Let’s Not Put Too Fine A Point On This

By Mitch Berg

Joe Biden is a terrible president – he’s passed Jimmy Carter as the worst of my lifetime, and if his (or, let’s be honest, Obama’s) agenda follows through, could pass Woodrow Wilson as the worst ever.

But let’s talk a little compassion, here, first.

My mom passed away at the end of April, as wrote earlier this month. As I noted at the time, she had Alzheimers.

We first started noticing her memory issues around the end of 2016. It started out with little things – not being able to find her purse over and over, mistaking who she was talking with, that sort of thing. It progressed, slowly and yet inexorably and all too fast at the same time.

Biden reminds me of my mom in early 2017.

The sinister element behind all this is that my mother was not simultaneously at the head of the world’s most powerful bureaucracy and military, and a talking head basically parroting the words put in front of her on a teleprompter.

LIke this:

“A .22 will lodge in your lung; a surgeon can fix it. A 9mm blows your lung out”.

If Biden is going off-script, he’s babbling. If he’s repeating a chanting point fed to him by a Democrat messageer who can count of Democrat voters not being critical enough a bunch of thinkers to see through the BS, then he’s still babbling.

Inflation is off the charts.

Crime is exploding.

Our debt is going to crush us, sooner than later.

Americans hate each other, and are sorting themselves out ever more strictly.

And we’re led by a muppet.

Meanwhile, north of our border in Canada, little Castro has banned all handgun transfers, sales and imports, to the thunderous applause of future victims of Der Fuehrer’s ignorance.

There are number of commenters who talk about elder abuse with regards to Biden’s family (Dr Jill especially) and staff. To be honest, I don’t much care; apart from Obama, I can’t think of a more deserving person.

Canada is already independent-trucker-free, now going gun-free, next step going vote-free as Premier-For-Life will no longer be an elected position. And then change the country’s name to Worker’s Paradise – Northern Division.

  4. justplainangry Says:

    JD, indeed…

Ah… I remember the good ol’ days when 9mm round was considered too weak so .40S&W had to be invented. Now, it blows out a lung!

And I guess somebody forgot to prime Jughead that VT massacre was carried out with a .22 and that preferred weapon by israeli assassins (if they exist) is a .22.

  5. bikebubba Says:

What comes to mind for me regarding Biden’s comments is that about 58% of handguns sold are in 9mm. So what Biden wants to do is, in effect, to disarm most carry permit holders. If you ban 9mm, you’ve got to ban .40 S&W, .45, etc..

Or, excuse me, what Biden’s handlers/Obama wants to do is that.

  6. Night Writer Says:

Ronald Reagan had Alzheimer’s symptoms in his last term. Then, however, there were adults around him who – as oily as they were – where accustomed to working the levers of power and kept things operating smoothly. I don’t think the current crop of handlers have the same experience or motivation.

Biden speaking ten years ago in 2012: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MiGZzNEZmHY
    The decline is undeniable.
This should be the headline story on every newscast. Biden graduated 76th out of a class of 85 at a third rate law school, and he found that such a hard slog he had to plagiarize a law review article to get through it.
The man is an idiot. he was training to be a lawyer, and he excused his plagiarism by saying he did not understand the rules for citation.
This is a guy who was never particularly sharp in the first place, and is now, obviously, in serious mental decline.

  8. Emery Says:

Will Biden’s mental state become the “but her emails” of 2020? Age-related mental decline is a real issue. For both Biden and Trump.

I hope to see neither one on the ballot in 2024

What a concept— the right’s answer here is to turn schools, etc. into bunkers.

  10. Blade Nzimande Says:

Nothing is going to be banned. I do think, however, that an age limit of 21 will be put on semi-auto rifles.

That in and of itself in not a big deal, but just wait for the flood of “We have momentum!!!1111” posts on degenerate media sites.

  11. Blade Nzimande Says:

You should go back to Canada, rAT. The place is awash with pedophiles, wankers, tossers, reprobates and leftist vermin. And bonus; your Prime minister is a faggot!..time to go home.

