A friend of the blog emails:

Certain people in the media know who [Umbrella Man] is and won’t reveal it.

Do you think he’s connected or related to a well known DFL elected official or donor?

It’s starting to look that way.

If Big Leftymedia felt that the identity could impugn the GOP before an election, or reinforce the “the whole right is a bunch of wytespremecists” narrative, we’d hear about it at the top of every newscast for the next three weeks.

When people stop trusting the media to tell the stories impartially, democracy takes a hit. And anyone who trusts our media to tell the story impartially is an irredeemable pollyanna.

  1. The incompetence and political bias of the Gestapo, continues on full display. They tracked down Mike Lindell to a Hardee’s in Mankato, arrested hundreds of “insurrektionists”, but, despite having video of the person, they can’t find the bomber, that allegedly planted bombs in both the DC DemoCommie and Republican parties.

  2. I don’t know that I’d go with incompetence here. I’d just stay put with bias. The FBI does some pretty impressive things when they’re motivated, as with those who went into the Capitol or near it on January 6. Suspect methods–e.g. the long term isolation and no bail for nonviolent arrestees–but impressive in their get up and go about the matter.

And simultaneously it is depressing that the investigation of the FBI’s work with the Steele dossier got nowhere, that the IRS-gate investigation got nowhere, that the Fast & Furious investigation got nowhere, that the investigation of Hilliary Clinton got nowhere (twice, Whitewater and Servergate), and that the investigation of Hunter Biden is getting nowhere. You don’t fail to convene a grand jury in each of these and other cases through incompetence. You do so through bias.

  3. Sorry, bike, but I totally disagree. I believe that the motivation of which you speak, is purely political. As far as January 6, there are too many videos out there of capitol police beating defenseless people, coincidentally, all of them women and one of which was disabled. Then, there is video evidence of Ray Epps, egging the crowd on and saying something to a capitol police officer, who then opened the barricade. Just like the Minneapolis riots, there were paid agitators that caused the problems. Just like January 6, they arrested some scapegoats (or their plants like the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys) and forced them to cop to plea deals to avoid financial ruin. Sadly, too many people were already in that state.
Then, there’s Michael Stenger, the Senate Sergeant at Arms. In his video testimony, he declared that the majority of the mob were paid agitators. Funny! The day he was supposed to testify to the clown committee, he’s found dead. Funnier still, the committee, holding the public hearing where lying Cassidy Hutchinson was “testifying”, didn’t even pause to acknowledge his passing.
These “hearings” are totally biased! Nancy Piglosi, Mitch McConnell and Chuck Schumer, should all have been required to testify under oath.

  4. Boss, I was actually arguing the same thing, but with different points. It’s hard to argue outright incompetence when they do so much when they’re motivated and make it stick in court. No argument that they crossed some lines and might have those convictions get overturned, but when they want to, the FBI does a LOT of investigation.

And when they don’t, they don’t, and that’s disturbing. Have a great weekend!

“WASHINGTON — If you were anywhere near the Capitol on Jan. 6, you may be getting a knock on your door from the FBI.

A D.C. woman said an agent visited her neighbor and called her, telling them investigators were tracking people whose cell phones connected to wi-fi or pinged cell phone towers near the Capitol during the riots.

“They don’t call first, they just come to your house,” Bree Stevens, a legal investigator who lives near Capitol Hill, said.

Stevens said an FBI agent told her they were reaching out to every single person whose cell phone put them near the Capitol during the riots.”

Impressive isn’t a word that comes to my mind when warrantless, mass surveillance is committed, Patriots. But then I’m an unrepentant Communist, racist, antisemitic Nazi. Everything’s fine.

  6. In the current year, actively attempting to shield yourself from mass government surveillance is prima facia evidence of criminal conspiracy in the US, Patriots.

The “Silent pocket” Faraday pouch my pocket spy resides in is proof I’m a White Supremacist terrorist.

Thank God all that will probably, maybe, could, come to an end when the GOP takes control of Congress. McConnell and McCarthy will put a stop to this…as soon as they get rid of MTG, Goetz, Cotton, Boebart and the rest of those trouble makers.

  7. “It’s hard to argue outright incompetence when they…make it stick in court.”

It’s amazing what some people will plead guilty to when they’re faced with 150 years in federal prison vs. 6 months.

    “Making it stick in court”
    Boomer, Back the Blue™️ translation:
Sticking it to you in court, for the good of the country, of course.

  8. I have not watched local TV news here in a long long time. I don’t know any of the anchors besides a few older ones and because I am a meteorologist I never watch the tv weather because their teeth are just too white and their plastic a bit too shiny. Just cannot stand any of that crap unless some big breaking news is occurring (like democrat riots) I just will not watch that crapola. Nope. Not a chance.
