The interviews in total paint Matthews as a tyrant liable to fly off the handle at the slightest mistake, who was eager to objectify women and made inappropriate sexual comments appear to be a matter of course for someone in his position.

Today, 8 years after having stolen it, Angry Al Franken will do the Walk of Shame as he leaves the US Senate in disgrace…which, oddly enough is exactly the same state he was in when he assumed the office.
But I’m curious. Congress critters get a boatload of free stuff when they leave office. Pension, medical & God knows what else.
Does a disgraced Senator get stripped of all that in the same fashion a Dishonerable Discharge strips a booted GI? I sure hope so…worth looking into.

He resigned. He was not ejected (as in kicked out for wrong-doing, not as in lost an election). So I kinda think he’ll still get all the post-senatorial goodies.
