Moment Of Clarity
By Mitch Berg
Joe Doakes from Como park emails m:
Government shooting dogs to prevent people traveling to rescue them, which might spread Covid.
Government shooting citizens to prevent protests against lock-downs, which do nothing to prevent the spread of Covid.
In a country where ordinary citizens are not allowed to own guns so they have no effective means to resist.
The Second Amendment is not about hunting. It’s not about defending yourself from criminals. It’s about resisting tyranny.
The Taliban knows that, which is why they’re systematically disarming citizens.
The Australians, the Taliban and the Garden Administration – all on the same page.
Joe Doakes
Even some liberals are figuring that out.
Not “progressives”, of course. But some liberals.

I posted that the other day, MP. The least you could do is warn the little weasel so he doesn’t cum in his pants.

On one hand, if had the money to do it, I would organize a “Fast and Furious” for the citizens of Australia. On the other hand, I can’t believe that they didn’t fight back instead of just surrendering their weapons. Certainly they should have done something when within seven months of the confiscation, violent home invasions jumped up 43%. Maybe some people like being controlled.

The mask fetish is interesting. Sceince says that they do little or nothing to protect the infected wearer from spreading the disease, or the uninfected from contracting it. We know that the politicians and bureaucrats who promote mask mandates ignore their own mandates when they are inconvenient, meaning that they don’t believe they do a damn thing.
Mask mandates, social distancing mandates, business closures and restrictions are together called “NPI’s” (Non Pharmaceutical Interventions). These are identical to social controls, and are issued with the force of law, in most cases, without legislative input or judicial review.
So why the isnistence on NPI’s? There is not much evidence that they work to slow the spread of covid. There have been no published studies that show that they are worth the economic cost they impose.
Some people, ordinary citizens, are clearly fetishizing mask wearing.
If you are under the age of thirty and in nominal good health, you have about a 0% chance of suffering any ill effects from covid. Yet there is a sizable portion of the population that insists that people under the age of 30 — children as young as 12 — be vaccinated and wear Masks in public. There is no reason for this.
The arguments about masks/no-masks for school children is because the class rooms are a public space, it is an area where a parent can literally control how other parents raise their children. Parents send their children to be cared for by strangers in groups with other people’s childen for six or seven hours each day. It is an area of family life that breeds neuroticism, e.g. baseless anxiety.

A country that gave up it’s weapons without a whimper. Now they are getting it good and hard.

The “truckies” in Australia and New Zealand are planning to conduct routine safety inspections on their trucks, on the highway, starting next Tuesday. They think the inspections might take a week or two to finish….they want to be thorough.
Power mad reprobates get their food and toilet paper from the same trucks as everyone else. Let them eat cake.

