Nothing To See Here

Hunter Biden paid $50K a month to rent a house he claimed he owned:

Hunter Biden claimed he paid $49,910 a month to live at President Joe Biden’s Delaware residence where classified documents were discovered, a document shows.

The file, labeled “background screening test,” shows Hunter Biden lived in the president’s Wilmington, Delaware, residence between March 2017 and February 2018. Hunter Biden also claimed to “own” the property, according to the document.

The document was originally discovered on Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop, according to the Washington Examiner, and was reshared on Twitter by the New York Post’s Miranda Devine.

Of course it’s money laundering. It won’t be confirmed until long after Biden has left office, but STFU. This is a payment to the Big Guy.

My only question: how will Big Leftymedia limber up for the logical and factual gymnastics they need to do to bury this?

  1. Missing necessary context. What was the purpose of the document? How do we know the data is accurate?
Never trust a junkie to tell you the truth.

  2. I am becoming persuaded that the string pullers in the Dem Party are preparing to throw Joe Biden under the bus since he’s all but declared his candidacy for 2024. Hence, limited coverage of the classified document story appears in formerly stalwart Dem Party propaganda organs (NYT, WaPo, CNN, CBS, etc). Not just Fox News anymore. If he doesn’t take the hint, expect more direct action to occur.

  3. A limited hangout, golfdoc. What is not being revealed is much worse.

Victor Marchetti, a former special assistant to the Deputy Director of the CIA […] described the tactic this way in 1978 …

“… a favorite and frequently used gimmick of clandestine professionals. When their veil of secrecy is shredded and they can no longer rely on a phony cover story to misinform the public, they resort to admitting, sometimes even volunteering, some of the truth while still managing to withhold the key and damaging facts in the case. The public, however, is usually so intrigued by the new information that it never thinks to pursue the matter further.”

  4. … sorry, golfdoc, I agree with your point. I was adding something to the post itself.

[soon, the caffeine will kick in and I’ll make sense]

  5. Does anyone else find the fact that the document “discoveries” are being conducted by Pedo Pete’s lawyas and staffers and not the FBI, strange and hypocritical? Oh! Wait! Rhetorical question.

  6. OK, as a former landlord, about 1%/month is typical rent, which would get Hunter to about the level of these payments on a home that’s north of three million bucks. So somebody is coaching him here to have plausible deniability. The key here is whether Joe was also living there at the time. If he was, then you’ve got a good case for money laundering.

But that noted, key issue is that we seem to have had a drug addict with loose morals living in a building with classified documents, and mysteriously, the National Archives seems to have had no clue they were there. So either they were stolen from the Archives a la Sandy Burglar and nobody noticed or cared, or they were illegally copied. To me, that may be a bigger scandal then the fact that Joe apparently had them illegally.

  7. The document came from H Biden’s worst time as a junkie. If he was questioned about the document under oath he could probably say that he has no memory of ever seeing it before & where the number $49,910″ came from.
We all know the truth, don’t we? Slow Joe thought he was out of politics forever as of January 21st, 2017, and he began to cash in.
The drug addict son, with whom Slow Joe shared some bank accounts and investments, means that Slow Joe can’t be quite certain what kind of documents might surface at any time.
How were these documents discovered? Biden’s personal lawyers were cleaning his office & garage? Beware of stories that begin in the middle.

  8. if fake, ignore it.

If real, confirms the bidens are crooks which we already knew and about which nothing will be done, and therefore ignore it.

    either way, ignore it

instead buy more ammo and spend more time at the shooting range

when civilization collapses and the zombies come for your
supply of stored food and your family
    you’re going to need it

  9. Just in:

Hunter Biden’s monthly rent of $49,910 matches a rental deposit at the House of Sweden related to the Biden family business venture with the infamous CEFC China Energy Co.

Nothing to see here… move along sheople. It is just Big Guy dealings, it’s not like his is Trump and no mean tweets!

  10. Here is the plan (my opinion only) with Xiden’s classified materials issue and all these ‘random’ stories suddenly seeing the light of day:

Sitting (and cognitive) lame duck president gets taken down by secret documents in house. Now Sideshow Donald certainly cannot run for president because HE had classified documents in house. That’s their positive spin. All chess moves.

The democrats do not want Xiden any longer. He made it past the midterms and served his purpose. The complicit RINO uniparty republicans will cheer this on, as well.

    It’s Win-Win.

  11. I would be happy to see Trump sit out 2024.
Biden himself seems to be convinced that he, and only he, can beat Trump in 2024. But 2024 is not 2020. Biden won’t be able to hide in his basement in 2024, and I am pretty sure that any GOP opponent will outcampaign Biden until his cognitive decline is obvious even to the most ignorant democrats, and certainly to independents.
The problem is what to do with Kamala. Biden can’t fire her, she was elected by the American people, not appointed by Biden.

  12. Yes, we acknowledge that Hunter Biden was a hot mess. At the end of the day, he inflicted a lot of angst on himself and his family.

