  1. I think you’re wrong about the Water’s importance to the band, but I don’t disagree the man is otherwise a nutjob.

  2. Seventy nine years old! OMG that means I must be . . . old.
Water’s anger is really a thing of itself, unmoored to any actual injustice. The world he lives in today is far more like the one he would like to live in than the world he was born into, but he seems to have gotten angrier as he has gotten older.

  3. “In other words, it’s NATO’s fault that Putin decided to invade Ukraine.

    We’ve reached an impasse…”

    LMAO!

Leftist reprobates joining hands with boomer MAGA Patriots. The circle has been closed friends, and its hilarious!

  4. I wonder what Gilmore thinks of the revived Musk/Twitter deal. I’m sincerely interested to know.

The reprobates and degenerates have gone to Defcon 5; cranked the dial to 11; smearing feces on the walls of their warehouse lofts.

I don’t have any social media accounts, other than LinkedIn as the late, lamented “Joe Kreaphammer” noted. But reading through the comment threads on TwiTr are tempting me to jump in.

  5. Leftist reprobates joining hands with boomer MAGA Patriots

That crossed my mind as well

  6. Pink Floyd cut a track in April to benefit Ukraine.
Waters not-so-much. Waters is a creative genius but also a man of grievance and ego..

All in all, he’s just another prick in the wall.

  7. That crossed my mind as well

When you find yourself on the same page as people you found all your life to be deluded, ignorant, gullible, mendacious and contemptible, if something doesn’t cross your mind you have probably lost it.

  8. Say, rAT? Ain’t it time you start laying in a supply of cord wood for the sKI ShAK? Teh BirKiE is coming!

    Lol

  9. ^^ I see your boy Tyler Kistner had to retract his claimed military record. He claimed “four combat deployments” when in truth—he never saw combat. Real tough guys don’t lie about things like that. He must not think he’s badass enough.

  10. ^ Doesn’t seem to bother Democrats when voting for Senator Richard Blumenthal and his heroic struggle in Vietnam.

  11. Just another MAGA congressional candidate caught lying about his service record. What’s wrong with saying you fixed radios (or radar) or the myriad of jobs in the military that are not combat jobs? Those jobs are just as important and need to get done. Why do you have to be a tough guy?

  12. “Blah, blah, blah”

Don’t know who tf you’re talking about rAT, so let’s not discuss someone else’s lying.

Let’s talk about your sKI ShAK. You throw big parties during teh BiRKie to discuss your shREds?

I suppose all the major sponsors show up to schmooze with you top contenders…they being swag?

    tia, rAT!

  13. Say rAT? Does teh Peevee shred with you? If not, you need to reach out. Breddy sure he lived next to Jack Marcial, and Rick Borcovec.

Y’all could trade stories over a few bottles of Pappy Van Winkle’s 20 yr old…would be great.

I have an active twitter account account under my real name. But I only use it to post stupid jokes. I have, like twelve followers, most of them friends and family. Typical post: “I watched some Carpenters videos on Youtube. Not bad. Karen Carpenter would be sexy if she lost a few pounds. Kind of hippy.”
Twitter brings out the cruelty in people, even saintly me.

  15. The people who say that without arbitrary moderation, social media will become a cesspool of spam and porn are correct. You don’t have to be data scientist to know this, just look at any unmoderated group on usenet.
By simply making FB, Twitter, etc., responsible for what appears on their websites you will crash the business models of Zuckerberg, Dorsey, and Cook.
Let’s do it. And, yes, I know that it will mean the end of unmoderated comments on SITD, and maybe the end of SITD itself.

  16. “By simply making FB, Twitter, etc., responsible for what appears on their websites you will crash the business models of Zuckerberg, Dorsey, and Cook”

Super idea. If you believe the judicial has any credibility.

  17. I’m indifferent to the impact on the banks and bondholders — however, the rising interest rates and a faltering global economy will choke Musk on the humble pie he is now eating.

The man who glued a laptop on a car dashboard and thought he changed the world will get trussed.

  18. If Musk follows though and buys Twitter it will just become Truth Social 2.0. Why spend billions for a service that will immediately tank because most of the employees and users will leave?