I suspect, since leftists programmed them, the mod bots don’t like VPN’s, much less the Tor browser. Tough shit.
August 25th, 2021 at 10:16 am
On masking children in school we should FOLLOW THE SCIENCE . . . (of push polling).
Now it makes sense.
August 25th, 2021 at 10:25 am
The free market works. To me it makes sense since Delta will able to point to actuarial data supporting the higher costs and being non-vaccinated as an actual risk corridor.
August 25th, 2021 at 10:30 am
The CDC is up to their usual fuckery with data.
“On July 25, the SARS-CoV-2 infection rate among unvaccinated
persons was 4.9 times and the hospitalization rate was 29.2 times
the rates among fully vaccinated persons.”
Oh really? (Concerned look.jpg)…until you read the fine print.
“Persons were considered fully vaccinated ≥14 days after receipt of the second dose in a 2-dose series (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccines) or after 1 dose of the single dose Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) COVID-19 vaccine; partially vaccinated ≥14 days after receipt of the first dose and <14 days after the second dose in a 2-dose series; and unvaccinated <14 days after receipt of the first dose of a 2-dose series or 1 dose of the single-dose vaccine or if no CAIR2 vaccination data were available.
COVID-19–associated hospitalizations were defined as hospital admissions occurring ≤14 days after a first SARS-CoV-2 infection. COVID-19–associated deaths were defined as deaths occurring ≤60 days after the date of a first laboratory-confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infection or deaths with COVID-19 listed as a cause of or contributing condition
to death.”
So if you go to the hospital within 2 weeks of getting the juice, they count you…but they give it two *months* to contribute your death to bat flu.
And who are these witless victims of disinformation? Same as it ever was:
“Among hospitalized persons and persons admitted to an intensive care unit, the median age was higher among vaccinated persons IQR [interquartile range~ed] = 53.0–76.0 years; and partially vaccinated persons IQR=57.0–80.0, than among unvaccinated persons IQR = 41.0–66.0.”
Obesity, diabetes and old people.
Enough of this bullshit, eh?
August 25th, 2021 at 10:42 am
The Free market works both ways…too bad for reprobates.
“More than 150 Houston hospital workers fired or quit after refusing COVID-19 vaccine”
“Maine Hospitals Brace For Small Number Of Staff To Quit Over New Vaccine Mandate” (Why would you brace for a small number? = FAke news)
“In fact, nationwide, 1 in 4 hospital workers who have direct contact with patients had not received a single dose of a COVID-19 vaccine by the end of May, according to a WebMD and Medscape Medical”
“Employed Americans (18%) said they are most likely to quit a job immediately if faced with COVID-19 vaccination and/or mask mandates”
“Oregon schools, nurses worry Gov. Brown’s vaccine mandate could cost them crucial staff”
“Health Care Unions Work to Stop Vaccine Mandates…” (Uh oh…there go those donations)
“COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy is above average for healthcare workers.
In Ohio, 60% of nursing-home workers decided against a vaccine in December, Gov. Mike DeWine said.
Up to 40% of frontline workers in Los Angeles have also refused a COVID-19 shot, public-health officials told the Los Angeles Times. In the neighboring Riverside County, this figure rose to 50%.”
“Mandating vaccines amid a worker shortage could spell trouble for corporate America
It’s so hard to find workers now that, if you know a certain percentage of your workers are going to quit [due to a vaccine mandate], you’re not going to disrupt that,” said one HR expert.”
Go ahead; fire away.
August 25th, 2021 at 10:42 am
I suspect this is just the start as Delta is addressing the measurable actuarial data supporting their decision. Life insurance, long term disability and long term care premiums could also be affected.
As people like to say “Freedom isn’t free….”
August 25th, 2021 at 10:43 am
“Delta Airlines cancelled about 100 flights on Sunday because of pilot shortages. Delta also opened middle seats on Sunday and Monday to increase passenger capacity. Some of the employees were reportedly having adverse side effects from the COVID-19 vaccinations.”
August 25th, 2021 at 11:05 am
Emery, you continue to prove how ignorant you are, trying to justify that ignorance for taking the jabs. If hospital beds in the ICUs are jammed with WuFlu sufferers, why do hospitals risk losing employees who refuse the jab?! How did 75 doctors and nurses stage a walkout that lasted several minutes, to highlight their exhaustion and over work due to unjabbed patients?! Further, why aren’t the hordes coming across our southern border, and the thousands of homeless people being mandated to take the jabs?! You actually make a comical picture, as we watch your masters piss in both your legs and tell you it’s raining!
August 25th, 2021 at 11:18 am
Look out carrots, here come the sticks. It’s a mini-step. United Airlines has it right. Mandate vaccines. Get vaccinated or find another job.
August 25th, 2021 at 11:24 am
Hahaha! Here come the sticks. What a jovial way to excuse another fascist gambit.

United CEO warns America could face a pilot shortage
August 25th, 2021 at 11:45 am
Another swing and a miss for Twat — anecdote isn’t data.
“United Airlines CEO Scott Kirby said on Sunday that the U.S. could face a possible pilot shortage. During an interview with “Axios on HBO,” Kirby said the United States could face the shortage because the military is not producing as many pilots as it did previously.”
August 25th, 2021 at 12:06 pm
Oh…not enough military pilots?
Military Braces For Early Retirement, Discharges
“Since the move by the Pentagon to mandate the Covid vaccine, military and civilian lawyers have been inundated with calls seeking advice on seeking early separation.”
“The distrust among some service members is not only a reflection of the broader public’s feelings about the COVID-19 vaccines, which were quickly authorized for emergency use, but stems in part from the anthrax program’s troubles.
Scores of troops refused to take that vaccine. Some left the service. Others were disciplined. Some were court martialed and kicked out of the military with other-than-honorable discharges.
In 2003, a federal judge agreed with service members who filed a lawsuit asserting the military could not administer a vaccine that had not been fully licensed without their consent, and stopped the program.
The Pentagon started it back up in 2004 after the FDA issued an approval, but the judge stopped it again after ruling the FDA had not followed procedures.”
Woke airlines are going to have to recruit and train their own pilots. #Sad
August 25th, 2021 at 12:21 pm
Good thing good qualified pilots are easily replaced eh Em…
August 25th, 2021 at 12:25 pm
And doctors, nurses, nursing home attendants….the fucking restaurants can’t even get a $12/hr waiter for $15.
These mandates are going to backfire, bigly. The leftist reprobates are behind them, so it’s uuum, oh yeah, inevitable.
August 25th, 2021 at 12:27 pm
Remember my post from a few days ago about nursing home staff shortages to be caused by vaccine mandates? Hospitals are feeling it already and next it will be pilots – flight cancellations for lack of crew are skyrocketing. Soon it will be lack of passengers causing airlines to lose billions and seek bankruptcy or bailout. The former employees will go on the dole requiring every more government spending.
All is proceeding according to plan.
August 25th, 2021 at 12:38 pm
They mandae when they can mandate.
There isn’t a lot of overlap on the venn diagram showing “things that can be mandated” and “things that reduce the spread of covid.”
Where have I heard this before?
“Fifteen days to flatten the curve”
“Testing! We need more testing!”
“Ventilators! We need more ventilators!”
We need more hospital rooms — shove those oldsters back in the nursing home!”
“Vaccine! We need a vaccine!”
And now it is “We need vaccine mandates!”
Which you would not need at all if covid was the pandemic the elites had hyped it to be.
So many mistakes, and all of them by politicians and public health officials.
August 25th, 2021 at 1:10 pm
“Which you would not need at all if covid was the pandemic the elites had hyped it to be.”
MP – that’s exactly right. People aren’t stupid. They know enough to look out for themselves. They’ve done it all their lives, before Covid.
When Governor Walz told us 70,000 Minnesotans would die if he didn’t act, but only 50,000 would die if he enacted the strongest lockdown – just 15 days to flatten the curve – we all went along because we trusted him.
But now, 18 months later, ordinary people are starting to wonder. If they saw bodies laying in the streets on the way to the market, saw dead teachers stacked outside schools, saw the corpses of their friends and neighbors lying on gurneys left to die in hospital hallways and parking lots . . . they’d say, “Hmmm, looks bad. Walz was right. I’d better take sensible precautions so I don’t die, too. Gimme the vaccine.”
But they’re not seeing bodies stacked up. They’re not seeking dead kids or neighbors. The people who died were mostly old sick people and they were going to die soon, anyway. That makes people think, “What’s all the yelling about? This isn’t a problem, it’s a bunch of nothing. Leave us alone.”
So the government – being so much smarter than everybody else – must order people to lockdown, or mask up, or vaccinate, or all three, to avoid fines or prison or being shot in the streets. And that makes people think, “What the hell? This is crazy. What’s really going on? I’m going to look on the web to find out.”
So government must ask the media including social media, not to let people know what’s going on, but only to recite the government-approved talking points. That leaves people uncertain and frustrated but feeling powerless because they don’t know which way to turn for the truth, so they can order their own lives.
And that’s how you get where we are now.