  12. Joe Doakes Says:

I ask again – why do we believe people have sufficient wisdom and maturity to be granted the privileges of adulthood at 18 – vote, marry, contract, serve in the military – except the privilege of purchasing a certain kind of rifle? What class of education or life experience do we expect 18-year-olds to gain in the next three years which will cause them to wake up on their 21st birthday, startled, saying, “Holy cow, I guess I shouldn’t kill my grandmother and then shoot up a 4th Grade classroom. What was I thinking?”

Why is it safe to allow a 19-year-old to shoot an M4 in Afghanistan but not an AR in America?

  13. Blade Nzimande Says:

“People should be free to go to the supermarket, their school or their place of worship without fear.” ~ Justin Trudeau”

Isn’t that the same faggot that had a preacher dragged out of his church and locked up, rAT?

    Why yes, yes it is.

“Canadian Police Arrest Pastor for Holding ‘Illegal In-Person Gathering'”

“Canadian Pastor Artur Pawlowski was arrested Saturday for allegedly holding a church service that violated new public health orders pertaining to gatherings.

Pawlowski and his brother Dawid were accused of organizing and attending an in-person gathering earlier that day, Calgary Police said in a statement.”

Sounds like your kind of shithole.

  14. Blade Nzimande Says:

JD, after 12 years of intense brainwashing in public school, many 18 year old kids are fucked up in the head. It’s not their fault; it’s the wretched parents fault for letting mentally ill, leftist degenerates get their greasy mitts on them.

I’m willing to make a deal. Delay age of majority until 21 across the board. Can’t join the military, can’t buy a firearm, can’t vote.
I was an independent adult at 19. Rented my own apartment, had a full time job, a car, my own health insurance. All of my peers, ditto. How many 19 year olds does that describe today?

  18. Mammuthus Primigenesis Says:

People have seen the Sussman acquital coming for days:
At least three Clinton campaign donors made it into the jury pool, in addition to supporters of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and a supporter of defunding the police, according to the New York Post. One juror’s daughter is on the same high school crew team as Sussmann’s daughter.

  19. Emery Says:

^ Just like the 2020 election was supposedly rigged, now the Sussman jury was rigged too. Because, of course, MAGA never, ever loses.

  20. kinlaw Says:

Regarding the Sussman verdict, tried before a bunch of Granny Winebox donors:

Dog licks self. (I thought I would be nice to the troll and say something that would turn him on)

And hold up on the “buts” troll, you’re doing “but Trump”. Idiot.

  21. Blade Nzimande Says:

We didn’t need another blow dealt to the poor slobs who cling to the belief they still live in a nation of laws, and can vote their way out of this mess, but there it is.

  22. kinlaw Says:

    Moderation. Shrug.

In regards to the Sussman verdict, tried before a bunch of Hills donors: dog licks self.

(thought I’d be nice to the troll and write something that would turn him on)

  23. kinlaw Says:

    Licks (test)

  24. kinlaw Says:

Lol, absolutely no clue why moderation.

  25. Mammuthus Primigenesis Says:

Anyone understand what Emery is blathering about? Does he think the Sussman trial was rigged? Not rigged? Does he think that Sussman was telling the truth when he told Baker he did not represent any client when he dropped the hoax Alfa Bank data on his desk?
Who knows? It’s all just the random firing of neurons in an unstable mind.

  26. Emery Says:

^ So the Trump “hoax” hoax unravels even more. No surprise there.

  27. Joe Doakes Says:

If nobody gets convicted, no crime was committed.

  28. kinlaw Says:

    Tell about Mueller then troll.

  29. bosshoss429 Says:

Poor dumb Emery. A lying, paid off left wing scum ball is acquitted by another lying, paid off left wing scum ball judge, who was installed by yet another lying, paid off left wing scum ball and he spouts crap. It’s OK with lefty scum balls like Emery, when their heroes make their own laws and rules. Once again, you can’t have dysfunctional without DFL.

  30. Emery Says:

SiTD is already ablaze with MAGA outrage and conspiracy theories that the trial was rigged and that Durham had Sussmann dead to rights in a slam dunk case. Another sad sign that Trump supporters are incapable of accepting an outcome of any democratic process that they don’t like.

3 years, 12 jurors, 6 hours. Unanimous “not guilty.” Quite some track record for Mr. Durham.

