Inconvenient, Energy-Dense Fact

A friend of the blog emails:

I was at Pheasant Fest last week and the American Petroleum Institute had a booth. Not sure why, but I believe it’s because so many pipelines cross pheasant country.

Well I told the guys I want a tee shirt that says ” I like fossil fuels!”.

He told me, “That’s great! My idea was “The oil industry saved the whales!”

I’d take that shirt too

Someone get a business card to that guy.

  1. Inconvenient, “I told you so” dense fact::

“Ukraine Rocked By Corruption Scandal, Wave Of Top Officials Resign: Sports Cars, Mansions & Luxury Vacations As People Suffered”

“The Ukrainian government on Tuesday confirmed the resignation of multiple high ranking officials amid large-scale corruption allegations, in what’s being called the biggest mass resignation and graft scandal since the Russian invasion began.

Some dozen officials have quit their posts after a huge political shake-up over allegations and probes into cases ranging from bribery, to mismanagement of aid funds for purchasing food, to embezzlement, to driving expensive cars while common people suffer under wartime conditions.”

    💲LAVA UKRAINI!!! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🇺🇦 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🇺🇦
    (translation: ‘Send more money!”)

    Lol

  2. Time for Pedo Joe’s handlers to release their prepared gaslight memo for their black, 80IQ Lesbian mouthpiece to bungle.

“We just print the fiat currency. What they do with it is out of our hands….instead, let’s talk about the ADL’s successful defense against the White Supremacist “day of hate” that never happened on Saturday.”

  3. During all recent wars, the media had embedded reporters who documented everything.

But throughout the invasion of Ukraine, we’ve not seen one live report from the front. It’s always just a crumbled building, or a hole in the ground that some unnamed person assures us was a hospital full of children.

Zelensky can fly around the world, attending gala events; his wife can go shopping in Paris; Pedo Joe can fly into Kyiv to hand deliver more billions and leave, unmolested, but trust us; it’s brutal over there.

Lol….we’re not even getting a reach-around with this screwing.

  4. Blade.
And the Ukrainian Clown was basically calling Americans losers if they didn’t support sending him more money. Now we know why the DemoCommies didn’t want an independent audit and accountability clause proposed by the GOP on the last pallets of cash they approved while they were still in control. RINO Senators helped defeat it, too.

Regarding the on the ground reports, you’re totally correct! There is a saying in the broadcast media industry that if it bleeds, it leads. We have seen no mangled, dead and/or bloody Ukrainians through this whole scam. Even when Pedo Pete was visiting, a CNN reporter had been on site for over six hours and said that he heard no air raid sirens or other sounds of war, explosions, gunfire, etc. Once Pedo Pete arrived and more media was present, the sirens started wailing and distant gunfire was heard.

This is one big money laundering operation for the left, under the guise of defending Ukraine. Total gaslighting!

  5. One more thing.
I pointed this out last year, after the media kept playing this clip of an alleged maternity hospital that the Russians allegedly bombed. One of my customers, a Ukrainian from that area, told me that said “hospital” was actually an abandoned office building, that sat vacant for over ten years.

Both he and another native Ukrainian, just laugh at Zelinsky and told me early on not to believe even a tenth of what the media and their government masters are pushing.

  6. BH, the worst of it is, we will never know how much of that newly minted fiat currency has already made it’s way back into the coffers of the Uniparty, politicians pockets and various degenerate lobbyist groups that will use it to further harm us and our families. 10/10 it’s many millions.

    What fucking shit show.

  7. boss, you are obviously a Putin-loving monster… for pointing out the inconvenient truth. Like blackmailing turd Zelensky said, the war will continue until the last Uke.

  8. jpa, can you remember the last time the leadership of a country under invasion, fighting for their lives(!!!), were touring the rubble of “children’s hospitals” in luxury sports cars? lol

    Well, maybe Uday Hussein…..

