News outlet Samhällsnytt reported that the 16-year-old climate activist is now included in the school curriculum and is being portrayed in an overtly sympathetic light, with the course describing her as an “alarm clock” that “allows us to discuss, talk, and reflect on what is happening to our world.”
According to one student, “Greta is practically painted as a saint.”
Students are tasked with making memes about Greta that mock her opponents and disprove criticism that has been leveled at her.
“In one task, they are asked to find a picture to illustrate the sentence “One simply doesn’t mess with Greta,” a nod to an outdated Boromir meme from “Lord of the Rings,” reports Sputnik.
According to education publisher Liber, including Greta in lessons is “important to constantly offer materials and teaching materials that reflect the contemporary.”
The mural is in San Francisco – but I’d expect Stockholm (and Minneapolis) to do their best to keep up with the joneses.

Rest assured that if conservative parents took their 16 year old daughter out of their indoctrination center and allowed her to spread a conservative message, the left would be charging her parents with child abuse.

Boss, amen on the child abuse. But it’s worse than you say; her parents and handlers took an autistic child on a boat with no shower, no kitchen, and no medical or mental health care, and sent that boat up to 1500 miles from the nearest available doctor. Why that doesn’t qualify as actionable in Sweden is beyond me.

It’s wonderful to see SiTD stand with our 73-year-old president who was attacking a 16-year-old who is on the autism spectrum.
The people who were very, very offended over someone using a teenager’s name to make a pun must be completely beside themselves with outrage over this.

Emery, if you read carefully, you’ll see your host said bupkus about Trump. Just sayin’.
For my part, I find that Miss Thunberg has all the scientific expertise that I’d expect of a 16 year old who has never taken a college level science class. I also find that the environmental left, by introducing her as their hero, has a slightly lower level of scientific knowledge. They can’t even figure out, for example, that the fancy racing sailboat she came here on has a far greater carbon footprint (about 4kG/passenger-mile) than driving or flying an equivalent distance. It’s higher by over an order of magnitude.
And why one would ever trust the business of government, and transitively our economy, to such ignoramuses is beyond me.
