  1. It’s funny that they never make fun of or point out hypocritical Jews, like all of the elected DemoCommies. Ryan Winkler, Ron Latz, Frank Hornstein are the most egregious examples in the Minnesota clown castle, with Chucky Shumer, fat boy Jerry Nadler and rat bastard Jamie Raskin in the District of Crooks. If they wanted some good material, they should start with these scum balls.

  2. It would be refreshing to see other religions treated similarly. For example, Muslims depicted as terrorists is not much of a stretch, given incidents ranging from Hamline University to Charlie Hebdo to 9/11.

It would be even more refreshing to see Christians depicted going good. After every major disaster, some of the first people on the scene are Christian groups like Salvation Army and Samaritan’s Purse. I know, nowadays charitable groups are 501(c )(3) corporations for tax purposes, deductible donations and insulation from liability. But even the Red Cross started as a Christian group and what’s the harm in recognizing that Christians are far and away the most generous people in the world?

    Of course, that doesn’t support The Narrative, so . . . .

  3. not only TV shows but books too. I was reading a mystery about a serial killer. Guess what!! the killer was murdering women who had had abortions. I saw that a mile away and the book went into the dumpster. This is why I read old mysteries.

  4. Well, you have to identify the bad guy as being bad due to choices freely made.
It’s a cliche to say that white Christians are the only group that can be mocked and abused in the media, but it has to be some group.
I watch a lot of old TV and listen to a lot of old radio programs. There is some bigotry, but it is mostly paternalistic rather than hateful. The only group that is regularly demonized is Native Americans, and that has an air of the fantastic about it. Neither the writers or the actors seem to have actually ever set eyes on an honest-to-God Injun.
The bigotry of old television and radio shows was mostly bigotry by omission. There simply weren’t many depictions of non-white characters.
I would challenge you to find any identifiable group as demonized in the past as straight, white Christians, especially male Christians, are today.

I haven’t seen this since season 4 of “24”. This happened to be the first season of “24” that I watched. It blew my mind that they actually portrayed Middle-Easterners as out and out terrorists (I binged it shortly after the last episode was broadcast in May of 2005…right as Muslims were becoming the favored protected class at that moment).

After watching season 4 first, seasons 1 and 2 were anti-climactic.

  6. Bill C – and now Minneapolis has amended their sound ordinance to allow Muslims to broadcast calls to prayer five times a day. Those who complained about church bells once a week are going to have to learn to be more tolerant.

  7. “Jack Teixeira is white, male, christian, and anti-war. That makes him an enemy to the Biden regime. And he told the truth about troops being on the ground in Ukraine and a lot more, Ask yourself who is the real enemy? A young low level national guardsmen [sic]? Or the administration that is waging war in Ukraine, a non-NATO nation, against nuclear Russia without war powers?” ~ Marjorie Taylor Greene

What level of warped [I haven’t the vocabulary beyond this shocking statement] **** is going on in America? Taylor Greene is either really struggling with reality or has a really nice pay check from the Kremlin. Either way, the Republican Party is now properly toxic. Not just worrying for America but the world.

  8. Imagine the level of raging madness Emery must to threadjack this post so he can attack an uppity Christian Lady. Jesus.
More proof that Emery does not comment in good faith. His aim is not to comment on the post, or engage with other commenters, it is insert Democrat talking points into every SITD comment thread.

  9. (Bill Gleason’s protégé) Emery,

Speaking of toxicity your craven prevarications re: abortion do truly stand out. Now I know you’ve the vocabulary to address this directly.

Among so many other things you present yourself as an expert on the ethics of abortion so it should not be difficult for you to answer this question…
At what point in your mother’s pregnancy with you would it have become unacceptable for her to abort you?

As a bonus question where can I find the text in the Constitution that supports this claim you made:
“The Constitution before amendment said Clarence Thomas should be counted as 3/5ths of a person.”

  10. My thought was “What about the movie about Wilberforce?”, and then I looked it up, and it’s from 2006, and only grossed $33 million on a similar budget. And then you’ve got “Unbroken”, which grossed $163 million, so that’s better.

The thing that comes to mind is that these days, there are a few movies with great storylines that do OK, but Marvel and the like rule the roost. Hence you get a lot of caricatures, especially ones where politics tells you which caricatures you’ll get. But boy, if you start doing great stories again, there’s a lot of room for moviemakers to present Christians as they really are.

  11. Fluffy
insert Democrat talking points into every SITD comment thread.
that’s why I suggest that the Emery is a group of PAID political operatives, most likely AFSCME, MAPE, or the teachers union.

  12. Any progress with the Bodine/Berg Gala Fundraiser for crisis pregnancy and adoption services? Thought not ….

  13. Whichever one of the Emery collective typed that 10:45 tripe is the one who is warped. Baghdad Bob can’t hold a candle to the Emery collective.

  14. And so here we have a woman, a Congresswoman, advocating leaking of national security information, essentially supporting espionage against the United States of America. The word “Patriotic” is far right code for anti-government. It has been co-opted by people like Timothy McVeigh. Amon Bundy and the J6 mob.

  15. The caricatures are so absurd that it is hard to believe the producers, directors, and writers actually know any actual, practicing Christians.

  16. “Any progress with the Bodine/Berg Gala Fundraiser for crisis pregnancy and adoption services? Thought not ….”

Any explanation why the state’s record budget surplus cannot be stretched to cover this societal cost? Why do you hate women so much that you insist they kill their babies at taxpayer expense?

  17. Bigman

    Of course Emery hates women.

This ( I.V.G.) is what Emery and the rest of the misogynistic left is banking on; human eggs without the need for a woman (artificial uteruses are already being developed by animal sciences departments at universities)
    https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2023/04/24/the-future-of-fertility

Emery believes that when the new world order has fully blossomed women will serve no other purpose than Pleasure Drone™.

  18. Emery (Bill Gleason’s protégé);

Just waiting on a straight answer from you, you coward.

    Here’s that question again…

  19. (Bill Gleason’s protégé); Emery

Still terrified of the Struggle Session you will have to endure if you answer honestly?
    Here’s that question again…

You pathetic losers, you just can’t figure it out can you?

    Here’s that question again

  21. You could use this thread as an example of how a troll ioerates to disrupt a comment session.
    -Off topic response
-Refusal to engage with the content of the post or with other commenters.

  22. MMP- I find my browsing time is both greatly reduced and enhanced if I scroll right past an Dr. Strangelove image, and even those with Ukrainian flag icons.

  23. There seems to be a serious endeavor on the part of the Democrats to use “expansive interpretations” of various laws laws about election interference and civil rights to trump the First Amendment guarantee of free speech.
Hard to imagine anything more un-American. Contest our policies, criticize our voters, and the US Justice Department will bankrupt you or send you to jail, maybe both.

  24. As he delivered a sound smack to his ER nurse daughter on the Berkeley horse, rAT Emery squeaked: “Didn’t we found the United States to get away from this exact problem?”

No rAT. This country was founded to promote buttsex, child abuse and debauchery….as you well know.
