Indoctrination

Whatever you do, don’t you dare suggest public schools have become leftist indoctrination factories:

According to whistleblower documents and a source within the school, a fifth-grade teacher at the inner-city William D. Kelley School designed a social studies curriculum to celebrate Davis, praising the “black communist” for her fight against “injustice and inequality.” As part of the lesson, the teacher asked students to “describe Davis’ early life,” reflect on her vision of social change, and “define communist”—presumably in favorable terms.

At the conclusion of the unit, the teacher led the ten- and eleven-year-old students into the school auditorium to “simulate” a Black Power rally to “free Angela Davis” from prison, where she had once been held while awaiting trial on charges of conspiracy, kidnapping, and murder. The students marched on the stage, holding signs that read “Black Power,” “Jail Trump,” “Free Angela,” and “Black Power Matters.” They chanted about Africa and ancestral power, then shouted “Free Angela! Free Angela!” as they stood at the front of the stage.

Apologists may respond “this is an anomaly! Not all public schools try to get away with this kind of thing!”

No. Just the ones in districts so blue that there will be no consequences – serving both to socialize (heh heh) the concept with other teachers, and to lower the bar of what’s “acceptable” elsewhere; “Oh, fer gosh sakes, Edina doesn’t have them chant “Free Angela” and talk about black “ancestral power”. No, perish the thought. We just study why Angela Davis is a hero (omitting all context about her crimes and communism itself, naturally), and why “whiteness” is a social cancer. Totally different things!”

Remember – Berg’s 21st Law is pretty clear on this: “When it comes to “progressive” policy, yesterday’s absurd joke is today’s serious proposal and tomorrow’s potential law”

Don’t be surprised.

  1. Oh come on, it’s all good fun, what’s the harm? It’s not as if those students are failing to read and cipher at grade level. It’s not as if they’re failing to learn useful shop skills to make their own car and home repairs. It’s not as if their education is such as waste of time that these kids will be a drain on society until it ultimately collapses from the drag of so many freeloaders . . .

  2. I think that the educational theory behind this, dreamed up by people with PhD’s, is what is officially known as “bat shit crazy.”
The idea is that you teach people that their racial identity is the only important part of their identity, and that your race can only advance by taking things from people of a different race.
Only when all people believe this will the justice and peace and harmony poureth out from Heaven like a gentle summer rain shower.

  3. As I visit my customers in the trades, cabinet shops, machine and fabrication shops, they lament that can’t fathom what will happen to their businesses in about 10 – 15 years. The people coming in, even those that have some trade school learning, have no work ethic. They think that they know it all and want to be paid accordingly.

My nephew is learning the plumbing trade. Even though it seems that their are about 100 plumbing companies out there, most of them are being operated by older workers who will retire soon. Due to the scarcity of plumbers, just one trade, he expects to be making six figures by the time he’s 27. Similarly, an electrician friend, says that he’s already close to that.

  4. I saw a doctor about my carpal tunnel problems Wednesday, and he suggested a cortizone shot to my right wrist first instead of immediate surgery. Thursday, I noticed that I could see the spot where he gave me the shot, and the band aid that was applied by a person of color was about an inch below the place where I had the shot. Not good.

  5. I shouldn’t have used POC. It was a Hmong woman. A rural Wisconsin hospital with an Amish horse and buggy sign designating parking for them.

  6. Did you also notice that it is perfectly OK to kill and terrorize in the new curriculum, as long as you are of the chosen race and/or belong to a specific political affiliation? Constitution and the Bill of Rights? Hell, Ten Commandments mean nothing to this crowd.

  8. No conservative has the right to bitch about this until they see a GOP sample ballot with vetted candidates for every school board race.

Otherwise, what the hell is the Republican party good for…beside making Mitt Romney and his buddies rich?

  9. Greg, for your information the word “conservative” and “Republican party” have nothing in common.

  10. There is a meme going around Houston that maybe schools should teach survival skills instead of CRT so people would not die from running their cars in a closed garage to keep warm.

  11. Leaders like Angela Davis are why more blacks have not taken advantage of the incredibly generous opportunities the White majority have bestowed on them.

Instead of using the special preferences in hiring and education, so many spit it back at the urging of Communist and black supremacists. Stay angry, they said. Education is White mans culture, they said. Why should you take a job when they should give you the company, they said.

Now we have, perhaps 1/2 of the black population, uneducated and unskilled, running amok in every major American city. There is absolutely no incentive for them to improve themselves.

I don’t know what will happen. They’re not going to get reparations, and even if they did, the last 50 years have proved beyond doubt that few of them would do anything constructive with the money.

    It’s a fucking mess.

  12. Generation after generation after generation of women having babies without a husband around to help raise those children is why the illegitimacy rate has produced so many young criminals. Unfortunately, it will only get worse.

  13. They’re not going to get reparations

Oh, they’ll get it. And when they blow it all within months, they’ll be back for more, because they can, and they’ll get it. Again, and again, and again, and again…

  14. Greg, for your information the word “conservative” and “Republican party” have nothing in common.

    Not sure what that means.

I don’t know any conservatives who are DFL’rs. I know quite a few who are Republicans. Logic would dictate that conservatives would channel their political power through the GOP.

    Hey, it worked for Trump.

  15. “Reparations” does not mean what you think it means, nor is it what it is being sold as.
The result will be money spent by the feds & maybe the states on African-American Communities. Money will be funneled through activists. to operations that provide a return in grift. There will be no checks written by individual white Americans to individual black Americans.

  16. MO is correct Reparations = full Federal funding for Marxist NGOs like BLM. The grift has already been established i.e. “10% for the Big Guy”

  17. There will be no checks written by individual white Americans to individual black Americans.

Not by this individual White American, I can 100% guarantee that.

  18. I beg to differ. There will be criteria set up, tests, a new goobernmental agency to administer it, but there will indeed be individual cheques written. Votes have to be bought individually.

  19. JPA, it is hard to imagine that there could be higher constitutional barrier than the one standing before “white Americans must write checks to black Americans.”
