The Left is united in denouncing President Trump’s comment that he’d listen to opposition research, even if it came from overseas.
Andrew Napolitano says it’d be a felony.
Excellent. Now do Hillary.

Gaslighters! Gaslighter team! Breakout of whataboutism in ShotInTheDark.
Don’t try to say that Hillary and the DNC did the same thing, because they didn’t. They were just paying Perkin Coe for legal expenses. Who know why Marc E Elias took it off the rails?
It’s his fault, not Hillary’s.
You say Robby Mook knew about it? Then it’s his fault, not Hillary’s.
You say Huma Abedin knew about it? Then it’s her fault, not Hillary’s.
You say….. Whatever you say, it’s not her fault because she didn’t know
Note: Marc E Elias, the lawyer who hired Fusion GPS to pay Russians to say naughty things about Donald Trump was the same guy who (according to Heavy.com) “served as lead counsel for Senator Al Franken in the 2008 Minnesota Senate election recount” and “represented Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton in the governor’s recount”.
Just say’n.
Define “Help.” Receiving a monetary donation is easy to define and cut and dry, but how do you do research into an opponent’s dealings outside the country without talking to people, organizations, and possibly even governments outside of the United States? Joe Biden’s son is involved in business dealings in the Ukraine. What if it’s discovered that Joe has financial interests in those dealings, and what if it’s found out that there are shady aspects (pay to play, strong arm tactics, etc) to those business dealings. Can President Trump not investigate that? If he can investigate it does he have to pay for every tidbit of information?
At this point, does it really matter?
“I’m the guy that gets away with it.” ~ Donald Trump
I always thought that’s why he appeals to his support — as that.
Narcissists don’t destroy themselves, they destroy everything around them and then blame it on others.

Right. And Dunning_Kruger specialists always show up to explain it to everyone, usually using someone else’s words.
Where’d ya dig that quote up, D_K?
Cheese and rice. I’m on a moderation roll.
Rex Tillerson’s description of Trump could equally apply to some of his supporters, including you.
Trump’s ball sweat smells like the panic of some leftist douchnozzles, including you.
Emery, aka “the guy who is wrong all of the time,” is going to lecture us.
Uh. Okay, then! Let ‘er rip, Emery!
Hillary by a landslide, eh, Emery?
I guess the key question is how long should a good husband wait to bang a porn star after your child is born. Perhaps Trump can give us some tips? And when to write the hush money check? Not sure of the protocol on this.
Not sure of the protocol on this.
No mystery there, D_K.
Trump is a wealthy man; running a multinational business, flying around in his own 737, marrying hot girls, banging porn stars, being President of the US, #Winning & etc.
You are a waste of flesh. Failed at everything you ever tried. Scratching around the leftist sewers of the internet for quotes to pinch in a desperate and pathetic attempt to appear even moderately knowledgeable to your betters. Incompetent at even that.
No one would blame you for ending your miserable life; no one would care.
The question comes under the general category of “Bimbo Eruption”.
Perhaps if the Democrats had asked such questions in 1992, they wouldn’t be dealing with Trump today, but Democrats have never, ever, ever been able to apply to themselves the standards they demand of others.
And nothing illustrates this phenomena better than the Clintons.
Kind of what this whole thread was about.
I think it is worth mentioning that “Democrats have never, ever, ever been able to apply to themselves the standards they demand of others” indicates, to me, an inability as opposed to a simple refusal. I think the latter is more correct. Fen’s Law.
Also, Democrats, until Trump, have always depended on Republicans to apply these standards to themselves, the very standards the Democrats demand of them. From what I can tell, this is basis for the bulk of the Never Trump Republicans. Put differently, these standards that are demanded by leftists form some, many or all of so-called principles that are held by Never Trump Republicans.
Shiftee:
There’s something wrong with that picture.
Aside from the fact that Trump enjoys blowing his own horn and exaggerating some facts and completely ignoring others while vilifying everyone who is not on board with his agenda, lies the awful truth that this President is only interested in “fighting”.
His interest is limited to obtaining the adoration of his supporters at the expense of everyone else.
This is not winning.
This will never make America great again.

Suck it, sweetheart.
You, on the other hand, fall in the category: ‘Always Certain, Rarely Right’.