No wonder no Western media wants to send film crews over there to document the devastation…they might get run down by Zelensky driving Jay Leno around in his Lambo! Hahahahaha

  9. Never been one to literally wear my politics.
People are starting to realize that there is no plan to replace fossil fuels with green energy. Instead there is a plan to make you use less energy. Since energy is a substitute for labor, this means that you will be poorer.
Anyway, facts are meaningless to the woke.
You & I might believe that the purpose of a discussion is to use evidence and reason to arrive a conclusion we can both accept as being True.
To the woke, all discussion is a discourse about power. Evidence and reason have nothing to with it. If I have power over you, I can make you agree with whatever I say is the truth.

  10. AIUMMP, I’ve seen estimates of *proven* natural gas reserves that stretch a hundreds of years. It’s also cheaper than produced electricity or oil, and burns way cleaner. You can already buy a conversion kit to run your car on CNG (Compressed Natural Gas).

But the WEF doesn’t want you to know that.

  11. The CIA has demonstrated how our leaders deal with natural gas pipelines when people get too uppity. 💥

  12. I give scientific talks at conferences and I am starting to get pressure from organizers to turn down the rhetoric when I point out the obvious, that science, logic and reason had been supplanted by groupthink. They are taking all the fun out of my presentations! And yet, after the presentations, I get plenty of people who come over, look around and whisper, “Thank you for pointing out the obvious, it had to be said”, and slink away… like the old lady in Blazing Saddles.

  13. Something else to put on a t-shirt:

“Alaska is cleaner after Exxon Valdez ran aground”
“If you like your gas stove, you can keep your gas stove, as long as it is electric”
    “Who controls Bartertown?”
    “Poverty for all through electrification”
“If you want to boil water, just find a nearest windmill, purse your lips and blow”
“If you want to drive your EV, get a diesel generator so you can charge it”

  14. I listen to the Commentary Magazine podcast so you don’t have to.
Today the discussion was about China, and what the US should do if the Chinese agree to supply Russia with munitions.
Send the Ukes F16s! Say the neocons at Commentary. Keep escalating!
I am not sure what these f16s are supposed to do, and neither are the Commentary people. Escort squadrons of Ukranian bombers over Russian territory? Engage Russian fighters at mach 2 over Macho Grande?
Whatever. Just send them the f16’s!

  15. For reference, the recent spate of firings in Ukraine was initiated after a few million bucks worth of corruption was found. In neighboring Russia, the oligarchs don’t even bother with that kind of penny-ante fraud.

Just sayin’. I know a lot of you have your minds made up already, but certain facts are important here.

Another point of reference is that the definition of “luxury car”, according to a source I’m sure Kremlin Tom would approve (CMIO), is a price exceeding twenty thousand euros. In other words, a used VW Golf qualifies in their “minds” as a luxury car.

  16. Lukashenko is visiting Xi in China feb 28-mar2.
I am sure that means nothing.

  17. Bikebubble drooled: ” In neighboring Russia, the oligarchs don’t even bother with that kind of penny-ante fraud.”

Really, Mr. Bubble? That’s quite disturbing; I wasn’t aware! Oh, my…

How much federal fiat currency are we sending to Russia? Are your neo-con pals in Congress aware of this fraud?

  18. Bikebubble bowdlerized:

“In other words, a used VW Golf qualifies in their “minds” as a luxury car.”

Oh? Really? That’s not what CNN has been reporting, Mr. Bubble…

“In particular, the deputy head of the Servant of the People faction in the Verkhovna Rada, Andrey Motovilovets, was found using the new Audi Q7, after the Russian invasion. The car was issued in May 2022. Prices for such cars start from $80,000.

MP Artem Dmytruk, who was expelled from the Servant of the People and now is a member of the Restoration of Ukraine parliamentary group, has switched to using a new Audi A8.

Olha Vasylevska-Smaglyuk, who is a member of the Servant of the People party, was found to be driving a Jaguar I-Pace, a car produced since 2018. The price of the car in the secondary market starts at $50,000.”

