In 1994, when Bill Clinton was President, there was another flare-up in the long-standing war between two African tribes – the Hutu and the Tutsis – fought mainly in Rwanda over the issue of political control to give special privileges to the dominant tribe’s members. The losers fled to The Congo and continued the fight. Nearly 5 million people have died and inter-tribal killing continues.
In the United States today, Black people want special privileges. They’ve been able to shame White people into going along because some White people were guilty of slavery so all White people should pay for it. Hispanics are less sympathetic and Asians outright hostile because neither of those groups feels racial historical guilt over offenses committed 100 years before they arrived in this country.
Black Lives Matter has upped the ante. They called for dead cops and are starting to get them. Black Lives Matter does not seek progress, it seeks regress. It seeks to return Western Civilization to the level of Africal Tribal Warfare.
Hispanics, Asians and Whites get lumped together as “White” for purposes of crime reporting and affirmative action. As a “tribe,” Whites together with Hispanics and Asians, are 85% of the population. We’re more numerous, more prosperous and better armed than Blacks. If Black Lives Matter starts a race war, it’s going to be a damned short one. But then, if Black Lives Matter had the ability to look at the big picture and take the long view, they wouldn’t be trying to start a race war at all.

Y’know, it’s not something I care to discuss, since no rational person on “either side” is remotely interested in things turning out that way.
But I think the talk of militants – especially militants whose target is society at large – is wishful to the point of comical.
If we want to muse about race war, it seems the best thing for the “white” side is to simply sit back and let the “black” side shoot each other for us, as they are already doing. We shouldn’t need to be involved at all.
Some of the “leaders” of BLM are calling for a disbanding of the police nationally. They want anarchy. The ironic thing is if they do ever get their wish in a city (and at the rate of cops being killed now a police department or two might consider doing it, and I wouldn’t blame them) its only going to result in more deaths of them. They will be the biggest victims of their own policies.
have to disagree PoD, people like Nekima Levy-Pounds are closer in spirit to Winnie Mandela ( “With our boxes of matches and our necklaces we shall liberate this country.”) and the Mandela United Football Club (MUFC) than to Nelson Mandela (not that he was a saint). BLM models itself more closely on the “activism” of Winnie Mandela.

Winnie Mandela wanted to establish a ruling socialist thugocracy that would of course need to liquidate many of her own people as well as the white interlopers in order to bring about her African Peoples Paradise. Similarly once the BLM folks get in their groove lots of people, not just blacks, will have to die.
Look at who BLM speaking to.
It’s not conservatives, it’s not moderates. It is the elites.
What they want is to have a racial carve-out, so that any interaction between Black individuals and government is funneled through the Justice Department.
People who say they want equality actually want superiority. They want more legal rights, not the same legal rights, as other people.
Bento, BLM is just wondering why they’re not getting the same justice as the party elites, gays and other Democrat-favored constituencies.
POD: They don’t want anarchy. They want a nationalized police force – which they can manipulate politically, ie their crony players in the DOJ, WH, media and Hollywood. They can achieve a political coup by consensus. All they need is a complicit and cowed public.
So they are basically advocating for a modern day SS? And they call us nazis…
We are heading toward martial law. These police shootings will be Herr Oblabla’s reason.
