags, but also those promoting any “religious, ethnic, racial, political, or sexual orientation group.”

“Only, the American flag, and the nations’ flags that represent the international character of our City shall be flown,” Hassan stated, adding that it was imperative to “maintain and confirm the neutrality of the city of Hamtramck towards its residents.”

FLANAGAN: (Sits, dumbfounded)

(The closet door opens. Governor WALZ steps out, and wanders around the room like a Roomba)

WALZ: Hraa hra hraaa hra hraaaaa hraaaaa hra BestState hra hraaaa hra Fully Funded hra hra hraaaaaa hra hra hraaa hra…

  1. Minnesota Supreme Court Chief Justice Lorie Gildea stepping down ~ Fox News 9

It will be a long time before a Republican governor appoints a Supreme Court Justice. Minnesota Republicans are more interested in fighting RINOs instead of Democrats.

  2. The Esme Murphy touch was chuckle-worthy. Nice. And I see you’ve answered my question from yesterday as to whether Wally is part of the decision-making team or just a mouthpiece. Also very nice.

And a Fluffy comment. Man, this post has everything!

  3. This is Father’s Day weekend coming up.
Fathers, support your daughters. They deserve the same autonomy over their body as you or your sons.

  4. When wouid it have been no longer morally acceptable for your grandfather’s daughter to no longer “exercise bodily autonomy” by aborting you?

  5. All cultures are equally valid therefore it is wrong to insist fathers force daughters into Licencious Liberal Culture instead of Fervent Fundamentalist Muslim Culture.

Besides this is June when all right-thinking people celebrate men wearing dresses, not fathers teaching daughters to be strong independent women.

Remember to fly your freak flag Monday. The new state holiday.

  6. rAT squeaked: “ This is Father’s Day weekend coming up. Fathers, support your daughters.”

He means he helps his daughter up onto the Berkeley horse. So caring.

Then, surprisingly, rAT continued: “ They deserve the same autonomy over their body as you or your sons.”

Which means if rAT had any sons, he’d be plowing them, too. He’s an equal opportunity degenerate.

  7. “ Remember to fly your freak flag Monday. The new state holiday.”

Wish I had a couple slaves I could deprive of the celebration. I bet I could buy a couple at the border.

  8. Say rAT?

    Check it out:

Fathers day: Same energy for weak, leftist bugmen whose slag humps flushed their sons down Dr. Mengele’s toilet, black kids and defeated Natives.

    “Trail of tears”

  9. rAT, how many of your sons has your thot ER nurse daughter flushed out of her?

  10. I saw this earlier today. Proof positive that Islamophobia is a “problem”, as described by brain dead DemoCommies. Incidentally, look for Dearborn to follow suit. They also have a large Muslim population and a number of them being elected officials.

  11. The thread title is “Off Script.” Proving the design limitations of an AI powered by bile, ChatGFY interprets the meaning as “off topic.”

  12. Emery-“fathers, support your daughters…”
Liberals, support women. Don’t let males compete in women’s sporting events.
As usual, Emory can’t see the forest for the trees….

  13. I wonder if Mitch’s script is accurate, or if things are worse than he suggests?

Flanigan: What’s on the agenda for today?

Martin (reading): Housing undocuments immigrants in private homes.

Carroll: Whose stupid idea is that? Nobody will go for that. We can’t do that.

Martin (holding up paper): The DNC Central Committee, it’s top of the list of talking points illustrating how hateful Texas and Florida are, for bussing immigrants to sanctuary cities.

Flannigan: And they want us to take the lead? Why us, we aren’t getting any of the immigrants.

Martin: No, New York took the lead. The Mayor wants to pay private citizens to house undocumentd immigrants.

Carrol: Oooh, New York is doing it? What a great idea. Why aren’t we doing it? How much will it cost?

Martin: That’s the best part. Remember those changes to the Tenants Rights Law we made last year? Turns out, landlords can’t evict tenants simply because they aren’t paying the rent. We pay the homeowner for a month to get the immigrants into the homes, then we quit paying but the homeowners can’t evict the immigrants. Simple and cheap!

Morillo: If we’re paying homeowners, doesn’t that make them state employees? They should pay union dues, deducted from the payment.

Messinger: Enough talk. The DNC has made its decision. So let it be written. So let it be done.

  14. The following week . . .

Flanagan: What’s on the agenda for today?

Martin (reading): Indicting Brad Finstad so he can’t run for Congress again.

Carroll: Whose stupid idea is that? Nobody will go for that. We can’t do that.

Martin (holding up paper): The DNC Central Committee, it’s top of the list of talking points explaining how to prevent Republican candidates from beating us at the polls. Cuts down on the number of fake ballots we need to print.

Flannagan: And they want us to take the lead on prosecuting our political opponents? Won’t that make us look like some Third World banana republic?

Martin: No, New York took the lead. The grand jury indicted Trump for settling a case out of court.

Carroll: Oooh, New York is doing it? What a great idea. Why aren’t we doing it?

Flannagan: What are we arresting him for?