The “Servant of the People party” is Zelensky’s front group.

The “Restoration of Ukraine” graft group was created to give Zenelsky a place to give his cronies an address to receive their cash when he is forced to give the impression they have been “purged” from the People’s party.

How much of our federal fiat currency are they sending you for your work, Mr. Bubble?

  19. China is sitting back, eating popcorn and enjoying the show as Russia and Weimerica drain one another’s supply of weapons.

As has been noted here earlier (by me), we’ve sent 30% of our stockpile of rockets and antitank weapons to Ukraine…and they have been expended (by people not driving luxury Volkswagens around). Further shipments come from our ready reserve….they are not spares, and it will take years to replace what we’ve given away already.

Nitwits like Bikebubble and his neo-con troupe of dancing clowns think this is super duper.

    Personally, IDGAF.

  20. Yes, 30% of Javelins to Ukraine, and 50% of Russia’s functional armor is ready for recycling. Zero U.S. casualties. China, whose best tank is more or less a stretch version of the T-72, is no doubt taking notice, as Taiwan is busily procuring infantry-held rockets like the Javelin as well. So whatever type 99 tanks actually run the gantlet of the Straits of Taiwan and make it to shore have a rough row to hoe, including pretty much the same autoloader that makes the T-72 act like a “jack in the box” when hit in Ukraine.

Now it may be that China is willing to, as you claim, destroy Taiwan’s cities to intimidate them into submission, but all in all, I’d have thought that if you wanted to rule a region, you might not want it to be all rubble. At the very least, the difficulties of crossing the Straits of Taiwan ought to give China pause. Even the worst despots don’t want to confront their own populations after sending hundreds of thousands of young men to an early (and watery) grave.

  21. “50% of Russia’s functional armor is ready for recycling”

Oh…well maybe you should tell the Uke’s, Mr. Bubble…if you can catch one…I hear those Audi A8’s rusty, old VW Golf’s are pretty fast.

“Putin ‘massing 1,800 tanks and 700 aircraft’ for new Ukraine assault”

“Ukrainian ministers are fearful Vladimir Putin will go ahead with his ‘Zero Day assault plan’ as he stocks up on ammunition and manpower”

    https://www.independent.co.uk/world/russia-tanks-aircraft-ukraine-b2279724.html

  22. Say, Bikebubble?

Say you’re Putin. You’re watching Joe Biden shitting his diapers and promising to send a shit load of advanced antitank weapons to the mob boss on your Western border.

Do you send your nice new T90 and T14 tanks in there? Or do you send in your antiques (you have a shit load of them), let your enemies expend all those fancy Javelin’s and then send your shit in to finish the job?

  23. Say, Kremlin Tom, you do know that Putin has actually sent some of those T90s in, getting several of them destroyed and others captured. Right?

My take is that if Putin has an ounce of humanity in him–and he seems to have decisively disproven that with his handling of the Kursk disaster (refusing aid to save sailors), his use of chemical weapons in Syria, his assaults on civilians in Syria, Ukraine, and Chechnya, etc..–he would do what it takes to win the war while minimizing his own army’s casualties. That means sending your best equipment so you don’t get your people killed.

By saying the opposite, you show yourself to be a sick, sick man.

  24. Actually, Bikebubble, I don’t know that and neither do you. Because the only news coming out of Ukraine is on blogs run by the Crips and the Bloods themselves. And by the official news services of the Crops and the Bloods. It’s all bullshit.

Why isn’t CNN on the ground, embedded with Crip squads, Mr. Bubble? How about FOX; why isn’t Jeraldo reporting from the turret of a captured T90 tank?

Because it’s all bullshit, designed to keep idiots believing and the cash flowing. You’re an idiot, Mr. Bubble; that’s harsh, bit there it is.

  25. Yes, Kremlin Tom, when what comes out on CNN doesn’t say what you want it to say, you deny it. I get it, you’re on payroll with the FSB or Russian Pravda.
