Turns out, moving to Canada is a lot harder than people thought. Australia is pretty picky, too, about who they let in, IIRC.

You are correct. These “I’m gonna leave the country if (insert name of target person here) “ losers, obviously haven’t looked into just how difficult and expensive it is to establish residence, let alone citizenship in any country. Some of the rich losers like the Hollywood zombies may be able to buy their way in with a couple million dollar “donation” to the gubmint apparatchiks in charge, but then, they show their typical hypocrisy.

Portugal has something called a Golden Visa program and it only takes a 500k Euros “investment” – if you buy a house worth that much or more, that works.

I treat Lady Gaga and Fran Drescher similarly but opposite. When Lady Gaga is on the screen, I turn off the picture but turn up the volume. When Fran Drescher is on the screen, I turn down the volume but continue watching.