  31. bikebubba Says:

Regarding the Sussman trial, the evidence wasn’t unclear at all. He was on the payroll of the Clintons, but he presented himself to the FBI as though he was not. What happened here was a somewhat worse version of the OJ Simpson trial; jurors simply refused to accept the evidence and act on it.

And here’s the article MP’s referring to: https://www.foxnews.com/media/sussmann-trial-jury-clinton-aoc-donor-sussmann-turley

If this is true, the judge that handled the trial needs to be disbarred. In the trial, Clinton was effectively a co-defendant, and they had three donors to her campaign there? Seriously? Plus a person connected to Sussmann himself?

  32. Emery Says:

^ You mean it’s another Benghazi or her email. I’m shocked. And with the true believers this result is merely further evidence of the deep state conspiracy.

  33. Scott Hughes Says:

Nice play Emery. Moving the tread from conversation of Biden’s mental acuity to the outcome of the Sussman trial, (and of course your TDS).

  34. kinlaw Says:

Yeah, it’s just another “squirrel” day for the troll.

So no Americans died at Benghazi while Hills was Sec State? Ah, I see.

And if it wasn’t a hoax, why did Mueller, after 2 years, 33 million dollars, and hundreds of thousands of documents, find zero evidence of collusion? Can’t answer that, can you troll?

  35. Emery Says:

As mentioned earlier—both Biden and Trump are too old. However, I also feel like this is an end of an era and we need the next generation to step to the center of the stage. The same goes for Feinstein, Grassley, Sanders, Graham, Shumer, Pelosi, etc. etc. Most folks should know when enough is enough.

  36. Joe Doakes Says:

When obvious criminals get off scot-free, it causes community discontent. When enough discontent accumulates, protests break out and sometimes turn violent. When enough protests are ruthlessly suppressed by the same powers that let the obvious criminals off scot-free, a certain portion of the public becomes convinced that the current political situation is beyond saving and must be replaced. That’s when they write documents which being with phrases like: When, in the course of human events, it becomes necessary . . . .

Yes, E, your side just let another obvious criminal off scot-free. Not necessarily a long-term good thing.

  37. Emery Says:

^ It is impossible to find something that isn’t there. Durham has yet to fulfill expectations from Trump and his MAGA supporters that he would uncover and prosecute a ‘deep state’ conspiracy against Trump. Much like systemic voter fraud it doesn’t exist. It took the jury six hours. That included lunch, and probably some time to pick a foreman.

  38. bosshoss429 Says:

Keep your head up your ass, Emery. I can’t wait until the people that you are supporting, turn on you. Oh! Wait! They already did. Just like the rest of you wokies, you’re just too dumb and blind to see it. By the way, sfb, Trump passed a cognitive test. Your senile Pedo refuses to take one.

  39. golfdoc50 Says:

Jury misconduct is real and not rare. OJ Simpson. Derek Chauvin. Kim Potter. It’s possible to believe the jury system is fundamentally a good idea while decrying its errors.

  40. Mammuthus Primigenesis Says:

    Emery’s hallucinatory ramblings continue.
Conservative pundits have been speculating FOR WEEKS that Sussman would be acquitted, not because of a polluted jury pool, but because the Sussman lie was not connected to any criminal charge. Juries are reluctant to convict a person for lying to a law officer when they are not under oath and not in the furtherance of an actual charged crime.

Generally you don’t prosecute cases you know that you can’t win. Is Durham incompetent? I don’t know, but I am glad that he put another nail in the “Russian collusion” conspiracy theory. It was Hillary all along.
FYI, I can remember reading the original Alfa Bank story in the Times back on October 31st, 2016. It seemed pretty hokey then, it looked like normal email security stuff, validating a mail server to decide whether or not the email should go in the spam folder.

  41. Mammuthus Primigenesis Says:

Bikebubba, I think that Sussman skated in part because of the judge’s instructions to the jury. Although Sussman’s DM to Baker was in essence an admission of guilt, the charge of lying to a federale was confined to the actual conversation between Sussman and Baker, so the judge did not allow the jury to consider the DM. It happens, we have a corrupt system, we have always had a corrupt system.

