how about staying on topic peoples? I’m betting that two things will happen in this Senate bill. One is that were going to be able to hold the filibuster with Libermann doing his best Mr.Smith. Second, Reid will get so much pressure from the Marxists/Socialists from DKOS DU and MoveOn that he will try to slam it through on reconciliation and it will FAIL because there are enough moderate dems (we only need 10, assuming Joe stays on board) and Obama and company will have a ton of egg on their face because they have a supermajority in the Senate and they won’t be able to get a simple majority to vote for it. Good thing we didn’t use the nuclear option back in 2005 huh guys?

The Public option is a decoy. Even if that section is removed the rest of the bill is still garbage and does not deserve to pass. Don’t let Reid and Pelosi fool you they both know the Public options is not viable but they keep it around so most do not look at the rest of the bill. With a plan to drop it so people like Leiberman, Walz, and Peterson can eventually vote for the same lousy junk filled 110 NEW federal programs, agencies and commisions but no Public option like it is some grand solution.
The plan is…getting anything passed. Then each year the Democrats will add more and more to it. Don’t get abortion now? Wait 2 years. Every election from now until we all die will be about gov’t run “health care” (sic).
