  1. Not me, Mitch.

In my three years at Grand Forks, I dug out my share of stuff partially buried by snow drifts and that stuff was on the flight line. One would think that on flat concrete, it would just blow off, but noooo! It got stuck against the landing gear and power cart, then grew grow there.

Of course, then there was the time that my Mustang somehow ended up in the center ditch on Highway 2 between the base and town. Had to dig that out enough for my buddy to pull it out with his 4X4.

  2. a “moderate snowfall” has a completely different meaning in Mpls than it does in ND

  3. Over the years I’ve spent many a day snowed in at Center, Stanton, and Beulah power plants, especially during spring snow storms. Heck even the very short trip from the Mandan plants to the 7 Seas Motel could be an adventure in the worst weather. There were times when I could look out the motel window and see that I-94 was shut down.

Right now it’s 65 degrees in New York City. Tonight it’s going to snow 4 inches. Yet Trump & his administration still deny there’s a problem

  5. Kohn is a hard left wacko, a gay lawyer suffering from Trump syndrome. She’s the one that claimed that if Trump/Pence could be forced from office by impeachment it would be a constitutional crisis that would make way for Hillary to be come POTUS. She ignored the fact that under suck events it would be Paul Ryan that would rise to the presidency. The NY Post took her down on those small facts. Seems they got ~21″ of snow in NYC back in 1888. Yup must have been due to ACC. What a dullard.

  6. Totally unrelated comment here, but Gander Mountain just filed Chapter 11. 32 stores yet to be identified, will begin shutting down immediately. This might be a great time to grab a couple of pieces of hardware and associated ammo.

  7. Funny Boss, I’ve never been a great fan of Gander. Bass Pro Shops acquired Cabelas and that was a surprise to me. Seems that the outdoor business is sorting out stuff. I noticed recently that stock in Dick’s Sporting Goods is floundering, not sure how it will all sort out.