I simply do not understand the double standards at play here. Trump and his children flaunted the laws of this country, and there are few (if any) repercussions to them. He didn’t get millions of dollars in real estate loans after meeting bankers in the oval office (Kushner). He didn’t get Chinese patents because his father gave him a job in the oval office (Ivanka). He didn’t get a portfolio of billions of dollars for which he was entirely unqualified because of his job in the oval office (Kushner).

This whole Hunter Biden ordeal will be just like Benghazi, but dumber. The GOP will obsess over it (I expect the hearings to last the entire Congressional term) because it riles up the base, but it will have little bearing on the wider public — in fact, given that a pretty large number of Americans have a family member who struggles with addiction and the many ways it ruins your life, it may end up backfiring on the GOP to train their sights on a troubled individual in order to besmirch his father.

  13. You don’t even know what Hunter got or didn’t get. It’s been obfuscation from the left and the media (PTR) since it was exposed.

  14. Emery

You still have failed to answer this question.
When did your life becomes something other than chattel for your mother to dispose of at her whim?

  15. I don’t mind the GOP going after Hunter Biden, provided they look away from Jared Kushner receiving billions from the Middle East for his business dealings.

What I want to know about Hunter Biden is why the Saudis gave Jared Kushner two billion dollars…

  16. Since no one on the left is opposed to any of the Trump family being investigated, have at it, shouldn’t be hard to find someone to take it on. Make your case.

  17. Emery, what you’ve got there is a tu quoque “you too” fallacy. Care to try an actual argument? Also strong patterns of post hoc, ergo propter hoc.

The left argues that something’s amiss with deals that Jared Kushner got. OK, fine. But Jared Kushner isn’t a crack addict who got sweetheart deals quickly following his dad’s diplomatic trips to those countries. I think the gap between Kushner’s qualifications and his reality is far smaller than that between Hunter Biden’s qualifications and his reality, don’t you think? Given that the proper job for a crack addict who patronizes prostitutes is “jail inmate”?

  18. @BB — I’m confused…what office in the Biden administration does Hunter Biden hold? Oh, none? Hmmmm. So Hunter didn’t file his taxes on time and had a debt due he could not pay? He eventually filed the returns and paid his taxes.

Republicans on the House Oversight Committee said they had evidence “demonstrating deliberate, repeated deception of the American people, abuse of the executive branch for personal gain, use of government power to obstruct the investigation” and more. Who does this sound like?

The GOP investigating shady dealings around the world engineered by Biden’s son is so, so ironic. Shady is the GOP brand (in the meantime, serial liar George Santos sits in the House of Representatives, a newly minted GOP star).

Looking forward to two years of absolutely nothing getting done and having to listen to Jim Jordan screech on TV.

  19. Emery, Emery, Emery.
You so desperately want to see this as a Hunter Biden thing when it is not. It’s all about Slow Joe Biden. Nobody cares if Hunter goes to jail or not.
Emery’s obsession with Trump’s kids is revealing. Put it in the same box as his belief that Trump colluded with Putin to steal the 2016 election from Hillary.
From 2013 through 2018 Hunter Biden and his company brought in about $11 million via his roles as an attorney and a board member with a Ukrainian firm accused of bribery and his work with a Chinese businessman now accused of fraud, according to an NBC News analysis of a copy of Biden’s hard drive and iCloud account and documents released by Republicans on two Senate committees.

The documents and the analysis, which don’t show what he did to earn millions from his Chinese partners, raise questions about national security, business ethics and potential legal exposure. In December 2020, Biden acknowledged in a statement that he was the subject of a federal investigation into his taxes. NBC News was first to report that an ex-business partner had warned Biden he should amend his tax returns to disclose $400,000 in income from the Ukrainian firm, Burisma. GOP congressional sources also say that if Republicans take back the House this fall, they’ll demand more documents and probe whether any of Biden’s income went to his father, President Joe Biden.

“No government ethics rules apply to him,” said Walter Shaub, a former director of the U.S. Office of Government Ethics who is now an ethics expert with the Project on Government Oversight. Shaub added, however, that “it’s imperative that no one at DOJ and no one at the White House interfere with the criminal investigation in Delaware.” Shaub had previously raised questions about Hunter Biden’s new line of work, selling his own paintings, which created the potential to purchase a painting to buy perceived influence, and also because the White House became involved in the transactions, arranging that none of the buyers’ names be known to Biden, the White House or the public.

Frank Figliuzzi, the FBI’s former assistant director for counterintelligence, said there is a national security risk when foreign powers like China see an opportunity to get close to someone like Biden. “It’s all about access and influence, and if you can compromise someone with both access and influence, that’s even better,” said Figliuzzi, now an NBC News contributor. “Better still if that target has already compromised himself.”

  20. Yes, Emery, it’s not like a hard drive or two of Hunter’s detailing how he used his father’s influence to keep himself in hookers and blow has been found. Certainly not one that notes that his ill-gotten gains were kicked back to a degree to “the big guy”, and certainly not in a case where Hunter’s business partners noted clearly that, yes, “the big guy” was Joe Biden.

Except that is exactly the case. If you don’t get worked up about this, Emery, you have a serious problem.

