Home invaders in Minneapolis beat a woman and her daughter, film the whole thing.

But remember – the real problem is mean tweets.

That’s not true.

The real problem is, when peoples taxes don’t buy law and order, they will get it for themselves. And that’s usually not done via the anarcho-capitalist fantasy of spontaneous self-organization of groups of sovereign individuals.

  1. The real problem is, when peoples taxes don’t buy law and order, they will get it for themselves

Are you sure this is the conclusion you want to draw? Or the example you want to use to back it up? I mean, I agree with the conclusion, but I thought this group broke into the woman’s apartment to beat her (and her mother) for reporting on someone in the group (or someone related) to the police. I mean, this is classic tribal behavior, imported and blessed by our betters.

  2. Next time, they’ll drag her out to the street, burn tires around her neck and ululate in triumph.

  3. Well said. Citizen justice is all too often cases like this, where people gang up on the victims instead of the offenders. In this case, it’s a special level of sick that I’ve personally seen way too often; friends of a person accused of sexual assault brutalizing the alleged victim. I’ve even seen it with the parents of a victim.

  4. The word “sheriff” comes from “Shire Reeve” – a position appointed by the King or Queen to a district to “keep the King’s peace”. That is, the Crown knew that if there wasn’t a clear system of justice and deterrence, the lawlessness would reach a state where the population would resort to unauthorized reprisals and revenge – and perhaps even start thinking “revolutionary” thoughts. The King or Queen didn’t care about individuals so much, but they did care about “peace”.

It’s nice to think about people living in peace and justice with one another, but the fact is that those most willing, and most able, to do violence end up “ruling” an area. I will always be on guard against state-backed violence and will demand that it be held accountable, but it’s better than being ruled by the Biggest and Baddest, from whom there is no accountability.

  5. You people who dream of unicorns and leprechauns and people getting enough are silly. You’ll just wait for one more, just ONE more house to be vacant before moving. Because laws don’t exist to protect you anymore – only the protected class. And that protected class will do what they want because after this incident nobody will be reporting to police anymore and all will be awesome – see, no reports, no crime! But go ahead, wait for that water to get hotter… you’ll be boiled well before flying pigs exchange woke for sane in your foresaken city.

  6. More of those darn Maga voters, more of that white on Asian crime, more of that…er, wait a minute.

  7. jpa is right about the elites, they are salivating over this. They don’t give a rats a** about people, just power. Chaos in the streets is where marxism begins.

  8. What’s interesting to me is that the mob committing the assault apparently wants this disseminated. No doubt as a warning to others.

It reminds me of the Germans wiping the village of Lidice, quite literally, off the map as retribution for the assassination attempt on Reinhard Heydrich that ultimately resulted in his death. From an old blogpost of mine:

Lidice itself was wiped from the map. The 96 homes, the church, the city hall, the school: everything was burned, then the ruins exploded, and topsoil brought in to cover it all. The graves in the cemetery were opened and looted, and the remains destroyed. The stream that ran through the village was rerouted, as were the roads leading in and leading out. Nazi propaganda proudly broadcast the news throughout occupied territory and to the West as an example for others. Several towns around the world renamed themselves in a show of support and defiance. Only a handful of Lidice women ever returned.*

The Nazis were proud of what they did. Total terror was the way they enforced their control in the occupied lands of Europe where they didn’t have enough troops to police so much territory. It was more efficient to keep the population intimidated. Today there aren’t enough thugs to abuse everyone, but applying enough pressure will have everyone keeping their heads down, or constantly looking over their shoulder, accomplishing the same thing.

  9. I’d be willing to bet a 12 gauge (or any gun for that matter) could have sent that mob running for their life.

  11. I don’t know what you guys are all worked up about. This is an example of applying a traditional solution to an age-old problem.

What do you as a woman do when some skank says your man wanted her sexually but she turned him down? That’s obviously a huge insult to you. How do you get her to take it back?

If you have money, you go to court and let the lawyers fight it out. If you can’t, you go to her residence and fight it out yourselves. It was that way in The Old Country and it’s still that way here.

Doesn’t matter if the residence is a bombed-out building in Africa, an apartment in the Ghetto In The Sky or a single-wide in the trailer park, this is not about geography or race, this is how people in that socio-economic stratum handle interpersonal relationship disputes.

  12. The question is: “Who was holding the camera?”
    I know the answer.
    Umbrella Man.
