  1. lol…Slobmama thinks he’s being crafty. Instead of nominating someone he REALLY would like, he’s picked this poor, has-been off the ash pile because he thinks he can call Garland a moderate.

    Pity he forgot about this…

Garland is considered anti-Second Amendment. As the National Review noted last week: “Back in 2007, Judge Garland voted to undo a D.C. Circuit court decision striking down one of the most restrictive gun laws in the nation” and voted “to uphold an illegal Clinton-era regulation that created an improvised gun registration requirement.” Obama will use his pick to pursue a gun control agenda.

    Schwoops!

lol…he might as well have nominated Rep. Martens.

  2. lol…my phone is blowing up with state and national NRA calls to action. No need to Bork, stick this one with a fork.

  3. The ‘objective’ press corp is, of course, very much anti-second amendment. So what you will hear from the press is that Garland is a moderate, and only right-wing extremists could oppose his appointment to replace Scalia (whom the press considered an arch-conservative).
If the GOP was smart (which they are not) they would not mention the appointment without also mentioning that Garland is out of step with the American people on the second amendment.

  4. The Democrat base is going to be pissed as hell when they find out this Supreme Court fight doesn’t have anything to do with the NBA.

  5. The link was about The Judicial Crisis Network’s $2 million ad buy opposing Garland.

    Better’n nothing I guess.

  6. “Come back with your shield, or on it” . . . until such time as Hillary wins the White House, then confirm him ASAP.

  7. Hillary will plead to a misdemeanor to avoid prison, but she’s never going to see the inside of the White House again.

  8. Sucks when the shoe is on the other foot, doesn’t it Ricky? You hypocrite libidiots seem to forget 1992, how you went after Bork , how Russ Feingold threatened to filibuster in 2005 or how Chucky Shumer preached against GW for the same thing in 2007.

    God you people disgust me!

  9. It’s worth noting that if by some horrible chance Hilliary gets back in the White House and gets this guy on the court, the Democrats will pay for generations. Regardless of what the ABA says about this guy’s qualifications, if he doesn’t honor the 2nd Amendment as written–the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed–he’s not qualified.

  10. The Republican leaders have this history of saying

    no,no,no,no,no, oh all right.

Achieving the seemingly impossible outcome of having EVERYONE hating them.
