Anniversary

By Mitch Berg

Girl on the Right notes an anniversary I’d sadly forgotten:

On this day three years ago, 191 innocent people were murdered in the name of Allah while they were on their way to work in Madrid. That is Islam. That is the religion of Allah and the Prophet Mohammed.

Well, it’s wahabbi extremism, a sect that all too few Moslems have overtly rejected…

…but yes.  It was three years ago today that the terrorists brought Europe into their war.

And exactly two posts later you call the ‘lefties’ out for bashing faith, specifically:

“”Which is good, because the tradition of bashing faith (or at least Christianity; Islam and non-observant, Israel-phobic Judaism are not quite so feared) is wide and deep on the left. Especially locally.””

Hang on, Mitch, You are bouncing around so fast I think you might fall of your roller coaster!

    Flash

Um, no, Flash. No bouncing at all.

Even some moderate Moslems decry the unwillingness of so much of Islam to reject the Wahabbi. There’s no bashing whatsoever in my post.

    As opposed to Fecke.

I mean, unless you can show me a credible,  non-fringe right-of-center Christian who openly condones hate crimes (to say nothing of suicide bombings – something you’ll note that you never see Christians doing) against gays, abortion providers, anyone, then where’s the comparison?

    There is, of course, none.