  42. Mammuthus Primigenesis Says:

But getting back to the awful mistake that is named “President Joe Biden,” the story is that the neoliberals in the D party were terrified that Sanders would get the nomination so pulled in ol’ Slow Joe out of retirement.
Sanders would have lost the presidential election election. Although the media presented Sanders as a L wing populist, he was (and is) a hard core socialist out of the Soviet model. I have listened to his economic advisers on podcasts, they are Chomskyites, complete believers in MMT, and Stalinists in their style of debating. For example if you ask them about why public schools are obsessed with race and sexuality, they will deny the problem and immediately change the topic to the issue of school district budgets being based on local property taxes rather than the local school system’s need for resources.

  43. Mammuthus Primigenesis Says:

NBC reports on the problems in the Biden White House:
    https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/white-house/biden-white-house-adrift-rcna30121
Since it is the MSM, the article understates the problem. I do not know if Biden will be the Dem nominee in 2024, but I do know that the Dems are frantically looking for alternatives. And, so far, finding none. Sanders and Warren are the favorites of the Dem base, but they scare the Dem donors who finance billion dollar elections, and they are the only Dems with national popularity.

  44. Mammuthus Primigenesis Says:

    From the NBC article:
Amid a rolling series of calamities, Biden’s feeling lately is that he just can’t catch a break. “Biden is frustrated. If it’s not one thing, it’s another,” said a person close to the president.
An assumption baked into Biden’s candidacy was that he would preside over a smoothly running administration by dint of his decades of experience in public office. Yet there are signs of managerial breakdowns that have angered both him and his party.

“Baked in” Seriously? Biden had been known as “Slow Joe” for decades. There is no field of human endeavor for which he has ever demonstrated mere competence. Obama chose him for the VP slot because he thought that he needed an old white guy on the ticket, and there was no one older or whiter than Slow Joe. Prior to being Obama’s veep, he was senator from a tiny state with fewer people than Hennepin county. As Senator from Delaware, he doggedly defended the interests of credit card companies and mesothelioma class action lawyers.
He has been a feckless president. He has doggedly pursued policies that caused inflation and wrecked our energy independence. He spends political capital on legislation that he knows will fail. Biden could not be a worse president if he tried.

  45. Emery Says:

    But, but, but …
    Wait for the Durham report.

What a giant nothing burger. From six years ago.

  46. Mammuthus Primigenesis Says:

Just so we are clear how bad things are at the top:
The issue came to a head when Biden ad-libbed during a speech in Poland that Russian President Vladimir Putin “cannot remain in power.” Within minutes, Biden’s aides tried to walk back his comments, saying he hadn’t called for Putin’s removal and that U.S. policy was unchanged. Biden was furious that his remarks were being seen as unreliable, arguing that he speaks genuinely and reminding his staff that he’s the one who is president.
Asked about the staff’s practice of clarifying Biden’s remarks, the official said: “We don’t say anything that the president doesn’t want us to say.”

Biden has to remind people that he is president.

  47. Emery Says:

Russia’s ‘failure to pay’ bond interest triggers credit default swaps ~ WSJ

To paraphrase one of Putin’s former admirers, so much winning.

  48. bikebubba Says:

Emery, imagine how much more quickly that would have happened if President Chamberlain had done his legal duty and actually issued drilling permits to keep the U.S. petroleum industry going and drive down Russian petroleum revenues.

Just sayin’. Even if I believed global warming was a big deal, I would hope I’d be awake enough to figure out “you know, war’s also an environmental disaster….maybe I ought to take some steps to make that less palatable for Moscow”. And if he hadn’t authorized a “limited incursion”, that would have helped, too.

(yes, sending 70% of Russian BTGs into Ukraine doesn’t count as a “limited” effort by any sane measure, but Biden did give Russia cover)

  49. Mammuthus Primigenesis Says:

    Biden’s Memorial Day address:
Ladies and gentlemen, today we remember, and we reaffirm: Freedom is worth the sacrifice. Democracy is not perfect; it’s never been good — perfect.
But it’s worth fighting for; if necessary, worth dying for.

But not by him. Five deferments. Because of asthma, despite being a life guard and playing college football.

  50. Emery Says:

In a way, Durham has provided a valuable service. His inability to uncover evidence of a hoax confirms that Trump’s denials and diversions have been the real hoax all along.

The MAGA crowd went from “Durham’s bringing down the Deep State!” to “we all knew the corrupt DC courts would never convict Sussmann”….
