A Good Kid With A Gun

13-year-old boy grabs mom’s gun, kills armed robber:
The boy said he heard a vehicle pull up behind his house, then heard someone trying get inside a few minutes later. At that point, the teen picked up his mother’s gun and went to the back door of the home.
Authorities said the boy told them he fired the gun through the door and the person outside fired back. The boy fired several more shots, apparently wounding the suspect. . . .
A burglar who shot back? The term for that is “armed robber”.
A note of caution – trying this in metro Minnesota would be only as safe as the most zealous prosecutor will allow it to be.
But let’s not quibble now; the good guys won one.

Kid was on the local news last night. Humble, polite, if Obama had a son, he’d be nothing like this kid.
The guys he shot it out with? Well they fit the Obama mold in every way. The one that survived was in court yesterday telling the judge he had no idea what any of this is about; he was just driving his friend to the hospital; was never near the kids house.
Unfortunately, his bullet riddled car ratted on him.
South Carolina is a good case study on 2A rights. Armed criminals down here stand a better than average chance of getting killed, either by the coppers or, just as often, armed citizens (you can find at least 1 story every week about some idiot being escorted off the planet). On the other hand we see that there are plenty of crooks out there that are still willing to take their chances (you can find at least 1 story every week about some idiot being escorted off the planet).
Moral of the story: Your pistol; don’t leave home without it.

“Breastfeeding Mother Uses Gun to Fend Off Home Intruders in North Carolina”
Semantha Bunce, 21, a combat medic in the National Guard, was in her Charlotte home breast-feeding her 4-month-old son in her bedroom when intruders barged in Tuesday, November 3, according to CNN affiliate WSOC.
As the intruders broke into the home and opened fire, Bunce fired back with her own weapon.

It now appears that the death of a Texas teenager found dead in his vehicle outside a Lowe’s parking lot in Austin, Texas, was a suicide–a suicide by cobra. A report from the Travis County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled the manner of death as self-inflicted.
Ban all cobras!
