A blessed Easter to you and your children, Mitch. Speaking of which, is your daughter back yet? Mine comes home tomorrow, and that will be wonderful.

Bun is due back tomorrow night. I’ve already got the flight-trackers lined up.

I wish them both Godspeed.

One question. Super smothering I love you more than life itself hug, or casual, hey sweetie, how was the trip?
April 3rd, 2010 at 11:20 pm
Go for the smother. How many chances for those do you get anymore?

Yeah, and even if Bun might pretend not to like it, if she is trying to act oh-so grown up – daughters DO usually appreciate that kind of hug from Dad, so don’t hold back.
I’m glad your daughter is coming home safe and sound as well Kermit. I imagine she will be doing her own “there’s no place like home” happy dance, after a trip to a location that has such troubles, above and beyond her joy at returning to her family.
Daughters home again – better than all the chocolate bunnies in the world, right?

There’s not a chocolate bunny to compare with it.

Smother accomplished!

Kermit, I think it is safe to say the Easter Rabbit brought you and Daddy Mitch what youmost wanted – I’m happy for you both!
Now comes the hard part – listening attentively to every “you had to be there” experience, until you think your ears are going to bleed. It might help to just pperfect the I’m so damn glad you are home safe and sound smile, LOL, and just keep it in place for the duration..

Why, thanks, DG! You are correct!
On – trust me on this – all counts.