Martin: Racist endangerment. One of his staffers accused two Black men of robbing him at gunpoint after the Congressional Charity Baseball Game, which puts them at risk of being shot by police like the tens of thousands of other innocent Black youth gunned down by haters and racists.

Specht: Hands up! All Cops Are Bastards!

Morillo: Wait, I thought we had rights to violence at that game. No scabs!

Flanagan: Who’s going to indict him? His district is MAGA country, all those deplorable little people bitterly clinging to their guns and Bibles.

    Carroll: Didn’t Walz win there?

Flanagan: Shhh, don’t say that name. Last thing we need is him bumbling around in here before we’ve decided what he’s going to do. He only won because he lied about everything he believed. But still, who’s going to get the indictment?

Martin: Keith Ellison will handle it. He’s still got that list of lawyers who helped railroad Chauvin. Should be a snap.

Messinger: Enough talk. The DNC has spoken. So let it be written. So let it be done.

  15. In the meantime, they are not coming for your gun, nosireebob! No way, no how, that is just conspiracy talk! And weaponizing (literally) IRS has its consequences:

It Begins: 20 Heavily Armed IRS and ATF Agents Raid Great Falls Gun Store, Seize Firearm Purchase Records

  16. This is a poignant and timely reminder that the truth emerges from piecing together nuggets of reliable information and not the distorted field of reality that the likes of Trump and far right media try to create with the help of their cronies.

For most of Trump’s acts, he was either caught on tape doing them (like announcing he knew he shouldn’t be sharing the documents because he never went through the process of declassifying them and because he was no longer president), or openly admitted he did them (like the fact he took the boxes of classified documents and kept them at Mar-a-Lago instead of designated government facilities where they belonged by law).

For this particular crime alone, he should never be voted into power again. For the January 6 terrorist coup attempt alone, he should never be voted into power again. Having done both, no one should ever vote for him again.

So, listen, Republicans: do you have anyone else, anyone at all, who you can support for office?

  17. The troll, who STILL believes that Trump conspired with Putin to steal the 2016 election from Hillary, is giving a lecture on the best way to discover the truth.
    Absolutely hilarious.

  18. Richard Nixon was the best president of the 20th Century. He was the first to detect the swamp. And though he failed against them, he did what he could do at the time.

If Trump was 1/4 the leader Nixon was, DC would be a smoking ruins. He had everything he needed; he just didn’t know how to use it.

  19. Richard Nixon was the best president of the 20th Century

Well. It’s been a long time since I heard anyone try to argue that. Can’t say I agree, but there are similarities between the Nixon and Trump years that are interesting.

I don’t think either man truly realized how much the DemoCommies hated them and would do anything to get rid of them. Watergate was just as contrived as the whole Steele dossier et al and just as much promoted by a DemoCommie media.

  20. Well. It’s been a long time since I heard anyone try to argue that.

Well, why is it that it takes a Dhimmicrap to start wars and Rethuglicans to finish them? Hot and cold. Nixon had issues, but as far as governing, especially foreign policy, was one of the best. His biggest fault was to cave to hippies and not finish the war once it was won, instead just packing up shop and leaving.

  21. Fetterman introduced Biden at a press conference today.
It went about as well as you would expect.
I think the D’s are playing a very dangerous game. They want Trump to be the GOP nominee because they believe that Biden can beat him again. Quite reasonable.
Except Trump can beat Harris. And Harris is not just a heartbeat away from the presidency, she is one stroke, one grotesque public gaffe, one cardiac event or cancer diagnosis from being the Dems 2024 nominee.
About 1% of senior fall incidents result in a broken hip. A history of seniors falling is a good predictor of death in people Biden’s age.

  22. FL hater & gun grabber sentenced to 15 months for threatening Congresswoman Lauren Boebert.
    https://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/radical-anti-gun-florida-man-gets-15-months-for-threatening-pro-gun-congresswoman/

Because the MSM would have you believe that the only people who get death threats are saintly Progressives, here are the tweets that the guy, Matthew Comiskey, addressed to Boebert:

Aug. 31, 2021: “If I ever saw Lauren I’d be glad to
take her out and go to prison. Would be job well
    done,’

Sept. 8, 2021: “Don’t worry Lauren, someone is
coming soon to show your face the 2nd
amendment in practice with a copper jacket.
    Enjoy.

Sept. 15, 2021: “Someone needs to put Lauren
down like a sick dog. She is a true waste of life!
Someone exercise their 2nd amendment right to
her face! Since the @CIA is a failure and @FBI is
incompetent at charging her for being a terrorist
it’s time to do it ourselves! Pew pew Laurren.”

Sept. 17, 2021: “I got my 2nd amendment tool all
ready to destroy Laurren’s face! Hopefully in fron
    of her kids.”

Sept. 17, 2021: “Don’t come to Florida us libs have
big guns here and we stand out (sic) ground. Take
    you down like Trayvon.”

  23. jpa, I wouldn’t mind if you got into some examples of how Nixon was one of the best.

  24. At a weekly meeting early in December:

Flanigan: What’s on the agenda for today?

