As The Kids Say, #Fatality”

By Mitch Berg

Ben Shapiro scored one:

I can’t wait until this week is over.

Of course, that’s why Democrats are always chanting “believe survivors” these days; Ted Kennedy was smart enough never to leave any.

They aren’t survivors, they are victims. Don’t let them pollute the language.

With her weird inability to remeber time & place, or even the people involved (other than Kavanaugh), Ford’s story seems designed to be a he said/she said scenario. Every detail that could be used to corroberate her story is missing.
If she named a date, it is possible that Kavanaugh could prove that he was out of town that day. If she named a place, it could be shown that the house was empty, or was being used for some other function, or her description of it did not match reality.
The one claim she makes with absolute certainty is the one claim that can derail Kavanaugh’s candidacy & the one that can not be proven or disproven.
Emery is usually a good supplier of left wing talking points. I see he is floating the idea that if Kavanaugh is found to have misstated somthing (I won’t say lie), it is therefore reasonable to assume that he lied when he said he did not assaut Ford. This is nonsense, of course, especially if you looking back in time more than three decades. The thing to look for is a pattern of deceit, and this is a rule that you must apply to ford and the Democrats on the committee as well as Kavanaugh and his supporters.
    Kavanaugh is being railroaded.

The charges against Kavanaugh could be brought against any man in America. “He tried to rape me in at some time the past, I don’t remember exactly when or where, but I’m 100% certain it was him. And all the witnesses who say it didn’t happen, are all lying.” The fact half of America is willing to punish a man for such vague suspicion is chilling.

Democrats are hoping the FBI will give Kavanaugh the Scooter Libby and Mike Flynn treatment. “He told me X but that’s contradicted by Ford’s testimony so therefore he was lying. No, I didn’t make a recording of the conversation, I’m just going on memory. But if he lied about one thing, then we can assume every word he ever said is also a lie, including The and But. So he’s guilty as sin.”

Democrats never intended to vote for Kavanaugh, they’re hoping to be able to convince the RINOs that it doesn’t matter whether Kavanaugh raped Ford, it matters that he lied about it now. The FBI investigation is merely the pretext to claim a present lie over an ancient crime.

It strikes me that what the Democrats want to do to Kavanaugh is to Scooter Libby him. At a certain point, we have to simply ask whether a reasonable prosecutor would go forward in a he said/she said case where there is no time or place established, four people named by she have said it didn’t happen, and where obvious political games are being played by the accuser and her handlers. I say no, and there are lots of shades of Mike Nifong here.

What still sits in K’s favor is that none of Ford’s alleged witnesses corroborated her fable. But remember, if you believe it, it’s not a lie.

I’m not going to guess what is going on inside inside Ford’s head.
As a psychologist, I hope she knows that her memories are a creation of her mind, they are not reality, Time travel is not possible, unless we are talking about traveling into the future at 1 second per second.
In 1982 I was 22 years old. None of my memories are trustworthy w/o verification from physical evidence or the testimony of others.
The other day I saw a video of my parents when they visited me in Kona in the mid 1990s. The video showed a hula show, the kind, they put on for tourists, at a local hotel. And there I was, sitting next to them.
I have no memories of that at all. I would have sworn on stack of Bibles that I had never attended a hula show with them. Viewing the video didn’t jog any memories, It was like watching a video taken in an alternate universe.

It was an alternate universe, there are powerful forces guided by Pelehonuamea that are allied against you. One day you will be replaced by your doppelganger, a creature born of fire.
