  1. Knock on the door of a house with an “All are welcome here” sign on the lawn. Try to talk to them about Jesus, or the Book of Mormon. Or solicit money for the NRA or the GOP.
Do the Left commenters here strike you as being against hate?
All you get from them is irrational, frothing hatred.
The Left does not want to eliminate ‘hate,’ they want to license it.

  2. Reason, logic and evidence are, themselves, tools used by the White Patriarchy to oppress womyn, persons of color, the gender-fluid and the mentally infirm.

Slogans, requiring no specific mental abilities and being adoptable by anyone, are the only fair way to make public policy.

  3. Pure conspiracy nutters, I tells ya:

But, according to the poll, while 69 percent of Democrats say it is not at all likely (61 percent) or not very likely (8 percent) that the election was stolen from Trump, 30 percent of Democrats believe it is very likely (20 percent) or somewhat likely (10 percent) that it was.

Let me repeat, nearly a third of Democrats believe it is likely that the election was stolen from President Trump. That’s a remarkable number. Huge, in fact.

    (Rasmussen poll)

Nothing to see here, move a long

  4. To be honest, I don’t understand the point of this sign. Those intelligent enough to understand what, say, “semantically overloaded aphorisms” means will be offended. And then they’ll get their friends who don’t understand but like violence to take care of the sign, vandalize the property where the sign is located and perhaps the owners. Caustic chemicals won’t matter. C’mon.

And really, the text is pretentious BS. How do you have a respectful and rational discussion with people who support abortion (much less in the 3rd trimester), are against voter ID (and its immediate consequence, fraud), want thousands of American troops stationed (and shot at) overseas for no particular reason, and/or are against enforcing the nation’s borders. These aren’t complex ideas, these are simple right and wrong.

If you haven’t learned by now the character of our political opponents, the left, aka the c0mmies, well, god bless and good luck.

  5. Well, Emery, you are quite pathetic with your insult to Democrats who, unlike you and your brother Paddywhacker, are actually capable of free, independent thought and reasoning. I have six such friends and all of them have buyer’s remorse for voting for Walz in 2018 and were planning on voting for Biden, until Hunter’s tape and his illegal payments to his family members came out. I will emphasize that two of these people, have Masters degrees and work in government positions. They learned enough about what was going on there, to swing their votes to Trump. Further, they saw Biden and especially Harris, as true threats to the country.

  6. Why do Trump supporters turn to Hunter, Hillary and Obama all the time? Can’t they argue their case on its own merits?

  7. Well Emery, it is like this.

If the election litigation turns in your favor you will have elected a slobbering influence peddler as President and a political prostitute as VP.

You then might want to rethink the concept of arguing things on their merits.

    Just say’n.

  8. 👆 When do you think the president’s legal team will present the evidence to support their claims?

For non-lawyers, this is what a complete ass- kicking of the president’s legal effort looks like.

“This Court has been presented with strained legal arguments without merit and speculative accusations, unpled in the operative complaint and unsupported by evidence“ ~ U.S. District Judge Matthew Brann

Trump and his allies are now 2-34 in post election litigation.

  9. Threadjack. And as usual, the blog owner is only happy to continue to surrender control of the comment section to the trollbots.

  10. jpa, but at least the trolls will know how strongly he feels about “respectful and rational discussions about complex ideas”.

  11. Deep thinking… by non-lemmings.. yep.

This is what winning looks like, and I’m damned tired of it. Excerpt from a column on the G20 summit.
“…Evidence of the shifting attitude toward the outgoing US administration came from the lips of Saudi’s Minister of Investment, Khalid al-Falih. “When the world needed leadership [to combat Covid-19] there was none,” he said. The G20 had stepped up because some nations “turned inwards towards nationalism.” Al-Falih didn’t mention Trump by name. He didn’t need to; his audience understood.”

That’s from a Trump ALLY – Trump’s has been on the golf course nearly 1 in 4 of his days in office, this from a man who used to bitch about Obama golfing. If you don’t get that Trump is a huckster who never means anything other than when he’s talking about helping himself, you’re a lemming, but don’t take my word for it, this is from Kevin Williamson, at the highly “liberal” National Review…

“And what we are seeing now, in the twilight of Trump’s kookery, is the merger of QAnon, the Republican Party, and the large part of the conservative movement that earns its bread by peddling miracle veggie pills to gullible elderly people on the radio..Rather than ask whether conspiracy kookery is relevant to Republican politics at this moment, it would be better to ask if there is anything else to Republican politics at this moment. And maybe there is, but not much.
This raises some uncomfortable questions for conservatives. One of those questions is: How long are we going to keep pretending that this madness isn’t madness? Another is: How long will we continue to pretend that what’s being broadcast by Fox News and talk radio is political commentary rather than the most shameful, irresponsible, and unpatriotic kind of sycophantic for-profit propaganda? A third is: What exactly is the benefit — for our ideas, and for the country — of making common cause with these lunatics and hucksters?”

His point is, your ass-kissing of Trump and embracing his idiotic, unproven, conspiracy theories, has shredded your party’s reputation, as well as destroyed your own. He writes better than do I (no surprise, it’s not my vocation), I’d encourage you to reconsider whether your “house” pedals in anything other than the snake oil of your fearless leader.

  12. I feel sorry for Peeve, don’t you? Utterly consumed by hatred of his fellow Americans.
Ditto for Williams and Jonah Goldberg. Turns out that they hate the country because it elected a president they didn’t like.

  13. “embracing his idiotic, unproven, conspiracy theories, has shredded your party’s reputation, as well as destroyed your own.”

Muh Russhins & golden showers didn’t hurt the reprobates at all,. And you have Hunter Biden’s penis to thank for that.
