1. Kinzinger is a poli-sci person, not a lawyer, and it shows.
   I am not a lawyer, but I can think of many reasons why a witness should plead the the 5th even if he has committed no crime. Look at what they did to Michael Flynn. Flynn was not even under oath when questioned by the FBI.

2. Apparently Kinzinger is in good company.
   “If you’re innocent, why are you taking the Fifth Amendment?” — “You see the mob takes the Fifth,” ~ a former president

   What is most interesting is that Trump and his team really thought their cunning plan would work. That a bunch of unemployable incompetents could really take over the capital, that this would stop the certification, that this would mean Pence would not sign something, and that this would magically mean that Trump would stay President. Completely ridiculous but they actually believed it could work.

3. The only thing that bothers me as much is the Trump personality cult is the anti-Trump personality cult. ~ MBerg

   Liz Cheney on those Republicans who knew very well what they were seeing but chose to look the other way for fear of retribution from their own mob. All I can say is that while the Cult of Trump, which is what the GOP is reduced to these days, might wish to punish her (and Kinzinger) for saying it, most of America applauds her and we will ourselves be punishing those very fair weather legislators, who wouldn’t know the difference between right and wrong even if wrong had just bitten their nose off. Lost souls no longer fit for public office. We punished them in November this year. But that was merely a shot across the bow. The real punishment, the real reckoning for the sickly old relic that is the GOP, will be meted out in November 2024. And why not?

4. Obviously Bot Boy, you continue to have double standards when it comes to your party of clowns. After Alice Lerner claimed that she did not target conservative organizations for censorship, she was allowed to plead the 5th, a clear violation of that amendment. In other words, you can’t claim innocence, then clam up as to why you think you are.
   Also, who has dirt on Kinzinger and Cheney, other than the fact that she’s probably made tons of money from her daddy’s investments in Halliburton. You remember her daddy Dick, don’t you Bot Boy? The one that you and your ilk vilified as evil, Hitler, a grifter that allegedly made tons of money off of no bid government contracts to Halliburton? You are a shameful fraud!

6. If you get through that too quickly then you can also read the Sentate Intelligence Committee’s bipartisan report on Russian interference in getting Trump elected it’s 1000 or so pages but a lot is redacted.