My mother and her husband, both in their 80s and moderately healthyfor their ages, contracted covid las November. It was like a bad flu. Each went to the ER because that’s where they were sent when they called their family practioner, not because they needed ER care.
Both were over it in a week and back to normal.
August 25th, 2021 at 1:22 pm
The goal of the “public health Officials” like Fauci was to prevent the health care system from collapsing, not to react to the pandemic with common sense.
In Britain, the government adopted the slogan “Save the NHS.”
Wags retorted “Isn’t the NHS supposed to save us?”

NPR takes a swing at high and fast bullshit….whiffs
“Israel was the first country on Earth to fully vaccinate a majority of its citizens against COVID-19. Now it has one of the world’s highest daily infection rates — an average of nearly 7,500 confirmed cases a day, double what it was two weeks ago. Nearly one in every 150 people in Israel today has the virus.”
“What happened, and what can be learned about the vaccine’s impact on a highly vaccinated country? Here are six lessons learned”
“Immunity from the vaccine dips over time.”
(There is no immunity)
“The delta variant broke through the vaccine’s waning protection”
(So the bug juice is shit)
“If you get infected, being vaccinated helps.”
(Unless you’re over 60, are obese, have diabetes or other known co-morbidities…just like everyone else)
“The bad news, doctors say, is that half of Israel’s seriously ill patients who are currently hospitalized were fully vaccinated at least five months ago. Most of them are over 60 years old and have comorbidities.”
” Israel’s high vaccination rate isn’t high enough.”
(It’s 80%!)
“Only around 8% of Palestinians have been fully vaccinated. But the Palestinian population is not a source of transmission in Israel. Only vaccinated Palestinians are given permits to enter Israel and Israeli settlements.”
(Unlike our Southern border, where 25% of the Guatamexidorian invaders have active Covid.)
The bug juice is an IQ Test…get it, and we know you’re, at best, a 90 IQ dimwit.

” American Airlines, Spirit cancel hundreds more flights due to storms, staffing August 3, 2021″
“A lack of flight crews is reported to have contributed to those specific cancellations. As a result of the ongoing setbacks, American Airlines announced that they will continue to cancel flights …”
“The cancellations are due to a lack of pilots, according to the site View From the Wing. ”
“Delays and cancellations this summer have become a common problem for the whole industry. According to the tracking service Flightaware.com, Southwest Airlines delayed 40 percent and canceled 3 percent of its flights in June. American Airlines delayed 34 percent and canceled 3 percent. Those numbers have increased since before the pandemic: According to U.S. Department of Transportation, on average airlines delayed 27 percent of flights in June 2019, and canceled 2 percent. Main reasons why companies are struggling and let down passengers now are the lack of staffing…”
It’s time to use the stick!!
August 25th, 2021 at 4:25 pm
It bears repeating that little of the public health response to covid is driven by empirical data or experience gained from previous pandemics. NPI mandates? New, on the scale and extent they are being done now. Introducing a vaccine during the epidemic? Hasn’t been done before. Remember that they are flying blind, and all of the mistakes that they have made are easily understood.
They are flailing.
August 26th, 2021 at 8:13 am
It’s a pandemic?!
Quick, close some hospitals & lay off the doctor’s & nurses!
Then quarantine the healthy!
And don’t forget to shoot the rescue dogs!
LET’S GET MOVING, PEOPLE! LIVES ARE AT STAKE!
