Minnesota is transferring his first transgender female to the Shakopee women’s prison.

But I’m not here to talk about the obvious issue.

No – there are two issues that go way beyond putting (deep breath) bio-men into women’s prisons.

Stay In Your Lane: Shakopee is referred to as a “women’s. prison”.

Is the MN Department of Corrections a bunch of biologists?

Do are they experts in what “women” are? Like this PhD?

Which leads us to another, inarguably more serious problem.

Pronouns Pronouns Pronouns: What’s in the world “Prison?”

The word “Son”.

Since we don’t know the genders of the incarcerated (indeed, the incarcerated themselves may not know at any given time), it’s time to change the name of the facility to “Shakopee Prixyn”.

(Anyone want to check and see if the DFL puts all of this on their legislative agenda next session?)

  1. KSTP left out (but Alpha News reported) that the guy’s getting a vaginoplasty (also paid for by the state), so it’s not quite like a rape fantasy come true. Maybe the nasty little dick will back out of the vaginoplasty, I don’t know.

That DOC Commissioner Paul Schnell sounds like a real winner.

  2. So many experts on trans issues.

In fact, there are more experts on trans issues, than there are actual trans people.

  3. I don’t think it’s all that complicated. Just more of the endless culture war grievance wheel. The right wing looked for a vulnerable population with little political and financial capital. In other words, they are picking on the weakest group they could find, because that’s what real men do I guess.

  4. A lying coward lectures SITD readers on what “real men” would do.

  5. In other words, they are picking on the weakest group they could find, because that’s what real men do I guess.

Sounds like you are describing the groomers in their quest to corrupt children.

  6. But, hey, immigration, that non-problem. Right wing media are really excited to tell you about how bad it is.

  7. On the light side, the inmate is getting three hots, a cot, and a twat. What comes next? It’s got to rhyme.

Seriously, with all that’s going on with our society today, it seems that criminal justice has gone full circle, and we’re a step more barbarous than we were a few centuries back–when we would castrate rapists, but generally did not offer the procedure to other offenders. As Ya’akov Smirnov likes to say, “What a country!”.

Also seriously, given that the rates of mental illness and suicide persist at astonishingly high levels among the transgender population, it strikes me that we ought to maybe, just maybe, consider the likelihood that what we’re doing isn’t helping. The Swedish study of a few years back that found that if you castrated 19 men, you might help one of them make it through life without psychiatric care, stands as testimony to this as well. (somebody seriously needs to review concepts like “ROI”, methinks)

And Emery, on what planet does the trans community in the U.S. qualify as marginalized? Are you serious? You can say this during “Pride Month” without any sense of shame at your lie?

(side note; when do the other six deadly sins get their months? I nominate December for Greed, January for Envy, February for Lust, April for wrath, July for Sloth, and of course November for Gluttony)

  8. Sounds like a very troubled individual. Drug and alcohol offenses, nothing violent unless it was plead down.

  9. There is a much bigger issue here than an ugly fairy godmother in training..

    It goes like this:

“Oh”, the DOC will say, “we had to transfer him/her and toss in a few hundred grand for good measure, cause THE COURTS ORDERED US TO!!.”

In other words, an “activist” group teamed up with an “activist” law firm to shop an “activist” judge to convince the “activist” lawyers for the state to legislate another outrage by means of sue and settle.

  10. JDM: Maybe the nasty little dick will back out of the vaginoplasty, I don’t know.

Am i supposed to take that literally? My imagination can’t unsee that now.

  11. Betty, it was all harmless. Replace “nasty little dick” with “unlikable creep” if you prefer. Backing out of “the operation” is just the thing I would expect of someone like him.

  12. BikeBubba thanks for injecting some irreverent humor into the sorry state of affairs.

  13. In other words, they are picking on the weakest group they could find, because that’s what real men do I guess.

Guys with sex offender records are picking women’s prisons. So I think that qualifies.

Although that’s not what you’re getting at, because you’re Emery.

  14. I hope that the inmates at Shakopee Women’s facility counter suit the state. How many of them were traumatized by sexual or domestic violence? I’ll bet they’re thrilled to welcome that pervert into their midst. Of course, Bot Boy doesn’t care, do you jack weed? And hey. How many “poor illegal aliens just searching for a better life” have you taken in to show your support for your dementia addled basement dweller? You are nothing but a hypocritical coward!

