You might find the comments from a resident of that town to be interesting as well. Especially the one that explains that “[t]he woman in glasses in the front is a former social democrat candidate. Before the grooming scandal broke the news, she denied such problem even existed and claimed migrant rape gangs are just a lie made up by racists”.

Curious.
Why do Middle Eastern, East Indian and African “migrants“ go on rape sprees when placed among Caucasian European women, but we don’t hear of this phenomenon in their 3rd world shitholes?
Do they not run wild at home, or is it that their home countries are such gigantic catastrophes rape is far down the ladder from the biggest problem?
And, since we all know it’s only families that are migrating, why do the men abandon their wives and children as soon as they set foot in a civilized country?

It’s in English? Maybe Urdu, Arabic, and Farsi might be more appropriate languages for the message. Or maybe, for those who’ve actually tried to learn the languages, Finnish or Swedish? (Oulu is pretty much on the border with Sweden)
Really, this kind of thing will stop about the same time that groping is rewarded with a beat-down instead of with a gentle request not to continue.

I think that rape is a small problem in societies where the relatives of the victim address the issue rather than the justice system.

Except for those where, apparently, the method of dealing with the disgrace of a girl is for the family and friends to gang rape her and then murder her, I guess. You want perverse, we can talk about “honor killings”.
Or a society we invaded 18 years ago where the men deal with their urges by gang raping young boys. Sorry, I’ve got this weird idea that maybe our religion makes a difference in what moral choices we make.

There is a significant rape issue in India, but it’s starting to get serious pushback from both government & citizens, at least in the urban areas. It might be less of an issue in the more rural areas, as those folks have no problem killing trouble makers.
