The story: woman in Hibbing arrested and charged with stealing Pete Stauber’s campaign materials.
In a Friday press release, the Hibbing Police Department announced that Lisa Linnea Fitzpatrick, 61, has been charged under Minnesota Statutes for intentionally removing mail from a mail depository without claim of right.
The offense is a felony and carries a maximum sentence of 3 years in jail, a $5,000 fine, or both.

Phyllis Kahn got caught doing the same thing on Nicollet Island and was only charged(convicted) with a misdemeanor and had her record expunged a couple years later so don’t expect anything more for Ms Fitzpatrick than maybe a stern reprimand.

ummp, when Phyllis Kahn was caught stealing campaign literature from mailboxes on Nicollet Island she: was not convicted of a felony, did not lose her teaching job at the UofM, went on to serve as a state representative for several more terms. The fix is already in, nothing of consequence will happen to the execrable Ms Fitzpatrick.

Director in the white collar world (where my mind leads) is not the same as what she directs:
Lisa is the director of two emerging technology labs (Viz Lab and MMAD Lab); additionally she is an experienced Russian, Spanish and French translator, freelance graphic designer, tour guide in Russia, Spanish teacher, floral designer and yoga instructor.
I’m sure they’re getting excellent ROI for her services.
