The DFL’s No Good, Very Bad Day (Part III): Follow The Money
By Mitch Berg
Perhaps the biggest story of all dropped last. US Attorney Andy Lugar released indictments against 47 (and later, 48) suspects in the Feeding Our Future scandal – the scam funneling $250 million in federal COVID relief into, it’s alleged, the pockets of a series of local non-profits.
he 48th indictment was allegedly a woman who was just about to head to Ethiopia on a one-way ticket – one who’d had the distinction of being the only one of the indicted who’d actually fed anyone.
The indicted include major donors to DFL candidates up through Ilhan Omar – and some key staffers for (as far as we know so far) Jacob Frey and others.
Beyond that?
This all took place on the watches of Keith Ellison and, especially, State Auditor Julie Blaha – who listed her main qualification for the job as “teaching kindergartners how to count”, four years ago. She may just be out of her depth.
Strong hunches bordering on fearless predications:
- The Twin Cities media will try to move along to a new news cycle ASAP.
- More DFL connections will become apparent, for those who are looking for them.
It was a very bad day for the DFL. I needed that.

I’m happy to see you mention Bill Glahn. I can’t read Twitter anymore (they don’t allow “auditing” for lack of a better term), but Glahn was all over this scandal. He deserves huge props for his work investigating as well as publicizing.
Ever wonder why the DFL is always flush with cash? Glahn explained why this is so important which ties in with your “Follow the money”. If I recall correctly, an added benefit of these so-called charities was to provide a means of laundering the money that is “donated” to the DFL.

That list of the indicted was certainly, um, diverse.

Give millions in federal fiat currency (ffc) to 75IQ Ethiopian refugees and stand back while they do their magic.
What could go wrong?

Oh, man, thanks Blade. I’ll probably regret this because it’s so easy to waste so much time on Twitter – and that’s just the interesting people.

I can hardly think of a more representative story of Minneapolis in 2022 than a non-profit manager filing a discrimination lawsuit because state officials asked a couple questions about the hundreds of millions of dollars she was stealing from hungry, low-income children to buy cars and designer bags.
Ilhan Omar has long and deep ties to both the people and businesses involved in this scam. She and Frey, received the maximum allowable donations from 6 men indicted in this scam.
One of the people indicted — Abdi Nur Salah – was the senior policy aid to Frey. One of the other people indicted, Sharmarke Issa, was appointed twice by Frey to chair the Minneapolis public housing authority. Yet none of this seems to have made it into the Strib’s “extensive” investigation.
So basically a group of well-connected Democrats stole a quarter of a billion dollars from hungry children, and the Strib is running cover for them.

Which is odd, because those kids need to be in top shape before they can be surgically altered to satisfy the depraved sexual appetites of leftist pedophiles, right rAT?

This scam was highlighted a few weeks ago by Justice and Drew.
All of these DemoCommie projects for social justice, helping disadvantaged people, fixing the alleged “food desert” and crime diffusers, seem to be 501 c3 types. They also give a ton of money back to them.
Funny! I remember the lefties going bonkers when Citizens United was passed. They claimed that these dark money organizations, would be unfair. Now that they are the beneficiaries of millions of dollars in corporate and these types of scam organizations, not a peep.

one white minnesota woman and 45 somali muslims
nothing to see here.. no connection to Omar… none whatsoever…
September 21st, 2022 at 1:12 pm
What we have here, Bigman, is a White woman who recruited a mob of 75IQ Somalis to run cover for her, and to check the “POC” box on federal grant applications.
Don’t get me wrong; the trash that washes up here from African, 3rd world shitholes learn the ropes from the reprobates zippy quick, and are experts in getting free stuff. But they’re just not smart enough to have pulled this one off alone.
HAkim X will never get involved, because that Muslim vote is very important to him.

Putin is calling up his reserves; just as I predicted. He’s also reminding the NATO protectors of buttsex, money laundering and child trafficking that they’re treading a very fine line.
Putin is not going g to lose this war Patriots. If necessary, he will nuke his rival crime bosses in Kyiv. He says its not a bluff, and I believe him.
He wasn’t kidding when he said he wouldn’t allow a NATO base on his border, and he meant it.
Y’all willing to get vaporized for buttsex, money laundering and child trafficking? I’m not. Fuck the Zelensky mob. The only thing I’m willing to fight and die for are my family and my 15 little acres. And my dogs…don’t fuck with my dogs; I ain’t kidding neither, agent Friendly.
This debacle was completely avoidable, if only we had a few intelligent adults running NATO countries… But we don’t. We have a cabal of leftist degenerates, and woke millennial nitwits running the show.

