Keith Ellison presided over, and in someways encouraged, the greatest outbreak of lawlessness, and certainly the greatest collapse in the rule of law, in Minnesota history.
But never let it be said he doesn’t know who his real enemies are:

After this past two years, your attorney generals real targets are the law abiding gun owners of Minnesota.
Poor Keith, he’s given himself the impossible job of proving the innocent guilty and the guilty innocent.
You will hear no mention of putting people who commit gun crimes in jail.
Instead you will hear lots of jaw boning about holding gun manufacturers and gun sellers being “held responsible” for NOT breaking the law.
Keith can’t even prosecute straw buyers, because they tend to be minority and female.
this is encouraging finally a black man willing to speak out against black youth committing crimes only a black man has the moral authority to condemn them because hes the only one not tainted by the legacy of slavery good for him
its also encouraging to see rashmi involved she correctly points out that 70% of gun deaths are suicide mostly older rural white men who have nothing left to live for
https://kfgo.com/2022/09/21/guns-and-suicide/ its nice to see someone advocating FOR old white men instead of blaming them for all of societys ills
not sure what the mom brings to the table she has no moral authority to demand black yutes ‘act white’ by obeying the law she doesnt live in their community so she has no idea of the stress they are under being hunted by police and umbrella men every day im guessing she will talk about teh scourge of school shootings as examples of why untreated mental illness requires america to ban firearms first edged weapons next and eventually lead pipes, ropes, sticks and stones all of which have historically been used to oppress women and children on no account should we forcibly treat the untreated mental illness that would be cruel
still its good to see them start the discussion maybe add a planned parenthood speaker to encourage black women to abort their children so they dont grow up to be oppressed and turn to lives of crime maybe someone named margaret

Please tell me someone has RSVP’d. We need a mole in that zoom call.
The best thing for AG Keith to do would be to offer his office’s assistance to counties that are not prosecuting gun crimes (including illegal possession) because they lack the resources to do so.
But of course the HennCo and RamCo attorneys will never ask for state help in prosecuting street crime, no matter how bad it gets, because it will mean putting “black and brown people” in the hoosegow.
The HennCo and RamCo attorneys are far more worried about being outflanked on their left than they are about putting criminals in jail or about the communities their policies are decimating.
Cedric Alexander, Frey’s new public safety czar, is telling the media that he will get results by using analytics to take down the worst offenders.
Could work, if he follows through. If criminality follows a power law, a few dozen individuals are responsible for most of the crime, and he will get results if he takes those people off of the street.
OTOH, Alexander’s plan is not a “broken window” policy.
And if he does manage to arrest the right guys, the county attorneys have to charge and prosecute them.
And most of the criminals will be black.
Alexander’s plans also do not specifically address the problem with gangs. I suspect that a lot of the shootings and murders happening in Minneapolis are gang disputes. How else to explain why so many of these shootings happen in areas frequented by gang members, between illegally armed individuals who say that they don’t know each other?
UMMP is on the right path, I think. Analytics are great, but as with many such precise scientific investigations, the results often fall prey to politics when the results do not fall within the narrative being proffered by the ruling elite (as with The Bell Curve).
We don’t need a careful statistical analysis of what’s going on in the Twin Cities, or who its going on among. Crime Watch Mpls posts a running account of the chaos. The proprietors of that franchise know exactly where, when and who.
The answers are simply not useful to leftist reprobates sticking to the narrative.
Let’s go to David Byrne for commentary:
Same as it ever was, same as it ever was…
And you may ask yourself, “Well… how did I get here?”
And you may ask yourself, “Am I right? Am I wrong?”
And you may say to yourself, “My God! What have I done?”
Blade;
Great point! Someone needs to ask Hakim about the gun that your thug son was brandishing during the mostly peaceful riots.
A. Was it legally purchased? Did he pass the background check?
B. Did he have a valid permit to carry on him?
C. Why didn’t you charge him for brandishing a weapon, which is illegal to do, even in the communist controlled state of Minnesota?
Night;
Well played!

One would figure that even rabid anti-gun advocates would figure out that for a lot of what ails Minneapolis, arresting unarmed criminals would go a long way in these parts, but evidently, when you’re screaming from your soapbox, the “Pareto Principle” really doesn’t matter.
if it was harder for people to buy guns there would be less gun violence right
obama had operation chokepoint telling banks to cut off gun dealers lesko brandon wants credit card companies to adopt a special merchant code for gun purchases and flag them for the government to build a list of every gun purchaser
the only reason for a list is to seize the guns as beto promised they would
has any credit card company said no or are they all against us

There was a shooting outside Richfield High’s homecoming game on Friday night.
There are so few details given by ANY news outlet it is hard to figure out just what happened. Some undescribed people were denied entry to the bleachers but remained outside the gate. Someone told the cops, and as the cops approached the undescribed group, two shots were fired. By digging very deep, I was able to find a report that an 18 year old ex-Richfield student was shot in the leg and a 21 year old security guard had a bullet hit his cell phone.
That’s it. That is all. No one was arrested, no suspects named. Although the two people shot are not minors their names were not mentioned.
The world has changed a lot in the last four decades, but it is shocking that a shooting outside a suburban high school homecoming game would result in so little media interest. One suspects that more is known about the incident by the cops, school officials, and journalists, but they will not even say why they aren’t reporting what they know. No one seems to have asked the security person why he stopped the group at the gate, for example.
And we have this: https://www.startribune.com/embattled-north-minneapolis-corner-has-long-been-epicenter-for-violence/600209853/
A few highlights.
“This month, Attorney General Keith Ellison announced his office will investigate whether the business owners [Merwyn Liquors and Winner Gas & Convenience] are “turning a blind eye” to the chronic violence. The city of Minneapolis is also examining if the businesses are violating regulations.”
and below the fold:
“In the first half of 2019, data show Minneapolis police made a combined 500 proactive calls to Merwin and Winner, often in the form of directed patrols, traffic stops and business checks.
This year: 49.”
Hard to imagine a more significant correlation. But Keith Ellison, citing no evidence, wants to investigate the business owners rather than MPD’s decision to reduce police presence.
Minnesota desperately needs a new AG.
Logan David Slack, arrested and taken into custody by mpls PD on Sept 11 for carrying a pistol w/o a permit. Released w/o bail on 9/13.
Logan David Slack was arrested and charged with 1st degree murder early Saturday morning.
Slack is a white guy, btw.
UMMP, that story also related the negotiations between the city and the owner of Merwyn’s to relocate the store went nowhere because of the city zoning laws that make relocation impossible anywhere but down town…because we all know down town needs a liquor store to serve the black community there, right?
These people are all insane. I don’t blame the owners of Merwyn’s for squeezing every buck they can out of their business, while they can.
Slack is a white guy, btw.
Well, the 13% is only responsible for 62% of violent crime…gotta be a few White guys in there somewhere.
If you’re going to allow Occupy, Antifa, and the like to run rampant in the state, you’ve got to look the other way at crimes committed by white guys, no? You can still prosecute white people thought to be moderate or conservative while letting Antifa slide, after all.
