Somewhere Between Zero and One Million Jobs Were Created By The Stimulus

OK. Closer to Zero.

G. Edward DeSeve, who runs the government’s economic recovery program, says the errors are “relatively few” and “don’t change the fundamental conclusions one can draw from the data.”

  1. When Bush cut taxes unemployment went down. Whatever you think of Bush’s deficit sending, it certainly did not bring on last Fall’s baning crisis. Obammy seems to think that Bush’s deficits were too small. Or something.
If you want massive deficit spending AND huge tax increases AND to lose a war vote democrat!

  2. Terry, you neglected to add AND a Depression to that list. With those huge taxes on adding employees those who are unemployed have very little chance of being rehired. Obama really IS recreating the environment of FDR where the Depression wasn’t so bad if you had a job, but if you lost it, it was cataclysmic.
