Joe Doakes from Como Park emails:
Every state issues its own driver’s license but the quality varies greatly. TSA decided it needed a standard form of identification to screen people allowed onto airplanes. As of next year, Minnesota’s driver’s licenses will not meet the new requirements. A bill to upgrade them is stalled in the state legislature.
That means you won’t be able to get on an airplane using your Minnesota driver’s license. The only other form of acceptable identification is your United States passport. So even if you’re flying domestically – even a short hop from Minneapolis to Duluth – you must show your federal passport.
An Internal Passport to travel within the United States.
Your papers, bitte. Have a nice trip, comrade.

He’s right, you know.
I am a bit perplexed about this whole debacle. This was another extreme case of government overreach. Of course, with all of the left wing states that are allowing illegal aliens to get a driver’s license, maybe this was there check point. Nah! What was I thinking?!
He’s right, you know.
Who? Mr. Hilter.
In Hawaii, if you got no ID, you are stuck. Can’t get on a plane, and you can’t drive between the islands or to the mainland, of course. There is no regular, scheduled passenger ship service between the islands or to the mainland, and if there was, they’d probably want TSA approved ID anyway.
With traitorous, America hating leftist run states like MN and CA giving their DL’s to illegals, I think it’s time for real American states to start declining to recognize them.
Y’all will have to either mark your’s as “non-citizen”, or apply for one of ours.
