One Definition Of Insanity…

…is “doing the same thing, over and over and over, and expecting a different result”.

Apropos nothing:

Tax money will be shifted from taxpayers to non-profits that are, themselves, run and staffed by junior members of the city’s DFL political class. They’ll do studies, write reports, have events, and mostly cash checks, and crime will rise and (maybe) fall on its own rhythm (or, like Detroit and Newark and Baltimore and Saint Louis, not fall at all, ever) – but the DFL will be able to claim with a straight-ish face that they are “Dooooooing Something” about crime.

Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

  1. OK, first of all, I couldn’t help but chuckle when I saw that image above. DFL politicians out looking for a clue.

Anyway, it’s kind of funny, bitterly so, just how hard the DFL and friends avoid the obvious. I mean, wouldn’t putting criminals in jail go a long ways in “preventing carjackings, assaults and shootings”?

How would that do any good when all the crime is caused by white supremacy?

  3. Wouldn’t surprise me if some of the money wound up in “diversion” programs and then into the pockets of the perps. I think there’s a name for that.

  4. UMMP, you state well the rhetorical trick employed.

Confusing causation in the short-term and the long-term is common. It is probably intentional by those looking to milk the system, but it is certainly employed by mid-wits who want to sound thoughtful and intelligent and oh-so DFL.

  5. The “feed the poor, staaaarving children” scam is busted. Somalis need another glory hole.

It’s time a smart White man stepped up, declared he identifies as a trans gender, trans species black woman, check those POC and marginalised person boxes, leases a burned out storefront and starts collecting those sweet federal fiat bucks.

  6. Why is the fiction that the owner of the Strib, Glenn Taylor, is a Republic allowed to continue?

The guy is little more than a fifth column communist.

  7. eventually, they’ll ran out of other people’s money… oh wait, they’ll just print more! perpetuum ad nauseam.

  8. I’m reminded of the police refusal to even work to confiscate stolen property from thieves. OK, no real cost to crime, why on earth is it going through the roof? I don’t understand! (/sarc off)

  9. oh wait, they’ll just print more! perpetuum ad nauseam.

Just wait until yuan becomes the petrodollar.

  10. Sort of on topic.

About 30 minutes ago, I drove past the headquarters of the DemoCommie party of MN. The lot was full of cars, of which I counted 35. No doubt the minions that drive them, are smugly contriving the tactics they will use to steal the election.

On another note, I was thinking that if I could only find a skunk that I could let loose in there. Harmless fun.

  11. “The county awarded nearly $5 million to more than 50 groups in 2022 and plans to spend the rest of money early next year.

Bayley said county officials are experimenting with more innovative solutions outside the criminal justice system: An Art is My Weapon exhibit featured weapons obtained in a gun buyback program; Asian Media Access worked with underserved immigrants, and the Brooklyn Park Lions Drum and Bugle Corps provided youth programming.

Don’t tell me that they have not thought this through, carefully. Anyone can see how those initiatives will motivate the Crips, Bloods and Vice Lords to drop their nines, and give up the gangster life.

  12. Did someone say “insanity”?

“Jared Kushner criticizes Desantis’s flight of migrants to MV: “We have to remember that these are human beings, they’re people, so seeing them being used as political pawns is very troubling to me.”

now is the time to start driving through the lots recording the lic plates for cross checking against election night when the drop boxes are getting late night infusions of votes

on topic: Why is anyone surprised by this? If people had done a deep dive into the family history of the work/business dealing of Mogadishu Barbie’s family they’d recognize this as as exemplars of the family business. There was a reason her family became refugees as a result of the Somali civil war and it wasn’t because they were poor.

  14. MacArthur Wheeler, conspiracies tend to work when their are a small number of conspiratorial actors. Where criminal conspiracies manage to steal election with fraudulent votes the stakes are usually small.
Instead, the election stealing is going on right in the open.
There is a new election day, and that day is the day when some judge says that the existing count will have to stand, and there is no time for an appeal before the “winner” is sworn in. So all you have to do is get an official count where your guy is in the lead, and have your lawyers fight any attempt to count more votes from precincts that they are likely to lose until your guy is sworn in. All 100% legal.
This is similar to the technique used by libs to install a de facto Equal Rights Amendment to the constitution and to install a racial reparations system. I draw your attention to this little noticed Biden executive order, #13985, signed, literally on the day that he was sworn in: https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/presidential-actions/2021/01/20/executive-order-advancing-racial-equity-and-support-for-underserved-communities-through-the-federal-government/
The doc directs ALL federal government agencies to use a racist and sexist lens when reviewing and creating policy.
    It revokes 2 of Trump’s EO’s meant to combat racism: EO’s 13950 & 13958.
EO 13950 purged DEI requirements within federal agencies and contractors.
EO 13958 created the 1776 commission.

I’ve commented on Big Pharma loving Angie Craig’s office in Burnsville. I have a customer on the back side of the complex, so I’m driving past it several times per month. Couldn’t help noticing among the five to six cars in front of her office, there are always the same three cars parked there, with out of state plates on them; respectively, New York, Virginia and Illinois. They aren’t rentals, either. I’m wondering who is paying their tabs for lodging, etc? They may be legal campaign expenses, but I find it funny. Couldn’t she find enough local mush brained college kids to shill for here here? Of course, DemoCommies are very skilled at hiring family members and friends to launder their campaign funds through, ala Big Mouth Maxine Waters, Bernie Sanders and Fauxcahontas, to enrich themselves. I’m sure that all of their kids use the Hunter Biden scheme of “giving the Big Guys” their cuts.

  16. ” conspiracies tend to work when their are a small number of conspiratorial actors.”
or when it is a criminal enterprise deeply embedded in a tribal/clan structure. I would be genuinely surprised if the overwhelming majority of the 48 indicted persons were not members of the same clan as Mogadishu Barbie. Particularly it would be interesting to find out how much of that money got funneled back to Mogadishu Barbie’s sister who runs a NGO in Kenya.

  17. jdm, Kushner reminds me of Dracula. Same waxy complexion, same vapid stare, same thirst for sucking the life-blood out of everyone he comes into contact with.

  18. Loathsome, naive, ignorant, obnoxious, dumb, fools, shysters. Did I leave anything out about the LEFT/DFL?
