Wow. Bush looks so young there. And that was a nice bit of improv – I can hear you. I still remember 9/11 pretty clearly, working in 5th Street Towers in Mpls. Gorgeous Fall day, hearing guys on the sidewalk talking about a plane hitting a building, figuring it must have been a weird accident. Seems like a lifetime ago but at the same time I can’t believe that many years have elapsed.

Karl Rove was on Fox & Friends this morning talking about how this impromptu speech happened. As he tells it, a woman that was biking in the area told him that the people wanted to hear from the President. She was the one that found the bullhorn that he’s using in this clip.
