This Is A Job For The Counselor Squad

Shot: Vandals of sorts “attack” Lisa Bender’s house:

Chaser: And in response Bender filed a…

…well, let’s look at the Channel 5 story:

The Minneapolis Police Department told 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS there is an incident report filed concerning an act of vandalism that occurred at the home of Minneapolis City Council President Lisa Bender last week.

Bender declined an interview request from KSTP.

I smell some more private security for the more-equal animals.

And I’m not the only one, if you read between the lines:

Three Minneapolis City Council members, Andrea Jenkins, Alondra Cano and Phillipe Cunningham recently received threats that prompted safety concerns, and the city paid for private security companies to provide extra protection.

Jenkins told KSTP there have been protests outside the homes of several city council members in recent weeks. After the vandalism at Bender’s home, she said she has never seen this type of vitriol aimed at the city council during her 16 years of work at city hall.

And remember – there are two Betg’s Laws in effect here; the 18th Law covers the media’s reaction, and let’s not rule out the 20th Law in re Councilwoman Bender or her staff themselves.

  1. I would like to see proof of the threats against the Three Stooges of the City Clowncil. My bet, if there are any threats, they are coming from within their own constituency.

As for Lisa Bender. Ha! Ha! Your position has been usurped!

  2. -and the “citizens” paid for private security companies to provide extra protection.

    fify

  3. There was a young lady of Riga
Who went for a ride on a tiger
    They returned from the ride
    With the lady inside
And a smile on the face of the tiger…

  4. Yep, this about describes the situation.

But, for future reference, Riga (pronounced r-ee-ga) does not rhyme with tiger. You should have used Tigger instead :-). Or use something like “lady of Tiber. ” Sorry.

  5. Back in the day the display on her steps would have been a burning bag of poop.

  6. The Minneapolis Chief of Police has already told citizens to be prepared to surrender their wallets and phones to criminals. He forgot to mention porches.

  7. Isn’t she displaying some sort of privilege to be calling police about damage to her house?

  8. Now its getting serious!
BLM/Antifa trespassed in the Mt Curve/Kenwood neighborhood.
    Didn’t they get the memo?
Don’t they know this is not allowed?
The wrong ox has been gored.

  9. In the past, the “political” was not “personal.” You could shout at the City Council during the City Council meeting, but you couldn’t track them down at home, or church, or at their kids’ school. That was out of bounds and everybody knew it.

    Until Hillary.

With her,the “political” became “personal” and all the old rules went out the window. She practiced the politics of personal destruction against everybody standing in her way. She lowered the societal bar for everyone.

During Occupy Wall Street, government employee unions bussed hundreds of protestors to terrorize the families of bankers at home. Conservatives warned that Leftists and Democrats were making a mistake, that they wouldn’t like living under the new rules, but they applauded the mob.

They’ve applauded every mob until suddenly, the mob turned on them. Now, suddenly, mobs at homes are not okay. Now, suddenly, terrorizing people’s families is not okay.

Liberals who yanked out the foundation stone of civilization and got hit on the head by falling bricks get ZERO sympathy from me.

Instead of whining about it, tell me how you’re going to help build society back up. Tell me how you’re going to crack down on crazies, how you’re going to push for traditional rules, conservative morals. Show me I should believe you.

  11. I’m rather curious as to which accomplishments Frey and his City Council will claim during their re-election campaigns.

    The opposition ads write themselves.

  12. Of course, now it’s apparently illegal for these families to defend their homes from mobs of “peaceful protesters”. Los Angeles DA Jackey Lacey’s husband, is being charged with assault by hypocritical Javier Bacerra. Mr. Lacey’s error was, apparently, that he pointed the gun at the miscreants and threatened to shoot them.

  13. To paraphrase Warhol, in the future everyone will be Robespierre for five minutes.

  14. Instead of whining about it, tell me how you’re going to help build society back up. Tell me how you’re going to crack down on crazies, how you’re going to push for traditional rules, conservative morals. Show me I should believe you.

JD, they are not interested in re-building. But you already know that. “Elections matter”. At every level.