  21. @ BB — Hunter Biden’s scummy business dealings shouldn’t be swept under the rug any more than anyone else’s.

  22. Emery
What is it about answering this question that frightens you so much:
When did your life becomes something other than chattel for your mother to dispose of at her whim?

  23. There’s a huge difference here, Bot Boy. Kushner was a millionaire before Trump was ever elected. Efforts to try to tie his business dealings to Trump, is just your usual pissing in the wind strategy to defund the real crooks; the DemoCommies. Pedo Pete is on tape admitting to using taxpayer money to get a foreign country, aka the black hole DemoCommie money laundering operation in Ukraine, to get the heat off of his crack head son. He knew that all roads of corruption, led back to him, you ignorant twit!

  24. If Hunter Biden used his father’s political power to enrich himself, Republicans themselves have repeatedly signaled this is not corruption.

Hunter Biden should partner with his father and some investors and open a resort. And Joe Biden should stay there every weekend and charge the Secret Service 3 times the rate they charge regular customers. And Hunter and Joe should bank the money for themselves. They should also ‘encourage’ foreign officials to stay there and pay high rates. They can even host G8 meetings there. This — according to Republicans — is not corruption.

  25. Hey, I thought “Emery blatherfest” didn’t begin until next month?
Poor deluded fool. Driven mad by Trump’s 2016 victory like so many others.
No Trump win in 2016 and we would have a solid liberal Supreme Court and federal judiciary.
Emery doesn’t want to live in an America that chose Trump over Hillary, so he wallows in his own crapulence, raging at Trump, Trump voters, and of course the evil Putin. He’s obsessed with Trump’s Jewish daughter & son in law as well, and always takes the side of the Iranians (who consider themselves at war with us) over the Saudis (our nominal allies in the region).
No wonder he is a couple of sandwiches shy of a picnic.

  26. “Hunter Biden should partner with his father and some investors”

Once again the Emerys prove themselves possessed of the potent combination of arrogance and ignorance, in this case of how the Hospitality business works.

  27. I continue to believe the H Biden document claiming he paid Slow Joe almost $50k/month rent is a nothingburger. Even if accurate it doesn’t mean anything, and there are many more ways Hunter could could cut the “Big Guy” his 10% w/o doing anything as obvious writing him a blown up rent check.
Hunter could “sell” one of his paintings to Slow Joe for $100k, then Slow Joe could sell the painting to an anonymous buyer for ten times that amount.

  28. Oh, Emery is into that weird conspiracy theory that Trump used his office to funnel money into Trump resorts.
Too bad the Trump tax returns show that Trump lost money while he was prez.
There is literally no Trump conspiracy theory, pushed by some nutso internet troll, that Emery does not believe in.
God, this is funny, like those youtube videos where the high school science teacher’s experiments always end in sparks, explosions, and panic.

  29. And, once again, I have to remind Emery that “Hunter’s scummy business dealings” are meaningless, unless Slow Joe was knowingly involved in them. This seems like a really difficult thing for Biden backers to grasp. I could give a f*ck about H Biden’s “scummy business dealings” otherwise. He ain’t a public servant.

  30. The $49,910 on the background check is looking more like a nothingburger. It matches the amount of a refunded security deposit on some office space H Biden received about the same time as the security check form was filled out. Maybe H Biden sign the refunded check over to Slow Joe? Probably. Does it matter?
    No.

  31. FWIW:
DEVELOPING: Subpoena-wielding House GOP investigators eyeing Biden researcher/ghostwriter Mark Zwonitzer for questioning in classified docs scandal. Sources say Zwonitzer accessed Biden records for 2017 book hyping Ukaine work. Biden unlawfully removed secret Ukraine docs from WH

Interesting, if true. No one seems to know why Biden Lawyers (not JD lawyers) discovered the classified docs.

  32. Jesse Kelly comments:
REMINDER: What’s happening to Joe Biden is an op and it’s an op by DEMOCRATS. There’s not a single Republican involved in this. Republicans don’t have the stones for a political hit job like this.

This is a Democrat operation. For a purpose.

  33. Biden received about the same time as the security check form was filled out.

That security check came from CCP. But I guess it is OK for Big Guy to receive money from a hostile nation. ( shrug ).

  34. [Clown Nose On]
    But what about Jared Kushner?
    BUT WHAT ABOUT JARED KUSHNER!
    [Clown Nose Off]

  35. rAT spewed: “ Here’s the entire report Woolly…”

This is a threadbare tactic low IQ nitwits use to disrupt a discussion they don’t like. Dump a link, step back and say “it’s all here, have at it”, without commenting on any specific part. They cannot comment on any part, because they haven’t read any of it; they have no idea what’s in it, it’s just a diversion, but their low intellect tells them it is a clever maneuver.

Y’all think rAT is going to devote an hour of time reading a committee report rather than viewing k1ddy Pr0n on the darkweb? Lol; no.

  36. Emery once actually responded re: Mueller Report with a snippet from the conclusion. I mocked him for posting such idiotic trash “if we had infinite resources and infinite time, we would find something prosecutable” (I’m paraphrasing).