Fuck. If it’s not outright deletion, its moderation.
Akismet is shit, Mitch. You really need to fix this problem.

Why only a federal prosecution? Surely some state laws sere broken?
Seems a perfect for a state AG to take on a corrupt local institution.
September 21st, 2022 at 6:51 pm
You can tell a corrupt state when all the big prosecutions are handled by the feds.

The only nice thing I can say about this is that between WIC, SNAP (food stamps), and free/discounted school lunch/breakfast, you likely get to far more than the adequate calories per day for the poor. So while yes, it is a crime, it could theoretically be the best thing for these kids.
Unless, of course, the parents are already fencing their SNAP/WIC benefits to purchase something else, and the kids truly are going hungry.
For a bit of perspective, there are something like 100,000 Somalis in MInnesota, so the stolen money, a quarter billion dollars, amounts to a couple thousand dollars per Somali and probably close to $10k/Somali school student. To put this in perspective, annual school lunch funding per student nationwide is about $400. This is huge, and you’ve got to wonder how this slipped under the radar for so long.

Somalis driving Mercedes and moving into a $1.5 mil house should be a red flag for anyone paying the least attention.
How many legit Somali millionaires can there be?

AG Keith Ellison Asks Court To Oversee Nonprofit ‘Feeding Our Future’ After Fraud
https://www.cbsnews.com/minnesota/news/keith-ellison-feeding-our-future/
Hmmm… Lugar, who charged the cases is a DFLer. Ellison, who blocked Feeding Our Future from dissolving so as to investigate them is… a DFLer. Walz, whose Education Department first flagged the issue is… a DFLer. So, I’d say the DFL narrative is: we take fraud seriously.
September 22nd, 2022 at 11:27 am
Oh btw, if you read this excellent timeline of the case, you’ll see that the fraud happened because the federal government relaxed fraud controls in March of 2020. Remind me… who ran the federal government back then? (hint: not a DFLer)
Timeline: How feeding underprivileged children turned into a sweeping federal investigation.

And here ^ you see, the results of all those cars that bosshoss429 saw when he drove past the headquarters of the DemoCommie party of MN. They’ve been working on the Narrative. And then 48 hours later, Emery is there, johnny on the spot, to propagate it.
As to the DFL narrative is: we take fraud seriously, I’d say that’s far more true than you thought when you wrote it. Or as Bill Glahn put it, “So why do you suppose that the indicted persons gave exclusively to Democrats?”.
Also, there appears to be at least one person that isn’t on the team (perhaps wasn’t happy with the payoff), “A Minneapolis City Councilmember implied pretty heavily yesterday that the Mayor of Minneapolis & prominent DFLers were complicit in the Feeding our Future fraud scandal, and the indicted suspects are just taking the fall for them.”

^^ adolescent twaddle…

So, I’d say the DFL narrative is: we take fraud seriously.
The party of Ilhan Omar takes fraud seriously?
That’s a good one, Emery.

September 22nd, 2022 at 1:43 pm
Awww. Look at poor, dumb bot boy! Falling for the DFL backtracking and lying that “they knew it all along”.
So sorry, bot boy, but that’s typical DFL damage control akin to closing the barn door after the horses are gone.
September 22nd, 2022 at 2:35 pm
Emery, the response of the federal government to COVID in March 2020 would have been coordinated by federal bureaucrats, overwhelmingly liberal, and the law that enabled this would have originated in the offices of noted ultra-conservative Nancy Pelosi. Just sayin’. And the folks who would have casually looked the other way in Minnesota would also be overwhelmingly Democratic.
Worth noting as well is that when Ms. Lomen blew a whistle at how her former partner and then-rival was spending the money, it was the Trump-led Department of Education that started to step in.
It’s also worth noting that the shenanigans of Ms. Bock are only a small portion of this corruption, though she seems to have led with her chin by really ramping up the cheating when the FBI got involved, and when she’d been warned that people were starting to watch.