  15. It’s useful to divide criminals into two classes: violent felons and sad sacks. Lusk seem to be the second type. Just kind of a failure, unable to play by the rules the rest of us follow (mostly). His record shows a handful of DUI’s, leading the cops on a car chase once. Drug charges for possessing enough meth or coke to get him sentenced as a dealer, but not in amounts large enough to make him anything but a small time dealer, prolly using a credit card to get enough cash to buy a few thousand dollars worth of product & trying to sell it to junkies he knows. The letter he wrote to the judge who sentenced him for his 2019 drug conviction is classic narcissism. He admits guilt, but he only sold drugs (which he does not quite admit too) because he couldn’t figure out any other way to make money. The letter was whiny in the sense that he talked about his own problems due to his transgenderism in depth, and never mentioned the harm he has caused others. He’s had “breast augmentation surgery” but not bottom surgery, which probably does not make life in a male prison fun for him.
But if you want to believe that gender dysphoria is a mental disorder closely associated with behavorial disorders, his history makes a great test case. The guy just ain’t right in the head, IMHO. He’s on female hormones because he wants to be on female hormones, so he is almost certainly impotent. His craziness and his physical strength are the largest hazards to the female inmates at Shakopee.

  16. Babylon Bee..”Historians stumped how kids throughout history didn’t commit suicide despite having no access to gender surgery…”

  18. I love it when the resident leftist has to resort to petty insults to “make a point”.

My three year old granddaughter states his position just as eloquently: “Oh yea? Well you’re just a meanie!”

Thanks for the comic relief Emory.

  19. Live and let live. Oh and can we we build our restrooms with stall doors that go all the way to the floor and no gaps. That should resolve the issue of conservatives looking under the doors to see what gender kids are.

  20. Upon the stage of life, a man doth tread,
A braggart full of sound and empty wit.
His tongue hath speed, yet intellect hath fled,
He blathers on, in folly he’s commit.

With every breath he takes, more wind he wastes,
His words, like leaves in autumn, without worth.
His mind, a barren land of gusty gusts,
Yet, in his thought, he is the sage of earth.

The more he speaks, the less is understood,
His hubris blinds him to his own disgrace.
No sense in sight, if only quiet he could,
A peace, a pause, a moment of calm grace.

Yet, though he bloats with false self-consequence,
    Silent wisdom shines in eloquence.

  21. Of Emery, that boastful man, sing, Mammuthus,
And his epic tale of bluster, sound and fury,
Who, from his post of humble silence cast,
Did rise to heights of grand self-glorification.

A talker more than thinker, Emery was,
His words, a tempest, storming without cease.
To what end? We may wonder, for, alas,
His blather bore no wisdom, nor brought peace.

He spoke of deeds and triumphs grand and great,
Of victories won and battles yet to come.
Yet, his tales, like shadows, lost their weight,
In the cold light of truth, they came undone.

No Heaven lost, nor Paradise gained,
Emery’s reign was but hot air, unchained.

Through Chaos and the darkness of the void,
    His voice echoed, blaring, uncontrolled.
As if to fill the silence, he deployed
Tales spun of gossamer and fool’s gold.

With every uttered word, a world he sought,
An Eden of his own, built on loud sound.
But like Icarus, too close to the sun he got,
And fell, his truth laid bare, his lies unwound.

And thus Emery, the blowhard, held his court,
In the void between the truth and his report.

  22. Oh and can we we build our restrooms with stall doors that go all the way to the floor and no gaps. That should resolve the issue of conservatives looking under the doors to see what gender kids are.

A conservative who preys on the weak is rightly ostracized by his/her community.

A “progressive” who preys on the weak is celebrated as “courageous”.

  23. Reading Homer in your retirement, UMMP? Or Milton? Not bad at all….

Emery, do consider, please, the costs incurred as formerly female-only spaces would need to be modified for the small proportion of people who are actually “trans”. Think also of other populations that might come into locker rooms, bathrooms, and the like; that population that is, or ought to be, on Megan’s List–and the horror of female inmates at seeing that the type of person who’d victimized them….was their neighbor or even their cellmate.

  24. It not me, it’s chatgpt!
If you think Emery is here to make good-faith comments, you couldn’t be more wrong, BB.

  25. ChatGPT4 is pretty good at some things. I asked it to write a Shakespearean sonnet about my battery powered chainsaw. It tokk it it about ten seconds to come up with this:

“Ode to the Untethered Power: A Chainsaw’s Tale”

Upon this stage of life, a beast I hold,
A modern Pegasus, in steel encased.
Thine energy, not by fire stoked, but bold,
In currents of electron’s dance embraced.

Thou buzzeth loud, a hornet’s angry song,
Yet in thy wake, the toughest oak doth fall.
Thy power stored, not in sinew strong,
But in thy heart, a battery, enthralled.

No cord dost tether thee, no gas inflame,
Thou art free as the lark at morning’s light.
Thy might tamed, not by yoke, but by name,
A chainsaw proud, in battery’s delight.

So sing, thou untamed beast of plastic and of steel,
To the quiet woods, thy electric roar is real.