Martin (reading): Building concentration camps to hold Republicans.

Carroll: Whose stupid idea is that? Nobody will go for that. We can’t do that.

Martin (holding up paper): The DNC Central Committee. They’re worried about the election since Biden is obviously senile, Harris is a blithering idiot, and it’s too late to switch candidates. We painted ourselves into a corner and can’t afford to print enough ballots to steal the election again. The only hope is to prevent Republicans from voting at all.

Flannigan: And they want us to take the lead? Why us? We’re at no risk. Minnesota is solidly Blue.

Martin: No, New York took the lead. The Justice Department will declare Republicans are domestic terrorists and the Governor will declare a state of emergency which justifies pre-emptive relocation and confinement.

Carrol: Oooh, New York is doing it? What a great idea. Why aren’t we doing it?

Flanigan: Lock up our political opponents – is that even legal?

Martin: There’s precedent. FDR, Peace Be Upon Him, interned American citizens of Japanese descent during World War II. And Governor Wa . . .

    Flanigan: DON’T SAY IT.

Martin: I mean, The Governor Who Shall Not Be Named, locked down the entire state for two years over a bad case of the flu. Different prisoners, same idea.

Morillo: Brilliant. The contractors who get the bids to build the camps, and the state employees hired to staff them, all pay union dues which get laundered back to the DFL. It’s a win-win.

Martin: And with so few Republican votes, we’ll easily be able to stuff enough fake ballots in the machines to win handily.

Messinger: Silence! The DNC has spoken. So let it be written. So let it be done.

  25. jdm, getting out of Vietnam was one of them. My family being able to crawl from under the iron curtain is another, maybe a bit personal but there were 100s of thousands of us who were saved by Nixon policies. Opening relations with China. SALT treaty. Ending the draft. Domestically, it was not bad either but has to be viewed from the viewpoint of that time, not today’s. For example, at that time, OSHA and EPA made sense – who knew back then they would turn into fascists? Title XI. Desegregation. Revising social security net. Again, now these seem like progressive policies but back then one could argue they were necessary.

  26. It’s like Big has a drone fly on the wall. I think those are actual transcripts.

  27. “My four-year-old was reading the Unabomber’s Manifesto when he turned to me gravely and asked, “Daddy, why did Ted Kaczynski, Cormac McCarthy, and Silvio Berlusconi all die the same week?” And when I told him “Because liberalism has alienated modern men,” he started to cry” – NYT pitchbot

  28. Nixon created “Project Independence” with the goal being our country achieving self-sufficiency of energy by 1980. Fed investment in energy R&D doubled between 1973 to 1976, and resulted in revolutionary progress in oil exploration and extraction.

Nixon created OSHA and the EPA, which were, of course weaponized by Carter.

His foreign policy prowess and success are known by all, so I shall not rehash any, but that he ended the first Military/Industrial war in IndoChina, and ended the draft that had supplied contractors the raw meat they needed to keep the dolllars flowing.

10/10 he’d negotiate a cease fire with the Russians, and get the criminal Zelensky BTFO.

He still holds the record for the widest popular vote margin in any US presidential election.

    Nixon was a serious man.

  29. JDM, Thompson had just been released early in Cali, for running down a young, White woman.

10/10 he will be announcing his exploratory campaign for MN Rep next year.

  30. It’s fathers day, rAT. Does your ER nurse/daughter have a special present ready for you?

  31. 30% of the buildings in DT Mpls are empty; the streets are empty; businesses are literally a caravan of exit.

The city leadership is taking the opportunity to raise the fees for city owned parking ramps….no one will notice, see?

  32. While the country vociferously rejects the degenerate’s attack on kids, Minnesotans double down by naming the bull dyke in charge of genital mutilation at Children’s Hospital as Grand Master of the Big Buttsex parade downtown.

Maybe she can borrow the bullet proof Popemobile, since the Pope is holding the official RCC Pride celebration down in the Vatican catacombs this year.

  33. More breaking news from Minnesota’s newspaper of record:

“These veterinarians are honored to do one thing — put ailing pets out of their misery

Veterinarians who specialize in at-home pet euthanasia find satisfaction in helping animals and owners”

    Jfc… can y’all just stop?

  34. Holy shit; id completely forgotten:

“ Parking lot party shooting leaves 1 dead and 22 people hurt in suburban Chicago”

    Happy Juneteenth y’all!!

Any coincidence they made it the same day as Father’s Day? LMAO

  35. Does “blather” include non-sequitors, or is that different category of nonsense? Emery has truly reached the Dog Gone level of commenting, where his take on whatever is being discussed is so far off base, you can’t even tell what he is commenting on. Maybe some sort of schizophrenia or some other dissociative disorder?

  36. The theory – I think from Pig Bodine – that Emery is a group effort seems pretty plausible these days (although the output isn’t quite as addled as Gog Done, unless she’s worked on improving her style).

It’s just that I detest single-voice echo chambers.

If someone wants to recruit some better progs to sound off, I’m all ears.
