Here’s the Washington County Watchdog, which has the Facebook thread with the Forest Lake women stealing “Vote No” signs – which is theft, suppression of free speech, and – since one of the women is involved in the “Vote Yes” campaign – must be some kind of violation of campaign laws.

Caught your show today. PLEASE, someone post video of Nicki and Shana, etc., being hauled off to jail. Your subject today about stealing campaign signs is is a very sore subject for me. I’ve written about it in newspapers a few times. I was looking for what I had written on the subject and I did find one ancient letter to the editor I wrote during the Ashwin Madia/Eric Paulsen election. Madia’s campaign manager’s wife had been caught on tape stealing Paulsen campaign signs. It was then and is still a crime to steal signs. Even so, officials allowed her to escape prosecution because she returned the signs. I wondered then if other thieves would be allowed the same courtesy in similar cases. I suppose most would think the case you spoke of today shouldn’t matter to me because I don’t live anywhere near their community. I do care though, because freedom of speech matters everywhere. A John Stossel report on the First Amendment showed a university that had a small triangle on their campus they had declared a “Free Speech Zone.” (Sighs. Hangs head. Bangs it on table.) AMERICA is supposed to be a free speech zone, and that includes the right to post signs and the right to prosecute those who infringe on the free speech rights of others by stealing their signs. They’d probably be prosecuted on a small private property theft charge, but I think this really is a First Amendment issue. These chicks who thought they were sooo funny and were dumb enough to post confessions to their crimes on Facebook should be arrested. I want to see the video when it happens. Should I hold my breath? At least blue matches my eyes.

Well, obviously nothing will happen when there are Democrats in charge of the Washington County government. Law breaking by their minions is just fine if it supports their goals.
